The Chicken Tikka Masala is lovely from here. Food, Staff and Atmosphere is good

Straight to the point, the worst food I have ever been served in a restaurant. I'll never go return.

The food is the nicest Indian food. Waiters are friendly helpful and knowledgeable recommending really good dishes, special mention to Sadiq. We had a great time and will be back soon.

The food was v similar to the now shut imperial and after talking to a staff member about lack of entertainment it was reminiscent of the imperial...Michael Jackson impersonation and patelvis! Twice now had frozen food , indish just lost a family Customer I have been coming for years now and always enjoy the staff meals now renamed, I know it takes a long time to prepare my favourite dish ,but to be told its fresh when clearly been frozen leftover from the previous, even when asked told it was fresh ,texture of the food was clearly frozen. Sorry lost my fath in your quality of food. So chosen to vote with my feet and never come back.

I would have given 0 stars if possible this was absolutley terrible naan bread undercooked we booked in advance for 12 people and they didn't even have enough cheese for cheese naan and even my kid could cook better food don't recommend .

After a very busy seminar, we went Indish where I had booked for 15 people. When I turned up with 40, they quickly got us seated all together. It was an extremely busy Saturday night but they were so welcoming and the food was absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Ali organised everything but a big shout out to all you guys.

After booking yesterday 4-3-24 for 6pm we were told we have to be out for 7.30pm which was fair enough as I understand they were busy After been seated they took our order and starters arrived and were lovely They one of our party ordered another drink and we had to remind them 3 times before it arrived We were the kept waiting till 7.15 before our food arrived which gave us 15 mins to eat it One of the waiters apologised and said they forgot it !!!!!!!!!!! Mine personally was lovely and so was my friends sizzler The other 3 meals were not good one lamb Kori one chicken tikka masala and 1 chicken Korma They were exactly the same taste and obviously rushed and heated in a rush (microwave) I then asked for tap water as I was driving again 3 times and it was only when a good waiter said this isn’t on and went and got it himself Then we split the bill 2 ways and mine was £80 and others £77 The Boss man then asked my friend for a tip FOR THE BOYS and reluctantly he agreed only to find out he had put £30 tip on the bill Which only on reflection we realised Disappointed in this as parts of the experience was good but parts not so good

Ordered chicken curry as takeaway. Chicken is like slop. What was supposed to be a spicy curry is like a strange sweet and sour. Straight in the bin, if I saw my dog eating this I would stop it.

We visited on valentines day and it was amazing and I mean everything from the young girl at rhe door to the waiters, the decorations, the live singer and the food was gorgeous . I would highly recommend chicken tikka nandi xx

We visited here on valentines night. All I can say is it was fabulous, from the live singer, the decorations, the free champagne and most of all the food (especially the chicken tikka Nandi). The staff are very attentive and friendly and so polite.

Ash was are waiter top experience really enjoyed it highly recommend!!

Being an Indian myself, I recognise authentic Indian dishes. I was very disappointed with the bland, saltless food served at this restaurant. The chicken karahi was a mild tomato sauce with zero spice and salt, just boiled chicken breast chucked in the curry. The vegetarian biryani had no salt either and when I mentioned to the waiter he brought me table salt. Very poor quality. Won't be visiting again. Certainly don't recommend for South Asian people.

This place is so overrated. We’ve had many issues when ordering a takeout eg items not included & we had given up with going here but decided to give it one last go, so ordered a takeout.. yet again we were disappointed. Popadums smashed up & stale. Chicken handi poor & not representative of a proper handi. We won’t be returning.

I don't know if I arrived at the wrong time but in arriving the young girl at the desk seemed very dismissive when I came in and said I had a table booked. She just nodded her head and continued doing what she was doing. I sat myself down while I waited for my friend to arrive. She didn't come over once to ask us are we OK or take us to our seat. I had to do that myself. However, once in the actual restaurant the service was impeccable. Especially the waiter Ash. He was helpful., friendly and offered recommendations. I even tried some new dishes and loved them because his information. All in all a great meal

In a party of 30ish half way through the meal we were approached to pay a set price of 30 pound ahead which wasn't acceptable 16 paid 30 pound 8 paid wat they ate dissatisfied

This place is amazing. The staff couldn't do enough or be anymore helpful. The recommendations they gave for food was excellent can not fault the place. Made welcome from the start and left feeling stuffed. Awesome

Ordered a takeaway through Just Eat. Asked if we could have vegetables instead of meat in my daughter's favourite curry and it was no problem. Food was delivered in just over 30 minutes. Delicious as always!!

Firstly I booked for 4 of us for a meal NYE. When we turned up I was told there was no booking so I shown the waiter my confirmation email in which his response was ‘well did you pay a deposit’ in which I stated when booking they don’t ask for one. He then said well everyone else here has paid one. Told the waiter yet again that’s not my problem I was never asked for one on the website in which again his abrupt response was ‘well the website doesn’t work’ despite the fact I had a confirmation. He then told us we would have to wait 45 mins which we had to as already paid our taxi there. Side note Uber eat drivers take priority over people dining inn. After finally sitting down, service was slow. Understandable busy night however this should be managed more effectively then with more staff to facilitate the amount of people. When we finally get served we were told it was a £54.95 set menu. Again this was never explained at time of booking. The entertainment was good DJ, fire breather and belly dancer, however music was too loud to the point you literally couldn’t have a conversation and the place stunk of petrol the fire breather. Food was tasty can’t fault that. When it came to the bill luckily we were sober enough to realise they also tried adding extra drinks on there that we didn’t have. Also like to point out the menu states glass of champagne on arrival that never happened either. We also witnessed a older staff member talking to a younger waiter in an unpleasant manner after he accidentally dropped a glass due to the chaotic environment in which he said ‘hurry up and pick it up then’. I certainly wouldn’t want me children working there that’s for sure. Overall won’t be returning.

We had a family meal on NYE Rez looked after us from start to finish Very attentive when we were ordering We had drinks first then starters and mains all lovely and hot Nothing was to much for Rez Great meal and spot on service

Booked for a large party on Christmas day as I've never heard a bad word about Indish. What a disaster - The music was so loud that I could only describe it as being front row at Glastonbury. Indian starters almost thrown at us with a long wait for English starters, followed by a 2 hour wait for mains. When we asked about the delay we were told that its because 'everybody turned up at once' - which quite frankly you expect when that's the time given to arrive. It seemed like Just Eat and uber eat deliveries were main priorities to get out of the door. We can't comment on desserts because after being there for almost 3 hours for cold mediocre food, everybody was fed up and eager to leave. Everybody else in the restaurant also seemed to be frustrated and complaining about the noise and the wait times. The pumpkin napkins and one cracker on the table were a really nice festive touch 👌 All in all, a huge disappointment which really ruined Christmas day as a family and a whole lot of money wasted to all go home hungry

This is only the second time I have been.the first time was awfull .the family came chrismas day £50 two union barges and a cold main course Service awful .dont expect to get a plate given me .will never go again. To noisy and bad service

The welcome you are given when you arrive at Indish is lovely. Lots of attentive knowledgeable staff including their waiters. I had a lamb madras which was really, really good. I live down south but was up to visit family. A must when you visit these parts. I would definitely recommend Indish!

We had a booking for Boxing Day which was pre booked. On arrival we were greeted by the door with a polite greeting and shown the bar area. We were seated within a few minutes. The restaurant quickly began to fill by 4.30pm. There was no delay in service in fact a little fast. As we had only been seated a few minutes. The atmosphere was wonderful. The food was superb. The service was extremely stretched after the mayhem with the chef. Yes we waited an extremely long time for our main meal but the atmosphere was that good the time passed very quick. We finally received our orders and the food was of high standards and no complaints from me, or our party. I will go as far as to say the professional way the staff conducted themselves when under such immense pressure was noted. My criticism of indish…. The ladies toilets need a regular cleaner to inspect them they was not the cleanest of toilets in a restaurant. And the female staff were extremely quiet and reserved. Best 2 persons I would name would be the female bar tender on shift tonight she was very bright and bubbly with a very good memory for the orders she takes. And also to the management for averting a crisis on such a busy night of the year. Well done ….And I will be back again.

Booked for christmas day about five weeks before Paid the deposit About a week before christmas day started getting text messages Ask me what we all wanted to order Which was a nightmare I said one christmas dinner for the child and seven indian dinners No Wanted to know exactly what we wanted Start and main & side Which was a nightmare and I couldn't believe it But I got there in the end My reservation was five o'clock of Christmas day Got there and it was absolutely hammered Sat down waiting for a table for about thirty minutes I will say the bar staff was excellent Then we got moved to a table One hour later the Starter his turned up was all OK Then an hour later The main courses Two of them was cold We got the wrong sides The right ones came over after eating the food No Organisation and and very Greed owners Taking too many bookings for christmas day All in all christmas day dinner at this place was hell on earth

I have just had my first meal here. The dish I ordered was a little spicier than I'm used to so asking the advice of the staff is recommended. The staff were so helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble The restaurant is clean with a fresh modern decor. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to my friends.

I recently visited Indish, a restaurant located just outside the Manchester area, and my experience was certainly a unique one. Despite being an Indian restaurant, Indish presented a culinary journey with a subtle twist that deviated from the usual robust and bold flavors associated with traditional Indian dishes. The menu boasted a variety of dishes, and our choices reflected our anticipation for a true authentic Indian dining experience. However, some of the dishes seemed to hold back on the characteristic explosion of flavors that one might expect. It appeared as though the spices were toned down, creating a dining experience that deviated from the norm. Despite the subdued flavors, the overall ambiance of the restaurant was outstanding. Welcoming and friendly staff, decent looking place, not much parking but there are places to park nearby. I tried the chicken madras which was nice and spicy, portion of pilau rice was very small though, nice pudding and drinks. I would go again.

Love this place. Staff are always friendly and helpful when you are unsure what to choose. Food is freshly cooked and delicious. Would definately recommend for couples, families of celebrations.

It's a lovely looking place and the decor is very well presented. I found the staff to be a little aloof at first. I'm not sure if I just came at a bad time or my accent was off putting but I didn't feel 100% welcomed at first but this changed after a short time, for reasons I don't fully understand. The food was very nice indeed and the on tap draught beers were clearly well looked after and fresh. All in all a positive experience with just a few minor issues that would doubtless bother someone without an anxious personality much less than myself.

I am new to the area so I wanted to try this restaurant as it looked good. Great hot food when it finally arrived. Had to wait over 2 hours for food, curries arrived without the rice then had to wait another 15 min for rice, chips and naan bread. Staff gave different excuses as to why the wait was so long. Definitely hesitant to return!
