Coming from a hard-core non vegetarian, I would say tge food was awesome. The noodles, malaise kofta and chilli naan was really tasty. I would definitely go back to explore their other dishes.

For a wholesome family outing, Shyona restaurant is the place to visit. Nearby Neasden temple provides spiritual experience and Shyona offers mouthwatering delicacies. The manager Mr Tej takes extra care and courtesy to look after all needs. A must visit place in London.

I bought some food from one your local take away shops. I usually love most of what I buy but I bought the Dahl Vada and the vadas were incredibly hard making them difficult to cut and chew and the Dahl swamped in very sweet tamarind sauce making the whole lot inedible. This is not prepared in an authentic way. Please make them softer and omit the imli or give it separately. Thanks in

The food was a delightful fusion of freshness and flavor, and the portions were just right. The warm ambiance made it a restaurant worth recommending.

It was our first visit and our family is disappointed yesterday due to poor service and a very long for the main course and finally ask to pack so we can go home and eat. Starters portion was very less and quick but a not ending wait for main course. Staff was asking why are you sitting then said that we are waiting for main course 🙂. We felt that they completely forgot about our order and didn't apologies for their mistakes.

Not Safe for People with Food Allergies My husband and I had lunch at the restaurant and while the food was nice and the service attentive, we had a very troubling experience regarding food safety for people with allergies. We had some leftovers and asked whether the dishes were gluten-free because our daughter has celiac disease (in our experience, Indian dishes are mostly gluten free) The waiter called the manager, who assured us that the dishes were gluten-free, but he would double-check. He later confirmed that it should not be containing gluten. The next day, our daughter ate the leftovers and became violently ill within an hour, showing classic celiac reaction symptoms. Upon reviewing the online menu, we discovered that one of the dishes was made with seitan—a product that is pure gluten! This incident demonstrates a serious lack of understanding and diligence regarding food allergies at this restaurant. Mislabeling or unclear communication about allergens can have dangerous, even life-threatening consequences. We urge anyone with food allergies or dietary restrictions to avoid this restaurant. It is not a safe place for those needing careful attention to allergen information.

We called in advanced to book, was not told the menu is not available so forced to have an over priced buffet, not much selection, Food was cold. Waiter forgot out tea and kept forgetting to bring our drinks and water. We had to keep asking, asking, asking. Very disappointed.

Outstanding buffet, I was so impressed with the food here and the service, I was clearly told of all that was vegan and that was everything but the nan bread, but they made roti just for me to compensate, the food was fresh and amazing.The take away savoury items are fantastic value and the best vegan cake I have ever had.

This is the restaurant run by BAPS Swaminarayan devotees. It's pure vegetarian restaurant and they do t use even onion and garlic. So a must recommended place for people looking for Sattvic food. Just next to it is a shopping mall and ice cream place as well maintained by devotees. Very nice food options 👌 😋.

We went with family members who do not eat onion or garlic and with most restaurants not service the catered need.. the food was fantastic for those not eating onion/garlic but overall food was good. Service a bit slow and all over but couldn't complain. Handwashing facility was outside the resturant on other side of entrance bypassing the grocery store which was a big minus. Cost wise it's can be avg to pricy depending upon what you order/how much one eats..avg is £15-£25 per person.

We recently held my daughter’s engagement ceremony at Shayona in Neasden, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From start to finish, everything was perfectly managed. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every detail was taken care of. Special mention goes to Tejibhai, who was outstanding in ensuring the day went smoothly, and his team was just as wonderful. The food was delicious and well catered to, offering something for everyone. All our guests commented on the fantastic atmosphere and how well the event was organised. A great place to go for pure, saatvik food, after a visit to the divine Swaminarayan Temple in Neasden, London. We were initially told there may be a 25-30 minute wait, because we were four adults and a child. But the manager very kindly found a place within a few minutes after checking with us if we would be happy to keep our kid on our lap. But I did notice a few high chairs meant for kids, and placing one at our table would have perhaps not been in the way. Maybe they should consider this point. The servive, in keeping the general attitude of everyone in and around the temple premises, was polite and helpful The service was fast, and the food was simply wonderful. A great place to visit if you are a vegetarian.

I stopped by here to eat something after visiting the Mandir, and I would definitely recommend doing so to others as well. The staff were kind and attentive and the food was great. When I couldn't finish everything, the staff were kind enough to provide me with a container to bring the rest home. Overall, it was a great experience! :)

It's very nice place for indian vegetarian food

The service was brilliant. We didn't feel rushed to make our order which gave us time for good conversation before eating. When we did decide to order, the food arrived promptly and was very tasty. I really recommend the coconut ice cream served in the coconut shell! The staff gave my fiance the very nice pot her ice cream was served in. He saw she liked them so much that he gave her another 2 while exiting. A great experienced and a well earned solid 5 star review from me

Poor quality of food, we only ordered chaat items and they were pretty bad.

Shayona has been our preferred place for gastric fulfillment after regular enlightenment at the Swaminarayan temple. The restaurant is vegetarian and the taste in unparalleled. One of the reasons we also prefer visiting is the courtesy of staff and the excellent governance provide by Mr Tej. 5 stars all the way.

As other posters have mentioned, this isn’t just a meal but an experience. Right next to the temple you are already transported to another world before entering! The food is flavoursome, staff helpful and welcoming we left happy and very full. The restaurant is popular with families who have visited the Temple. We Were there early on Saturday afternoon and walked in.

After visiting Temepl we were recommended to eat here. It was very well priced compared to central London. We were able to take the leftovers with us. The food was very tasteful and varied. The menu was exclusively vegetarian or vegan, which goes well with Hinduism as previously learned in the temple. We were advised that some foods are spicier than others. It was very great and authentic.

The most authentic Indian food we have tried in a very very long time. We were seated straight away, food was very quick to be brought out and the best chai out of the 5 restaurants/cafes we tried. High quality food and lovely setting/furniture with enjoying background music (quietly). Only marked down on service as the waitresses and waiters weren’t very friendly.

The restaurant stays busy due to the temple visitors next door. We hadn't booked in advance but managed to get a table after a short wait. The atmosphere is nice, service is good however it's let down by the food - the taste is a bland. Have visited here few years ago when it was really tasty but not a good experience this time.

The restaurant is a logical place to eat after visiting the Mandir. We have been there many times previously but I wonder if there is a different cook now. The food was very ordinary, even poor. Too much mustard in the raita, fried rice was like it had been made yesterday and heated, malai kofta curry a bit too sweet, veg jalfrezi way too tangy, sweet lassi way too sweet. The service was very good except that no one asked us for feedback on the food. We will not go back there.

Great restaurant with no onion/garlic options. It would be even better if they offered delivery through Uber Eats. I love the Matka Kulfi here. I have tried several other restaurants, but the Matka Kulfi available here is the best. They serve top-quality food. Thanks to Purvang and team for their patience whilst serving. We always go in groups, and they take good care of us. Purvang remembers what customers usually order and always tries to accommodate. He even remembers me by my Matka Kulfi, knowing it's my favorite. I think it would be great if they opened new branches. Thanks.

Shayona siempre ha sido uno de los mejores restaurantes de Saatvik en el Reino Unido y siempre han disfrutado de la variedad que se ofrece aquí. Lamentablemente, en las dos últimas visitas, se siente que los estándares están cayendo. Tuve uno de mis platos favoritos en la última visita, pero lamentablemente no era crujiente como se supone que es. Parecía como si no estuviera recién hecho y quizás hubiera estado sentado durante un tiempo antes de que se sirviera. Confíe en que la Administración se asegurará de que los estándares alcancen el rango más alto. Hagamos que sea lo mejor.

It is such a lovely cafe with amazing food for sale at excellent prices. We purchased some spring rolls and samosas, and they were delicious! There's also stores and a restaurant to dine located here, which I haven't been to, but judging by the cafe must be just as good!

No reservations so we were happy when we were given a table as it was busy. Very slow service , but food was tasty , portion size generous. Our waiter was happy to help with menu choices, which was appreciated .

The best dosa restaurant. The atmosphere here is so peaceful and it's a real haven. My family and I come here every week now because we love it so much. The staff have such a lovely way about them and the food is consistently delicious. It feels like you are eating a warm hug every time!

Disappointed at service and food. The lady who took our order was not friendly and it was a strain on her to take our order and also clear used plates. The aloo tikki tasted as if it was out of the freezer. Portions small. I am annoyed that I paid the service charge.

Always a warm welcome here, consistently tasty food, attentive service, and solid portion sizes. Prices feel reasonable considering all the above. The all-vegetarian menu is comprehensive, and I never find myself missing the option of getting a meaty dish. Parking is free and isn't an issue most of the time, but the car park can get a little busy if there is an event happening at the adjoining temple, for example. Well worth a visit. The food also travels surprisingly well if you're getting it delivered! Items are always thoughtfully packed and still taste great.

Excellent Service and delicious food - We celebrated my brother's 70th birthday here and the staff and the manager were very friendly, attentive and efficient. The family had a great time together. Loved the authentic food and it was not very oily which was great. Highly recommended for tea, snacks, dinner and lunch and if you have a group celebration - you will need to book in advance and make sure you arrive on time as this venue gets busy and is popular 10/10. Although we bought our own eggless cake, they still brought out a surprise ice-cream cake for the birthday boy! thanks once again :)

After having a great time in the Mandir we decided to go Shayona cafe to grab a quick snack. This is a place I have been coming to since I was little and I was appalled to see that the customer service has diminished. We ordered all our items and asked for Masala Chips for which the lady (Vaishali) said it would take 20mins. I then said okay that’s fine and we paid, sat down and nibbled on the other snacks we bought. 30mins went by and nothing came by which time I went to the till to enquire but the lady was busy talking to her friend that had come to visit. The friend had to tell Vaishali that there is a customer waiting to be served. I enquired about the time for the chips and immediately Vaishali became defensive and said that I did not order it. She started pacing up and down and talking down to me at a fast pace. I reminded her that you said it takes 20mins and I said yes that’s fine, she proceeded to show me the receipt (which she did not give me originally) and that she did not charge me for it. I was willing to say okay let me pay for it now but she proceeded and continued to tell me No. It’s just horrible to end a great time at the mandir with rude staff with a clear language / understanding barrier and lack of customer service know how. There was no apology or want or need to rectify the situation. Also the entire duration of ‘waiting’ for the chips, I could see that she is interested in doing her job and actually quite rude and lazy. The previous uncle that used to work there prior to the new renovated cafe was absolutely brilliant. Bring him back!!!!! Someone please train Vaishali to prevent more of these incidences!!!

Wonderfully authentic and delicious Indian food. Menu is inspired by both North and south Indian cuisine. A perfect pit-stop while visiting the BAPS Shri swaminarayan temple.

We visited yesterday as a family for lunch. They have a Indian superstore in the same premises and with plentiful parking(though as parking primarily is for the temple, parking might be full and blocked on event days). We ordered starters which were all great - kurkure bhindi (amazing), chilli chips (very flavorful), paneer sizzler(not so great, the sauce tasted of ketchup) and samosa chat (great). All the dishes served in this restaurant are made without onions and garlic, so that taste is missing, but nevertheless, the food is packed with flavour. Our little one had a cheese dosa with chutney and sambar (this was not good, probably a bad idea to order South Indian) We also ordered the weekend special - bajra rotla and aubergine mash, and steamed rice with okra kadhi, which was excellent! Vaghareli chaas and mango lassi were our choice of drink, both were yummy. And the mango kulfi at the end (made with Alphonso) was truly delicious!! Shopping at the Indian store next door is also a very peaceful and relaxed experience, as compared to shopping in Wembley. Only, you will not get any onions or garlic in the store either.

Ils sont peu épicés de base donc parfaits pour les palais sensibles. Service impeccable et rapport qualité prix imbattable. Il existe dans le même bâtiment un traiteur et une supérette.

Opulently decorated Indian restaurant located in close proximity to the Neasden temple, next to an Indian sweet shop. The menu is vast and the service friendly. Everything we ordered was delicious. Starters: Chilli Paneer Samosa Chaat Bombay Bhel Chilli mogo Bhinda/ okra Mains: Seitan curry. First time I ever tried this and it was better than a lot of chicken curries I’ve had. The menu described it as a ‘must try’ and I definitely agree. Highly recommend this restaurant!
