Lovely food, great service and reasonable price. The staff are very friendly. Service was reasonably quick and the food was delicious.

Nice food, staff great but let down by vegan meal having meat in it! They did replace but no apology for mix up. I'm not sure what else to write, but review has to be 100 characters..

I had an amazing experience at this place while traveling to London with my Indian kid who insisted on having only Indian food. We stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant where the receptionist went out of their way to accommodate our request for ghee and plain daal. Although I had reservations, the food surpassed my expectations; it was truly delicious. The thoughtful touch of serving two types of rice - one plain with ghee and the other colorful and ghee-infused - ensured that my kid thoroughly enjoyed the meal. We're absolutely delighted and I wholeheartedly recommend this place. Their kindness and the quality of food make it a must-visit. I'm already looking forward to returning someday.

The New Manager is rude abusive and swore at me at front of house due to making an error with our booking due to his untrained team. DON'T GO HERE Apparently he likes to scream at top of his voice announcing I'M THE F*#KING BOSS HERE...Poor!

The New Bosses attitude is appalling, we were misadvised and due to our annoyance as customers do we kicked off. His pride was wounded and due to this despite us being the ones misadvised by them we're banned from my local. He swore quite openly in the restaurant pointing to himself saying yeah I'm the boss here now...disgusting bring Mautin back!

Worst curry I think I've ever had. Neither of our currys had any flavour at all, and a very strange texture. The saag paneer had a couple of pieces of paneer in and was overly saucy. The poppadoms and naan were alright, and staff very friendly.

Banquet Night Food was absolutely epic. Best we’ve had in a while and we love a good curry. Service was awful (attentive, but awful). Tried our best to smile at the staff and compliment them on the food, but they were just so unfriendly. Such a shame. If they had have been even just a bit friendly we would totally be giving 5/5. If you like a decent curry but don’t care about a friendly service then this is the place for you. No offer of the promised coffee either. Did get a chocolate each with the bill though.

Having had many excellent curries at the sister restaurant in Buckingham - Red Chilli Gold - we expected a similar experience at Toddington Red Chilli but how disappointed we were. The whole experience was underwhelming, just two staff grappling with restaurant, bar and takeaway orders. Our respective curries just didn't cut it - both meals bland and uninteresting. I'm assuming the kitchen was having a bad day - we all know the feeling - however we shall be making a return visit to hopefully enjoy a much better restaurant atmosphere and curry.

Always a reliable place for a good curry. Lamb Tikka Masala, decent bit of lamb and always very tasty.

Had a lovely meal while staying in the area. Staff were friendly and food was delicious! I had the veggie thali as I wanted to try a little of everything. Portions were huge so ended up taking leftovers away with us to have for lunch the following day - just as delicious! Thanks Red Chilli :)

Food was delivered over 30 minutes late, had to chase and part of order missing. Phoned them and agreed a part refund but they didn't come back. A shame as the rest of the food was good

Wanted to take my fiancé for a nice quiet meal and decided on this this restaurant. We sat at our table and about an hour later they took our main order however in the meantime the phones kept ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing very loud and customers were shouting answer the phones or turn them off and the owner just ignored the customers which we felt was very rude!.The service was appalling and the food was shocking!. I think it’s time for chilli owners to step down and let a new management in because they certainly don’t care or respect their customers one bit. Spoilt our NEW YEAR and many others that evening. They should be ashamed of themselves and respect their customers. Would never return.

So awful experience with the staff. They were behaving very badly and insulted us. We were 5 people who came to have food and this was their behaviour. So we quickly cancelled the plan. So unhappy woth this place. Will never recommend to anyone

The Luton Red Chilli has a good reputation so hoped this was as good. Unfortunately the take away was very poor worst curry I have ever had. The onion bhajis were greasy and undercooked so very doughy. The vegetable side dishes very bland, like stew. My chicken pathia was so salty it was inedible my mouth felt bad the following day, I only managed half before throwing the rest away. Was very disappointed as was hoping to make this my regular curry house. Instead will never order from here again.

Very poor service from you guys tonight. Food ordered for our family at 6pm with estimated delivery 7-7.30pm. 7.45 pm no food and told delivery within 10 minutes 8.30pm food finally arrived .such a shame your food is very good but your service cannot be relied on this evening.

Food was fantastic, they are following current restrictions well and very friendly customer service. Normally we don't venture much from where we usually go, but we did tonight - very glad we did!

After being a long serving customer for many years. It turns up cold and the delivery man didn't have a receipt. So I asked him how much and he just made up a price. I then check on their menu and they have over charged me £5.60. They also said they will not reimburse me my hard earned money. I would urge anyone who orders from here to double check the prices! I will NOT be ordering from them ever again. The service is rude and not what I expect at the prices they charge

Fantastic. Food was delicious and excellently presented. Service was friendly and nice environment. Tip to pre book as this place is very popular. They go the extra mile, nice hot towels, after-meal sweets and even gave the ladies a rose!

Had dinner for 2 midweek - food and service very good - floor was a bit sticky underfoot otherwise 5 star food. Particularly recommend the Seek kebab, best I have had in a long time. Staff gave us a ride to our hotel, which was a nice touch.

Friendly service and good selection of dips to accompany your pappadum’s. Mixed kebab starters were nice and the onion banji that’s served with it goes really well and makes a nice change from just getting mixed meats. The main course was a huge let down the biryani had no flavour what so ever and the lamb was over cooked and dry. The vegetables curry that came with the biryani als lacked any flavour, it had a spicy kick which is what I asked for but tasted of nothing. Honestly I may as well have ordered plain boiled rice as that’s all it tasted off. It was the worst biryani I’ve ever eaten in fact all I ate was the meat and left the rest. I told the waiter but he didn’t do anything or even offer to discount it off the bill which I felt was the least that should have Ben done. It was the first tome we’ve been here and will be the last. Such a shame as it’s quite local to us and we have been to the other red chilli and had a lovely meal. Disappointing and unfortunately will not recommend.

This is a lovey curry house. Good service, small and somehow more cosy than the larger restaurants. We are very lucky to have it in Toddington

So I'm in the area for work and wanted a decent hot meal, had a search on google and the review of this place looked good. Turned up on without booking and I'd say we were lucky to get the table as it was crammed (the place is quite small). The food was outstanding, best nann bread I've ever had, the curry was bursting with flavour and really good quality. Service from the staff was top notch and I'd have left it tip if I wasn't paying on the works card (sorry guys). As for value it was incredible, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday it's £10.95 for a starter, main, side dish, rice or nann and a coffee! The portions were fantastic too. All in all I'd recommend this place 100% and will be back here next time I'm in the area.

Off the beaten track, we went on spec and was really surprised. Had a lot of good Indian meals and this ranks as one of the highest, food was of a very high quality. When you get fresh poppadoms with good pickles you start to realise that the meal will go well, and the wide variety on the menu pointed the way to a high quality meal that I really enjoyed. A great find, and a total surprise as I have never eaten in Toddington before.

Amazing indian, went for first time tonight with my family and we all enjoyed it very much, great staff and great food, think it's our new local 😉

We stopped here and popped in without booking a table.The staff were great they accommodated us albeit for an hour due to them being fully booked this was fine for us after our long drive.Some food was recommended to us which we had and we were taken back by how good the food was.However if you visit this restaurant be sure to book in advance.

This has to be the very best Indian Bangladeshi Restaurant in the South of Birmingham. It is so authentic it's a real gem. A taste of how curry should taste. Keep it up guys!

Was staying locally for a couple of nights so popped in to order a takeaway for my family. I paid and was asked to sit and wait. While waiting it became very clear that some customers were afforded a greater level of courtesy and politeness from the staff. Locals, regulars and those driving a Mercedes or Bentley seemed to be greeted like family, while I barely got a hello. This all came to its peak when 2 couples arrived. They were offered two tables, which were both refused. They then just sat next to me and loudly proclaimed that "he's just waiting, he can move". No attempt at a request or discussion. I was taken aback and looked to the staff for support as they had already tried to have the 4 curlatomers sit at other empty tables. Instead, by way of hand gestures I was ushered to move. Even at that point the staff didn't feel I was worthy of a conversation, request or basic courtesy.

Had a lovely meal here while we stayed at Toddington and we had a good discount as we stayed there ! We will go there again as it’s a good way to break a long journey .

Always great food and friendly service. Very supportive of my wife's dietary requirements and prepare ingredients from scratch if necessary. The Tandoori Jumbo Tiger Prawns is well worth a try.

My friend and I live near to Spalding and we came to toddington as we were on a trip to Woburn Safari Park. I have been in this restaurant before and happy to say that the service and food are excellent. We went on Tuesday Banquest night. The waiters offered up Popadum and pikles - We got two pops and there were 6 pickes and very plentiful. We had starters of Lamb chops and a Tandoori bhaji then - both lovley. Followed by Chicken tikka Massala and a Chefs specail main dish. We both had rice and side dishes of Saag Bhaji and garlic mushrooms. also we ordered a Peshawai nan to share. Our drinks were 2 glass of wine and a pint of Cobra. We finished out lovely meal with the waiter bringing us coffee each and liquers also a rose each and chocolates. How much? - £39.40 Absolutly well done - see you again in the spring.

Hmm its was ok. Food ok. Service ok. No atmosphere though.

I ordered a takeaway to see what their food was like. I saw that if you collected you got a discount if you spent £15. As it was just food for myself I worked out with the discount it would come to around £12/13. When I arrived the guy was very abrupt and said it was £16.40 with the discount. I queried this as the prices are clearly stated on their menu but he said it was correct with the discount taken off. I can only assume their either overcharged me or added in additional items like popadoms and chutney I hadn't asked for so they could charge more. The food was awful, I have never had an Indian thar tasted so bland. The garlic rice was swimming in yellow grease and needed seasoning. The chicken tikka masala was so bland, it had no flavour and the chicken pieces were tiny. I never add salt to my food but this was just dire. The best items in the meal were the popadoms and nan bread!! Bad service, bad food - do not waste your money!

Decided to try Red Chilli after a recommendation from a local shop. The restaurant is quite small, probably about 40 seats, if it was really busy I can see it being a bit claustrophobic & noisy.

Ordered a korma and got some coconut dish which they tried to pass off as korma! Told me that korma was very coconuty! Have you had takeaways from here? Yes I said! Korma as well and it’s not like that! Won’t come back here! Disgusting service and attitude!

We booked a table at 8.00pm (they chose the time when I booked). We arrived at 7.55 and we're asked to wait despit there being an empty table. There was nowhere anywhere else to sit and several customers waiting for takeaways. We had to stand for 20 minutes whilst being jostled by customers and waiters before we were shown to the table which had not been cleaned and had a dirty table cloth from the previous customer.

Good, authentic and well prepared food in a cosy restaurant at reasonable prices and with friendly service

Visited on Tuesday 07/08, gourmet night . I am a regular visitor to this restaurant & this was the worst night we have had in there by far.

We used to visit on a regular basis as a family and had many great nights. The food is great and service too.

Our family of 4 popped in for a Wednesday evening Gourmet Night. Lovely poppadoms with 6 bowls of toppings, followed by tasty starters & generous portions of main courses. Mountains of very tasty, great value food. This was our first visit & we will be returning. As we are close to Luton, there is no shortage of good Indian restaurants, I think we will become regulars of this one.

Went in for a takeaway late at night, staff were very helpful and friendly food was cooked in good time, and it tasted great! Dare I say best Biriani I've had! Would strongly recommend, and will be returning for a sit down meal!

In Google's star rating words "it was OK". Had the HOT Bangla Chicken with the description "WARNING! extremely hot tandoori chicken fillets." No - it wasn't. It was fresh and tasted good, but far from hot. Lamb Rogan Josh was OK too - but nothing special. Would recommend if stuck in Toddington for a curry, but wouldn't travel far to be here.

Went here again last week with the girls, great night as usual.

Started with poppadums and sauces and part way through we were asked to place orders for mains. The sauces were taken away along with my plate before my friend had finished eating- a massive no in my mind! The mains were dished up quickly afterso we felt they had cooked them too quickly and couldn’t wait to dish them up. Although tasty, the food wasn’t outstanding. I ordered a second glass of wine, stating I wanted the same as before. I was given a different wine which wasn’t as nice. We ordered coffee and had a chat, the bill was out in the table before asking for it. Then the guy came over with a card machine to take the money without any prompting. Generally no real customer service. Wouldn’t recommend or return.

Pretty good grub. Didn't venture too far from my normal selection, but what was served was decent. This was after half a dozen pints, so that always helps to sharpen the indian taste buds.

I'm not a complainer by nature, indeed I love to give good reviews on TA, but having had the third consecutive disappointing meal from Red Chilli feel compelled to write a review. Having eaten here regularly for some years, I have always been delighted with the quality of the food and service. But the last three occasions have resulted in much lower quality food and service than I have come to expect. The last sit down meal was slow, bland and my companion felt he needed to complain about the vegetarian dish which was bulked out with far too much potato. The following occasion was a take away for myself and my family which was again bland. Last weekend we thought we'd give it another go - the food was delivered after over 1.5 hrs (having been told it would be 1 hr) and what was delivered was again bland and unsatisfying - all three dishes (a chicken dansak, chutney and jalfrezi) looked and tasted the same with only the amount of chillies varying and even these made no difference to the taste. In fact it seemed to be exactly the same as the previous occasion when it was Mogul Nawaz. The accompanying side dishes were greasy and unappetising. So a two spot review - one for arriving at all and one for it being edible - but not enjoyable. I don't whether there have been changes in the kitchen or menu but something here needs to change to get back to the successful meals I had previously enjoyed. Bearing in mind that they're not the cheapest around, the next time I want an Indian meal I'm not sure it'll be from here, much as it pains me to say it...

We regularly eat at Red Chili whenever we go for a curry. The place is not the cheapest but you definitely get what you pay for. One thing I hate is ordering a curry and it being oily. This is never an issue with Red Chilli as the food is always well cooked.

Small but cosy and friendly. They do a banquet night on Monday - Thursday the great value. The peri Peri chicken is beautiful but honestly they whole menu is great.
