Desi Dhaba in Brent

We ordered a few things n the food wasn’t great it was soggy n it wasn’t cooked properly. The fact that I had STEEL (which they clean the dishes with) in the food and I almost ate it. r. Not only that there was a hair in our food. Honestly the worst visit ever.

Food is OK but missing that "je ne say quoi" if you know what I mean. Lamb kebab are good

No doubt service was quick and pleasant but food items we ordered were not as per the expectations. Only dish I like was tandoori chicken wings. Chicken lollipop were blunt and lamb pot ghost was soggy and tasteless.

We had pathetic experience with Desi Dhaba, waited there for 1hr to get the food but still the food was not ready and asked us to compromise with the food which is ready. We have to walk out without the food at the end. Highly not recommend, if you want to save your time!!

We order delivery. Food was too much salt, and veg biryani was awful ( not freshly cooked ). When I called the restaurant, they didn't bother to compensate even if they accepted it new ched fault, but no positive response. Funny things was she requested that the next order be more careful about it. So, after bad experience, do you think we order food same place? Thanks

Very tasty authentic North Indian non veg food and a great service. We loved it.

We went for dinner here on sunday, there was no one in restaurant and we were the only customers and we ordered dry manchurian they served us with gravy still we ate but it felt like it was not fresh and it tasted like eating stale food. We complained about it but chef was very rude to us and said it is what it is. We visit this place regularly but this time’s experience was very bad. Wasn’t expecting rather paying here more for bad quality i would suggest there are many new restaurants serving amazing quality and quantity with great service. Visit gujju dhaba, krishna restaurant, raaj darbar, sarvanna bhavan etc way better than this at present.

The food was really amazing and the staff members were very friendly. Although it was busy they provide a good service. The manger was very polite and helpful. Surely gonna visit again. Totally recommended for having the best Punjabi food.

We had Paneer Tikka Masala, Cheese Garlic Naan, Egg Tikhari and Buttermilk it was Lip-smacking. Waitress itself is very hardworking girl. Also the Manager is very friendly. Highly recommended the above mentioned food for spicy lovers and Indian Tadka.

We were waiting for a long time for our food. We ordered chicken tikka masala It was too much spicy even we didn’t eat. I mentioned the waitress it was spicy. She just apologised for that. When i asked bill they charged for the curry as well even we didn’t eat that. Waste of money

Don't prefer waste of money They provide two days old food and sometimes comes smell as well...they take advice payment if you don't wanna continue with them they don't return your money as well. totally bhul sheet....

All this time we had always ordered online from here, but today we ate in the restaurant and the experience was amazing. The chicken tikka on the sizzling plate was juicy and sumptuous. Had my favourite Mumbai combination of chilli chicken and roti, the chicken was perfectly spiced and typical Indochinese taste and the fresh baked Rotis with it just transported me back to my Mumbai. Seekh Kabab again was juicy and luscious. Lassi was perfect consistency, not too thick not too watery. But the cherry on the cake was the awesome gajar halwa, it tasted just like the homemade, one with milk not khoya, just the way we like it. Vijay, the manager, and his team are very good hosts, soft-spoken and ever attentive. It was overall an awesome experience. Highly recommended!!

Without point I will not share my comment that's why I will give you 1point I will take away at midnight zero taste no flavor shahi panner only red color...egg bhurji experience is like ounce and you taste you don't eat again egg items ...dal was only water not cook poper in dal zeera was swimming very very very bad taste and my experience..my money was totally waste.

We went to desi dhaba for a birthday dinner, the food was really good, highly recommend the lamb chop curry (specials) and Jalander chicken. Kids loved the butter chicken and soft fresh naan too. Lamb samosas were definitely the best I’ve ever had!

Today I visited this restaurant for dinner and it was the great experience, food was too good and served fresh moreover all the food items served hot and it was delicious. Even the staff specifically Vidarshi and Vijay.

It was really good experience here. Food is tasty with perfect Indian spices and specially desi panner tikka is very good and staff is very kind and humble.

Very good food.The place was spotless and the staff were very pleasant and attentive.

The food was below average and the staff was also slow and lazy and rude at times. We ordered Indian style for which was half as good as the stores that are nearby.

I asked the server before sitting down if they had gluten free options and he said yes so we decided to sit down. I'm also lactose intolerant and can't have garlic and onions he said this was not a problem but then when you look at the menu majority of it says it contains gluten or milk or both. The few options that I thought would be OK as it didn't say gluten or milk on it when he asked the chef they said it does contain gluten which is not clear at all because then why does it not say that on the menu. In the end all I could eat was a plain plate of moggo chips I did order the garlic moggo and requested to just not put garlic but the chilli and ginger is fine at least I'll have some flavour. But for some reason they came plain and I was just hungry and fed up at this point so I ate it. Very disappointing. My husband ordered an indo Chinese dish and he really enjoyed it. It's a shame that they could not accommodate me or been clear from the get go that there's nothing to eat here because I wouldn't have wasted my time. I only went there because I have eaten their few years ago prior to learning about my intolerances and knew it is great food there. They definitely need to improve their options for people with allergies as it's no point just listing them all but not offering an alternative to eat

Avoid, avoid, avoid! One of the worst Indian meals I think I have ever eaten. Have only added 1 star because I have had to to submit this. So salty, everything was inedible, can’t quite believe it. I only wish I hadn’t trusted the star rating and had read the last review of a month ago that said the same thing. This really ruined our Divali. Bathrooms were overflowing with used nappies and sanitary towels, health & safety would have shut it down straight away on that alone. Menus dirty and tables sticky, and service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. If you are happy for your entire meal to come for the next Divali then that’s how long you might have to wait for such simple things as popadoms and water let alone your meal! I spoke to many who left this place who did not enjoy it. So don’t believe the stars but read the reviews, and don’t patronise your customers by saying that it’s suppose to taste like that, salt is not spice! And as a london resident that lives and eats all over this city we know our Indian food well, cook it at home have friends and family that are from India and love spice. The waiter wouldn’t even try the paratha when I asked him to to see just how much salt the chef had used, inedible and fit for the bin am afraid. Such a sad start to our evening, but as we left we went straight to Southall and ended our dinner with an incredible desert at a much better establishment.

Me and my friends went there yesterday I ordered Shahi paneer and Garlic naan with buttermilk and my friends went for non veg options like fish curry and chicken biryani Food was awesome for my side my friends had little complaints about the taste of the biryani but for that reason our server (I don't remember the name properly but maybe it's Vijay...) He handled the situation so well and promised that it would not happen next time... The overall experience was amazing... Loved it

The food was good but the service was really bad. From the minute we walked in the waiters had us standing for a few mins before showing us to a table. They gave us one menu to share between three people,When we ordered a mixed platter ,we had to ask for sauces when it should have been complimentary and came with the platter. The waiters that was serving us didn't bother coming to check on us and ,we had to walk up to them at the end to get their attention to pay the bill.

The service of Desi dabha is getting waste from past few months. Today I ordered online food and it was spread all over. I would not able to eat that food. I just throw whole bag. It is very disappointing, I recommend not to ordered food from Desi dabha. Also the service and quality of the restaurant is getting poor.

I was talking to Sid the manager at Desi Dhaba in Alperton in the evening times he was very cooperative & understanding because of what had happened with our order from Just Eat My order was just cancelled & my partner & I decided to pick up our order & contacted the restaurant to make sure they was still preparing the order & they was Sid even gave my partner & I a 10 % discount off our order because of the mistake from Just Eat he didn't need to do that The food is absolutely delicious & I would recommend family & friends to check out Desi Dhaba & we will definitely order more delicious treats again

I’m that white person who will leave a bad review because food was too spicy with no flavour, tooo much oil and too salty. I’ve been to India many times, I’ve eaten Indian food and I live with Indian people. I KNOW what Indian food should taste like on a level some Indians don’t know, didn’t try and will not try. Their chilli paneer was an insult - worse I’ve tried in my life. I’ve never seen paneer cut in such tiny tiny pieces and it was swimming in oil. If you do not have enough paneer - say you do not have it instead of serving this embarrassment! -butter chicken was waaaay too salty - lamb curry was ok ish, but flavour was killed with spice Also what is Chandigarh chicken or what ever dish that was lol. I’ve been to Chandigarh there and there is no such thing. Weird place - do not recommend.

Would give minus if I could, originally delivered wrong order as they didn’t put my name on order. Food delivered was not something I would eat or anywhere near what I paid for. Although took a long time to find someone at the store they told me to reorder a chapati and they would refund the delivery fee. More lies and repeat was also not labelled. A lot of the food was disgusting and inedible.

Service is little not well because i order garlic nan and they give me chilli nan, i realized after they give me bill. Moreover, I ask for menu twice but they forgot about and i ask 3rd time then they gave me. So i hope when i visit next time they'll take care about it and not only for me but also for every customer. This is a highly recommended restaurant the food is spot on and the service is amazing. The atmosphere will take you back to Punjab either if you’re from India or Pakistan it would matter. The chai is for to die for amazing guys thank you!

Very authentic Punjabi dhaba, feels like you’re in Punjab. The kadhi and aloo parantha is super delicious. A must try for anyone who misses home food or to give a true impression of great Indian food.

Well, I ordered chole buature, panjabi samosa and it was good and first time I'm trying all those food though. They gave complementary papads with chetney I really liked the chetney. I guess I was unlucky because I couldn't enjoy any of that. The guy who was sitting next to my table was started PIDs and nobody no what to do there. I gave my keys to put in his hands and told the staff to call emergency immediately. Anyways that was fine I guess the staff handled it very well. All in all the desi vibe is good food is good. I'm definitely going to visit again to enjoy the chole bhature!

I saw this little restaurant in the Ealing Road, Alperton and went in to try their Stretford. I chose the Punjabi Samosas (2 for £3.50) and waited a few minutes for the freshly prepared ones. They were really excellent, good mansize, nice pastry, hearty filling and with a small tub of a tamarind like sauce. I will definitely return for an evening meal to try some more veg dishes and also their lamb dishes, probably the Biryani. It is a small restaurant with some amusing artwork of Asian "puns" on the wall. Nearby Alperton tube station and several bus routes.

We absolutely loved it for their Cheese Chilly Naan. The starters were superb and Shahi Paneer was fantastic. Vegetable Subzi was below par but friendless of staff covered it up. Very cheerful guy at the counter and taking orders.

USEFUL REVIEW FOR DESHI DHABA ALPTERN; Today we placed a large expensive phone order for the family as we have not seen each other in a very long time. When we open the container it was filled with a minimum quantity and it was really poor quality. We only noticed once we returned home and attempted to call back with no answer. I will attach some pictures of proof you can see below it was really disappointing. We ordered more food from the nearest restaurant, didn't expect that ruin our party.
