Ordered a takeaway away which was delivered within good time. So you would expect some of the food to be warm. This was not the case. Ordered a sag paneer between 4 of us and somehow only received 3 pieces of cheese between us. Flavour was not there and I honestly cannot think of one thing I would recommend for this restaurant

Food was very cold when it arrived, and we both agreed very bland and generic tasting. The Sag paneer was mostly liquid with 4 tiny chunks of cheese in. Would not go here again.

Have ordered before and always really nice. The poppadoms were so fresh they were lovely.

Another disappointing experience from a Leighton Buzzard curry house, and this time it cost £27 for what can only be described as Christmas Eve garbage. I specifically asked for butter chicken, and the server smiled and nodded as if he understood. What I received was essentially a sweet chicken korma. Newsflash: butter chicken does not contain coconut milk! It was absolutely terrible and not even close to what I ordered. The vegetable masala was a watery, flavorless mess. The garlic rice was the only thing that was halfway decent. No popadoms were included, which was disappointing given the price. The keema naan had no meat whatsoever, which defeats the purpose of ordering keema naan. The cheese naan was just odd—definitely not the standard cheesy, gooey treat you’d expect. This place would close down in any other town, but the locals here just don’t know any better. A total waste of money. Avoid if you have even a shred of expectation for decent Indian food.

After being a loyal customer for several years I’ve sadly watched this restaurant slowly deteriorating. Tonight was the final straw - meat flies swarming the restaurant and toilets - definitely won’t be going again!

Tasty food, but what let it down was that it was all delivered cold.

Nice restaurant but! Freezing cold ❄️ in there, no soap or running hot water in the toilets, hot air hand drier not working and no hand towel to dry your hands after a cold no soap hand wash. How has this place got a 5 star hygiene rating is beyond me. Paid for our starter and left.

Good lamb amazing usually the lamb at restaurants isn't that good I have been here twice now the second time I had the lamb jalfrazi and the first time I went to this restaurant had the Hyderabadi lamb bhuna ghost. I am surprised it was good

I came here with a bunch of friends as we hadn't seen each other for a while. We were promptly served drinks by the friendly staff, they left us to look at the menu and didn't try and rush us, they were very happy to make recommendations as well. We all had starters and everyone thoroughly enjoyed theirs. Mains, sides, naans and rice were efficiently delivered to the table as well as refills for glasses. Everything I tried was delicious and perfectly spiced. After we had finished they were happy for us to have another drink and just carry on chatting at the table. Very welcoming and value for money. We'll definitely return.

We had a very disappointing experience with our food. The onion barjee was over cooked and dry. The cheese and onion nann bread was undercooked and doughy and inedible. Mushroom rice was a joke - someone cut a small mushroom into tiny pieces and sold it as mushroom rice. The chicken in both the balti and korma dish was dry and over cooked and stringy. Spent nearly £40 on the meal and was frustrated and annoyed by the lack of quality. Couldn’t get through on phone to restaurant to complain!

Really disappointing food, lacking any flavour and character you’d expect from an Indian. It was quite delayed so cold as well.

Since Covid and my other favourite Indian slipping badly in status this have been my go to Indian. BUT ...... The chicken used to be succulent and moist,sadly the last three meals i have had from here the chicken has been tough and dry. This has really spoilt what otherwise has been a tasty meal. But as it is the main contituent the quality of the chicken has let the meal down badly. Please sort it out guys. Otherwise i think it will not only be me considering going elsewhere!!

Rude staff, hovered around pushing food we didn’t want and getting grumpy when some of us turned down extras. The food wasn’t as good as a Tesco ready meal and the lamb was so dry… Save yourself some money and find somewhere more respectful.

Normally great but delivery came an hour and a hour after order - driver said they had broken down and had to wait. Food was cold when we dished it up and had to throw most of it away.

I thought I’d tried the best curry houses in Leighton. I was wrong. Eight of the lads from work and I popped here this evening for a decent curry and it was their recommendation. Lovely jalfrezi and naga curries. So much better made than other establishments in town. Smoother, richer sauce and moist chicken. Perfect amount of flavour and heat. Good portions. Truly amazing. I praise their quick service, great mood lighting and decoration inside. It doesn’t look big from the outside but the restaurant is very long and seats a fair amount of people. Don’t pass on this one. Their draft cobra on tap is to die for.

Lovely little Indian restaurant. It was a one-off visit to Leighton Buzzard, so we didn't know what to expect as it was late and we hadn't read any reviews. The food was lovely and the service was great. It was empty as it was late, but you could tell it had been busy, so that was a good sign. Staff polite and courteous.

We’ve ordered from here before and our last order was really tasty. However todays was late, wasn’t to tasty & disappointed with what we received. Ordered for a birthday take away & really let down. Will be trying somewhere else going forward. Shame.

Not very nice food, chicken was really dry and no distinctive flavours between the 2 curries, wouldn’t order from here again.

This is a review for our home delivery meal where we spent over £90 on 24 Jan (LU7 2YG) and you’d think you’d get some complementary popadoms at least but no. The chicken and lamb dishes had very little meat and it was dry and tough. We also asked for all naan breads to be well done but not so. Very disappointed as we have eaten in the restaurant many times but takeaway food not good

My lamb naga, peshwari naan and coconut & lime rice was the best. Generous portions, great service, reasonable prices. I will be going again. Seating could be improved.

Was very disappointed after reading all these good reviews. It was nothing but bland bland bland. £40 on a takeaway is a very rare treat and all of it was bland, no flavour whatsoever, zero spice on anything. Tikka Masala had no spice whatsoever, I know this isn't supposed to be a hot curry but usually there is some mild spice with smokey flavour chicken and rich but slightly sweet sauce but it was just plain and boring more like a plain tomato pasta sauce out of a jar. Bombay Aloo was again bland with no flavour or any spice, may as well been tinned new potatoes with a few onions chucked in. Mrs had a Korma as she always does when we get a curry, now I know this is supposed to be bland but even she said it was bland tasting even by Korma standards, some feat to make a Korma even more bland than it's supposed to be. Lamb samosa was also underwhelming, again with no spice or flavouring just ground lamb. Don't waste your money better off buying a ready meal curry from Tesco, you'll get more flavour. I certainly won't waste my money on a curry from here again.

Great food fresh hot no complaints

while i don't like to give bad reviews as it can effect businesses revenue i have to let people know when something isn't good. the meal started well enough with wonderful popadoms , the choice was better than anywhere i've been , but that's as good as it got , the wife had samosa starter which was cooked ok but no spice at all , i've never had a poor onion bhaji in my life till now , two large bhaji one not good , could only eat the outside the other uneatable , disgusting in fact . my wife's tandoori chicken tikka was nicely cooked chicken and onion , where was the spice , no where to be seen , most odd . my dish could have been excellent if it had been cooked fresh , but the chicken was not good at all . side dishes where pretty good to be fair . all in all a very very disappointing visit , could it be because it was a wednesday night ? the worst indian i've ever had , by a long way too , i hope they read this and change the way they do things as its such a shame . staff where very good , could not fault them .

Consistently excellent food. Always arrives piping hot and the delivery drivers are always very polite and friendly. Takes a while to arrive, but so worth the wait. Never had a bad meal or missing items like with other places.

This place has the best food, I have ordered from here many times and the food never fails. Take away or eat in, the food is always fantastic. I recently moved to the area and it’s so hard to find a lovely restaurant and I’m so glad I listened to my new neighbours!! Will definitely recommend when asked!!!

The rice was dry, the vegetable dish tasted sour and the samosas were soggy. Absolutely awful meal for me. Really disappointed Lime tree. We have been ordering from you for years. This was the worst meal ever. It was as if it were left overs from lunchtime and the vegetables, I felt were off,hence the sour smell .

Just Eat said 35-60 mins, once I placed the order it said 60-75 mins and it arrived after 80 mins. This is the third time it’s been inaccurate with times, the last two were on a weekend so we thought this time on a weekday would be different but it wasn’t so that was the last time we’ll order with them. Eating dinner after 9.30pm is less than ideal. Greta food though.

Don’t be fooled by the small frontage of this great restaurant. Great food, excellent service, staff very friendly, the manager is such gentleman too. For me the best Indian restaurant in town, can’t rate it high enough. Love the Chicken dhansak, tried King Prawn Dhansak last time, no skimping on the prawns. Highly recommend the Naga too.

I ordered 2 lamb biriyani’s yesterday and has and as requested Indian spicy where is what I got was one thing the quantity was really less and the taste was bland. I feel like I’m biriyani, but some lamb and rice. While pacing the order via their website i included the requirements on order instructions as well as comments as-well as called the restaurant and reminder them. The previous orders were 1 year ago and i had similar experiences and i stopped ordering, thought to retry with a hope that things might have improved. It was simply waste of money 😠Never again.

Food arrived early and was hot. Chicken was tender and tikka sauce was delicious.

Tandoori chicken was flavourful and moist. The rice was tasty. The onion bhaji and the makhani were slightly bland and lacking spice and flavour.

Excellent! Visited on a quiet Monday night. Very welcoming staff, perfectly presented food, standard pricing, will definitely return. Thank you chaps. Edit: return visit just as good...but...please fix the toilet, needs a refurb!

Ordered in food. Taste wasn't that great. Chilli paneer tasted like it was made with ketchup. Person on the phone taking order and the delivery person were polite to deal with. Not enough to order again.
