Curry Garden in Central Bedfordshire

When I finally got the food it was cold. Am very disappointed as it is my favourite Asian restaurant. Never had this issues before. Don’t know what happen this time.

Every time I visit my old home town I have to visit the “Curry Garden” Always excellent service and consistent food of the highest standards. It’s staff are super friendly,, professional and polite. Never had a bad meal and always satisfied with both service and the culinary experience! Worth the trip if you live with a reasonable distance.

Always a great meal with super service. Been coming here since it opened (I was a boy then) and Curry Garden remains superb

Banquet Night was an enjoyable experience on a Wednesday evening. I was thinking of getting a takeaway but with the value of the banquet night £15.95 Starter Main Side and either a nan or rice it was a better option.

A much improved food this time and was happy with the food and a nice touch giving a free beer much appreciated

All meats was over cooked and to tough to chew, sauce was cold popadoms was stale, only okay thing was sagg paneer, keema naan meat cold bread wet and dry. Paid £50 to have sauce and rice fumming.

The food is crap, it is not Indian. I have worked all around the world and had many curries, in at least 15 countries. You get a better curry in a supermarket jar. If you want a first class meal, go to the Cinnamon Lounge Houghton Regis.

This is our favourite Curry Restaurant. The food is always excellent and competitively priced. The staff are always very welcoming and extremely friendly. This restaurant is thoroughly recommended.

Always amazing food here, wish they still handed out the roses that was a lovely touch. Not one complaint, service is always great, food comes quickly, very attentive to all guests. Cutlery always clean and polished. 10/10.

The good had no taste. Biryani only had the flavour of burnt onions. Curry very bland. Mint sauce has weird flavour. Utter disappointment. Especially for the price

Slightly disappointed as the dinner was cold, the chicken appeared cold, and the poppadoms were stale not sure I would be happy to order there again unfortunately.

Good food at a reasonable price, service was a little slow, had 3 different waiters. Layout of restaurant means it is a little tight on space. Restaurant was full early Saturday evening. Compares favourably on price with competitors but feeling a bit tight for space. Would eat there again.

OK but needs more flavour quite bland

Nice food and staff but very noisy, Gourmet night changed from £12.95 to £14.95 plus £1.50 on 3/4 of the mains as they were 'specials' £16.50 really

Food was very late, even though we had ordered a couple of hours in advance. It then seemed to take 45 minutes to arrive once the app notified me it was on its way. No surprise, it was then really cold

Decided to try after reading the reviews for a mid week takeaway treat. Sadly it was not good. The food was bland lacked flavour and was luke warm. The portion sizes were small and it was a very disappointing meal all round. Unfortunately I wont be returning.

Been a customer here for years now after originally visiting with my parents now my partner, it’s our favourite place to go on date nights. The older gentleman is very kind and always seems happy to chat and have a joke. Very refreshing to see friendly people serving lovely food. Tikka masala starter is my favourite, all the details are there for eg: hot plate, food wheeled out on a tray, feels like you are being treated like kings and queens

I have been to this restaurant many times over the years i have lived nearby and it has never let me down . the food ,service and surrounding are always good . they do not go in for rustic , more class and pristine tablecloths is more the style their customers prefer and they deliver here .The waiters are charming and helpful . they have kept going despite problems that the country has had , long may they do so.

Neither of the meals had much flavour. Very disappointed as the meals are normally very good.

Paneer isn’t a melted cheese,keep in your mind instead of telling us that you are in rush to close your restaurant,worst restaurant worst customer service. Tryna teach me that paneer is melted cheese

This establishment doesn't even deserve a single star. They are misleading the public regarding their paneer melts. I ordered matar paneer, only to discover there was no paneer in it. When I returned to address the issue with the elderly waiter, he insisted that paneer melts by default, and if I wanted cubes, I should have specified it in the notes. In all my years, I've never heard of paneer supposedly melting, and it's absurd that you need to inform the restaurant to get cubes. It seems like they lack knowledge and tried to convince me that paneer melts, which is ridiculous. I strongly advise against visiting this place. I also returned to have my garlic naan reheated, but they returned it to me after 2 minutes, and it was still cold. The customer service is terrible. Their main concern was shutting down the restaurant .

I have been here a few times now, Nice little restaurant for family or just meeting with friends. Staff always friendly, will alter a dish to your liking. Would recommend.

Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Extremely grumpy delivery driver. Also chewing on a tooth pick when delivery made, not professional or pleasant at all.

Yet again another awesome meal. Food is truly authentic and of very high quality. The staff and ambience create a truly lovely experience. Thank you.

My family have been enjoying Curry Garden's food for as long as I have been alive! 30+ years! And we rarely find anywhere else as good. We mostly opt for the veggie options but the meat eaters of the family highly enjoy their meals too! Thank you Curry Garden!!!

The restaurant has been there a very long time it's a family run business and the food quality and service is always good and has never dropped its standards . If you wonder why I haven't given 5star it's because I would have to eat in there every night to be sure but as much as I love the food there it's pushing it a bit far . Hope this helps .

Arrived half an hour after the app said driver on the way. Rice, naan and bhajis were cold, poppadoms stale and all the cartons were covered in oil in the bag. We've been ordering the chicken tikka bhuna/balti for years and they've changed it, chicken not the same and the sauce is almost like jelly. Also they've halved the size of the mains. Not sure what's happened but we won't be ordering again anytime soon.

Whenever visiting friends in Dunstable we always go here for a curry. Great fresh popadoms and this time a tasty mixed grill with tarka dahl which is always my curry house benchmark. Well worth a visit and reasonably priced.

Whether you eat in their restaurant or get a takeaway, Curry garden will produce the most delicious and fresh authentic Food. Chicken tikka Masala And tandoori mixed grill are our favourites. Also Chicken vindaloo is a favourite. I also will say that this is the best value prices for food around.

Recently swapped to curry garden and it was the best decision! Both orders so far have been perfectly cooked and very tasty. 👍🏼

Well it was 30 minutes late but worth waiting for food first class will certainly order again but hopefully I don’t wait so long. The app didn’t seem to update me very well ,as it said driver on his way at 19.35 and got here at 20.00 it only takes me 10 minutes at most from the restaurant to my house but all good thank you.

For a restaurant named CURRY GARDEN", it was strange, to an Indian's palate may I say, to find the food all spiced- with a sugary aftertaste. Not one or two dishes, but in everything we tasted. The vegetable dishes, the biryani, everything. The only saving grace was the Naan rotis and Pilau Rice, which was NOT sugary. The menu does not even mention MILD, MEDIUM or HOT dishes, nor is there a description of how it's cooked (like mentioning that their highly overpriced meat biryani has raisins in it...)

Prawn puree delivered. Freezing cold had to throw it away. Called the restaurant, can't refund have to go in or hope they remember me next time I order for a free one.

Good quality ingredients, unlike more normal restaurant if you buy a couple of mains hoping to stretch a portion of rice to cover both you may need to order two.

Phoned the restaraunt when my order wasn’t delivered and was blatantly lied to. Will never use them again.

First time we ordered from here- and it’s not the last. Great food, really hot. Only small gripe it was early- but hey that’s not the end of the world

The driver was “on his way” for 45 minutes when it is a 10 minute drive. Also everyone commented that their meal was bland. It is a shame as I have heard it’s normally good.

This has been my ONLY go to place for authentic Asian food for 20yrs. Superb food, excellent customer service and that extra touch that makes you feel this long established eatery has got it just right.

Food arrived very late we called the restaurant to see where our food was as we are literally 5 minutes down the road and they weren’t very helpful , food was cold and had to reheat

Took 23 minutes to be delivered from time text to say order was on its way received until order arrived on last minute of estimated delivery time. Food lukewarm. Lamb was tenderish but sauce very thick with minimal flavour. No paneer visible in mutter paneer. Aloo gobi passable. Rice needed some salt but will order plain pilau next time as the lychees were too sweet for my taste. Very nice bag.

A brilliant place to eat!! Every time we’ve visited the restaurant the staff and owner have been unbelievable welcoming. My teenager daughter is the fussiest eater on the planet and she loves the food particularly the meat samosas!!

Would never order from here again. Firstly I ordered two raitha one cucumber one onion. What I received was two lots of sour yogurt, absolutely not one bit of cucumber or onion. Vile and binned. That’s one lazy useless chef. Ordered two different mild curries and both were exactly the same. Change your lazy chef, used to be good here. I could put more flavour and authenticity in what I cook. Shameful

Did not liked the way they treated us.. they just wanted us to finish and leave the restaurant.. I think they did not liked that we ordered only limited items and not on their recommendations... Felt like they will only treat well to those customers who want to spend more... Food was good though.

Apart from the fact we were charged £42 for 12 glasses of flat lemonade, which left a bad taste in our mouth, the food was awful and most of us had diahorrea overnight. The chicken salad consisted of old lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes and bizarrely Peas. Everything, other than the popadoms was awful. The sag paneer was just liquid. I can not stress how awful this experience was. On the plus side the staff were lovely.

The Korma was quite tastless and the chicken very dry, however the lamb dish was very tasty and the lamb lovely and tender, so very much mixed bag.

I have been going to Curry Garden for years. I have never had a bad meal. They are always consistent and the food is so good. I would advise you to either eat in or collect your takeaway as they get really busy and this means that deliveries can take a long time. You are better off collecting. Best Curry in Dunstable.

Chicken was over cooked extremely chewy,the prawn starter was disgusting.To put it Bluntly I wouldn’t feed this to my dog!
