The service was excellent. The food was great. We asked for mild food and they made it just right. We also got some extra compliments of the restaurant. Really liked it. Will definitely recommend it.

Una cálida bienvenida por el personal amable - he estado viniendo aquí durante los últimos 5 años ya que mover en Greenford. Recientemente ha cambiado de dirección con un nuevo jefe - La calidad y el sabor de los platos ha subido otro nivel recientemente. En 21 años he tenido unas 4 comidas que eran sosas y cuando pregunté,, siempre ha sido porque el ordinario chefs han sido en vacaciones. Que ha cambiado en los últimos 6 semanas como 3 comidas han sido extremadamente soso. Además, las raciones se han reducido desde un cartón a un plato sólo un centímetro de profundidad. Ahora algunos de los platos de sabor totalmente diferente. Ver la crítica sobre los nuevos propietarios solo pregunte y sí, es verdad. La mayoría de personal han ido excepto por el genial Sid y las mayores gent con gafas. Mi comida era también de 3 libras más esta noche porque estoy ahora me cobraron por la ensalada de cebolla que viene con pescado o pollo tandoori pollo tikka. Simplemente me voy a comer mi última comida de este lugar. Me presentaron al nuevo dueño, quien me dijo 'tengo un nuevo restaurante en seis a ocho semanas. Buena suerte con eso ya no regresaré. El año pasado me pasó algo en la región de £800 en comida para llevar. Ahora tenemos que viajar a Curry Mahal o para nuestro tome siempre Jaflong. Una pena porque la comida solía ser excepcional.

En mi familia, todos estamos de acuerdo en que siempre ha sido, y todavía es, nuestra opción 1 para Comida India Street. Incluso su comida para llevar son tan buenas. Servicio de entrega rápido. Yo bastante a menudo opta por recoger el pedido para llevar, porque me gusta charlar con el personal amable (cuando no está ocupada, por supuesto). Me dijeron que el conductor antes de salir que me faltaba el chapuzón. Dijo que están muy ocupados y te deja que este último poco no sería pronto! Después de 5 minutos volvió diciendo que se cayó en su coche! Y me la entregaron. No fue hasta que me dieron arriba he votado el arroz estaba mal, así que me llamó y me dijo que están muy ocupados y que herida esperar un largo tiempo para un intercambio. . Lo que vino después de 20 minutos. . Fue horrible. Sólo arroz, difícil de guisantes de jardín. Y pedazos de huevo frito! El arroz era la vía láctea y pasada y sin sabor. Nunca he probado el arroz que era la Vía Láctea. El madrás gambas flotando en aceite. Lo único que era remotamente pasable era popadom no estoy bromeando! Me tomó fotografías de la comida usted mismo. Muy mal. Si tienes un libro de cocina o seguir un vídeo de youtube que podría hacerlo mejor usted mismo. Quizás comer en el restaurante de comida para llevar, pero no se nada sobre india sólo un insípido desordenadas. Y CUANDO LLAMÉ ME PASARON A 3 personas diferentes. Arrogante y desdeñoso fue la recepción que me dieron. La última vez que les dará mi encargo. No grabadora. Pérdida de dinero y tiempo de espera.

Been visiting this place with friends at Xmas for the past 5 years. Always very welcoming, freshly prepared dishes including butter chicken, mixed grill and Karahi lamb. Food is very good and the staff do not rush you even when it's way past closing time.

Unless you have lots of time to spare and are not particular about food quality. We waited 2 hours for a mediocre meal this evening. Not good especially when there is a 1 week old baby in the party. Customers arriving after us and takeaways served before us. There was no apology or explanation for the delay. We almost phoned their takeaway number to order a meal!

Ordered a mixed grill as a takeaway dish. This is a dish I have had before at this restaurant and have been unable to finish it.When we got home I discovered the portion contained one sheekh kebab, a leg and thigh of chicken and three tiny (one inch square) cubes of tandoori chicken. That is not a mixed grill.When I rang to complain, the manager offered me a larger portion next time.There will not be a next time.

We stopped in here having needed to come up to Harrow for a Dr appt and had a great dinner. The staff was perfect and the food was delicious. Located right next to Sudbury town tube station, the location is ideal if you happen to be in the area. Really well priced as well, would definitely come back if I was in the area for any reason.

Probably the best Sid"s special ever. Certainly worth the trip down from the Midlands. Great food, friendly service and enjoyable evening.

We have been to this place a few times and we always receive the same friendly, warm invite and the food is simply amazing! the Lamb Rogon Gosh and Tandoori trout are SO fingers licking,a must try!

The food is really nice however the waiting time between courses was a very long time however the end result was well worth the wait

Met some friends at this lovely restaurant and have to say that our first visit most definitely won't be our last. The atmosphere is cosy and the team are attentive as can be without being intrusive. The food is divine, haven't had a Chicken Saag that good in ages. My wife opted for the Chicken Shaslick and a really nice touch was the way the sizzling platter arrived and was then served in small portions onto her plate. A sure sign of good company and good surroundings is when you look at your watch and realise you have been there longer than you thought. The prices are extremely good and a bill for four worked out at under £70, can't argue with that! Sid and his team have created a lovely little haven of peace considering the busy road outside and the chef really knows how to temper the spices to suit the palate. Exquisite food, great service and no after effects mean we are already planning a return visit. A truly enjoyable experience. Thank you, Sid and your team.

My family of four went here about 8 pm and the place was absolutely empty. The lighting was too dim - you wouldn't see what you are eating. The guy who approached us at the table was impolite who offered us papadoms while we made our choices. Usually these are complementary in most Indian restaurants but he was selling them. When I enquired about certain food ingredients and portions the guy was rude again. In the meantime papadoms came which had gone off and smelled and tasted of mould. Other items were barely edible and were in stingy portions. Moreover, these gave us all stomach upset for the next 24 hours. We will never be going back.

I rarely feel prompted to review places, however I have been to the Akash with friends who live in the area and feel it is more than worthy of a mention. The menu is typical of many local Indian restaurants, with the usual favorites we all know: however at the 'Akash' the food is fresh, well presented and with great attention to detail. It goes without saying that the service is excellent. Although I live overseas and travel a lot in the UK for work, I'm always ready to meet my mates there for an Indian!

I have visited several times, the food is just stunning.My favorite dish is a Lamb Pasanda, I haven't been able to find anywhere that can produce this dish any where near as well.The quantity of food is good, more than enough for me (I am 6ft and 25).The staff are excellent, the owner is very friendly. I really cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

I go to this place on a regular basis as it is our local Indian.The food and service are top notch and all the dishes are first class. You get a reduced price (10% I think) if you order a takeaway but I am not sure if they do delivery. To be honest I prefer to go there and have the meal there served piping hot and make an evening of it!

I have been living in Sudbury Hill now for approaching five years - and probably I will be there longer than Captain James T. Kirks original mission!One summers evening my future wife and I were discussing the local curry house and she said that she had not been there so the the answer was "get your shoes we're going!".We get a warm welcome every time we go there plus a drink on the house at the end (nice touch).We always have a good meal because on each visit as both service and food are superb and I like the place as it is more like a traditional curry house of old and not the new style where bums on seats and raised dining areas seems to over ride everything and the prices are very reasonable.As mentioned above we are always warmly greeted by Sid the owner or his brother Melad plus Abdul & Grandad always tend to us and our guests needs.We have been here with both family and friends and everyone has said how good that the food is and they have generally all been back with us on one or more occasions.Fridays, Saturday & Sundays the place is rammed in the evening but midweek it is a lot quieter and as we are locals who regularly frequent the place they always manage to fit us in without fail!This means that we are totally loyal to Sid and the boys and we don't go anywhere else when the idea of popping out for a curry is mentioned!

We love this place, great food, good service. Lamb Rogan Josh is brilliant. Only downside is that it gets very busy on a Saturday, you'll need to book to avoid a long wait.
