The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Ordered £80+ of food for birthday celebration, delivered by Just Eat (a great delivery guy, friendly & polite) The food was excessively oily, parathas which are usually dry fried, were dripping in oil as if they'd been deep fried, had to bin them as totally inedible ( a waste of £15 on parathas). So disappointing as food previously purchased used to be nice

We have been going to the Shapla for years. Always serves delicious food to eat in and take away. Very friendly and efficient service.

We have used the delivery service for about 5 years as we live outside of Newbury. The service and standard of food has become appalling!! They over promise on delivery time, the food is then stone cold !! Very disappointing we will now look else where ! The curry cave is a better option!!

First visit and Mifa’s did not disappoint, I had the Special Mix Biriani beautiful food . The staff were very friendly and made me feel welcome on my first visit. Will definitely visit again Thank you!

Nice food. Would have given 5 stars but the jalfrezi lacked any heat.

One of the cartons was damaged so had lost some of the sauce and the nan breads are on the smaller side so make sure you get more than you think you need BUT I wasn’t that bothered as the food was delicious.

Quick pleasant service, friendly and helpful staff, Food really tasty and tender fall apart on your cutlery, onion bhajis highly recommended

Based on order for delivery, this is the second and last time we use them. First order a good while ago was horrendously late and not seemingly bothered by that. Order on New year's eve was placed well over an hour before we wanted it delivered, but it missed the delivery slot and when checked, hadn't even been prepped. Delivery promised within a further 20 minutes, but it still hadn't been sent over half an hour later. Can't cancel order, so will have to claim via PayPal which takes weeks

Excellent food and friendly staff. Always go back even with prices slightly more than some competitors.

Fuimos aquí el sábado 23 de noviembre, hemos estado en este lugar un montón de veces antes y por desgracia esta última visita fue muy decepcionante, la comida y el servicio era solo promedio. Normalmente la comida y el servicio es normalmente excelente, así que nos quedamos muy sorprendidos de las cosas en esta última visita. Esperemos que si decidimos ir de nuevo las cosas vayan mejor.

He estado pidiendo desde aquí por un par de años siempre dijo que no hacemos carne halal, ya que no la tocaré, solo fui a pedir y me dijeron que sí, nuestra carne es halal, así que ahora estará reportando a los estándares comerciales por publicidad falsa.

Ordered a takeaway and waited and waited, so called them and found out that they had delivered. However, they had left it on the doorstep in the rain for over 20 minutes and thought that was acceptable. When the driver came back, he said that we never answered the door. We were sat in the living room and had heard nothing.
