Excellent food, service was quick and staff very nice and helpful. The chicken chettinad and Ceylon mixed fried rice schezwan style is a must try as well as the mango lassi. The staff were also very attentive.

First time I went there with friends and our Mrs food was so nice will go back again soon well done 👍👍👍

As usual food arrived on time and still hot, and accurate as ordered. Only minor point, lamb biriani meat is getting larger[ may be it's my age!!] Unlike Indian tradition, Sri Lankan lamb meat should be smaller squares. Nevertheless it was OK. Thank you.

Booked a family party recently. Everyone had to wear their coats until the end of the party as it was extremely cold in the hall. The cold wind was blowing through the gap of the doors. Also take away parties kept entering and existing through the door in spite of the party was booked completely private. This disturbed the party atmosphere a lot. The quality of food was below average and the portions of starters were unacceptably less quantity. Some of the booked items were even missing. Toilets are very unclean and messy. Overall it was such a disaster. Please think twice before anyone books for a family party.

Drinks - more than 0.5 hours. Even then, they took it back and said it was for another table. Starters - took 1.5 hours yo come, and they forgot 1 starter, which we had to keep asking for. Finally, they brought it in the middle of the mains. Mains - They told us they don't have a dish we ordered during the main course. Then it came 10 mins later. Was very annoyed and confused at this point. The food itself was decent. If you do want to try this place, allow a couple of hours for you to be served.

I had placed an order with them at 7:20pm and it was only delivered at 8:50pm, while it was supposed to be delivered by 7:45pm. I initially thought the delay was the main issue, but it turned out there was more to it. I ordered Chicken Kothu and Gobi Manchurian, but after 20 minutes, the owner called to say they had run out of Chicken Kothu. She kept me on hold for a long time, leaving me unsure about the status of my order. Eventually, she convinced me to switch to Chicken Biryani, promising it would be quicker. However, the delivery took ages, and when I finally received the food, they had prepared my original order instead. Worse, the Chicken Kothu barely had any chicken, suggesting it was rushed and poorly made. This not only delayed my dinner but also resulted in a disappointing and tasteless meal. I'm deeply dissatisfied with their service.

I frequently visit to this restaurant. Food is okay but the staff was always asking to pay by cash. I think the owner was stupid because he was not paying the tax and it's a crime.

I was really disappointed with my experience here. There was a large group of us celebrating my mum’s birthday. Very very slow service. Had to keep chasing things. Food was very bland, lacking flavour. The only thing that was good was the mixed grill. The mutton rolls hardly had any mutton and the fish cutlet didn’t even look like it had fish. Just a pretty place. Will not be visiting again.

I would highly recommend that you avoid this restaurant... We had to wait for more than 1hr to get our drinks and starts. And then another 1 hour to get our mains. There was 3 waiters.(1 male(Bala was ok)and 2x females....my God very unprofessional don't understand what we are saying and they were very rude. I ordered kothu after 30 mins 1 female waiter said Mutton kothu is not available.and then after 15 mins Bala bought my mutton kothu. Never aging. It was our in-laws' 40th wedding anniversary.it was completely ruined.

Go there quite often, food is good but I do find some of it very spicy - almost like raw spice flavour coming through, e.g. the lamb curry and the chicken curry - but that's the Ceylon style of cooking. Recommend the egg hopper - simple but tasty, devil mutton and the fried rice. Service is very good with the staff engaging with their customers. Good value food/drinks.

It was my first time trying Sri Lankan food, and I went with my white partner. They just assumed that we both couldn't handle the spice and reduced the spice level without asking us, which is wrong! The food that we wanted was not available, but what we did manage to order was actually tasty. My only concern was that the waitress could not understand what I meant by me being lactose intolerant, which made me feel extremely uncomfortable when choosing the food. Please educate your staff on important matters such as food allergens and intolerance and the difference between the two. In the end, the waitress gave us some dessert as an apology for everything that happened, and the dessert contained milk (I'm severely lactose intolerant). I recommend the food but not if you have an intolerance or allergy.

Food is cold as delivery was late, quality of the food was terrible, it just rice and some cabbage, very disappointed.

I ordered egg apam with fish curry and sea food kothu through ubereats. I got a call from restaurant stating that sea food kothu isn’t available and offering less expensive options for same price . When I stated the staff cancel the item they said we just found sea kothu but when I received my order it was plain kothu noting sea food . This restaurant is cheating people. food was good, timing was ok. music a bit loud n distracting. staff did not know about yum points and i had to explain the process and show them my account, and evidence that 2000 yums is a £50 discount. they initially told me they cannot give me a £50 discount.

Awesome and nice ambience and good restaurant with food tasty

The first time at this place and trying out dosa and I was not disappointed. The waitress was attentive and helpful. Can't really share my thoughts on the atmosphere as we was the only ones eating inside the restaurant, but that's not to say it doesn't get busy!

I especially asked in the notes to make the rice less spicy and it’s spicer than ever!! It was suppose to be for a child. I had to make extra food for her at home. This is the second time this has happened!! Really bad! I’m afraid I won’t be ordering again. It’s pathetic that notes are not read. What’s the point of notes?

Well lit up place with some decent food. I really enjoyed my chicken kothu. The mutton kothu which my brother in law ordered was nice too, and tandoori chicken was amazing. My sister had mixed reviews about the masala dosa, the filling lacked flavour. Starters were all really nice. Didn’t get a chance to try the crab fry which I was told was the best dish at the restaurant. I did have to wait a while for my cocktail to arrive which I wasn’t impressed about but the mojito was nice. We had kids at the restaurant, felt like staff could have done better with bringing out their food first as requested. Despite some of the negative feedback, staff were very friendly and overall food was good and I’d recommend.

I recently ordered the Chicken Kothu and Chicken 65 from this restaurant, and my experience was extremely disappointing. Firstly, the portion sizes were incredibly small, making the meal feel overpriced for what was provided. More disturbingly, the Chicken Kothu was made with fish gravy. This is completely unacceptable and quite frankly, disgusting. Who uses fish gravy for Chicken Kothu? It ruined the dish entirely. Additionally, the packaging was poor, which only added to the overall negative experience. I would not recommend ordering from here.

We were recommended this restaurant but unfortunately I don't think it's worth the trip to seven kings. The starters and drinks were good however their biryani was too greasy and their crab curry could have had more meat. Also their hoppers is not made well.

I have ordered dhall vada a few times but the last two times, it was terrible. it had no salt or spice. in fact it was so bland and hard it could have been cardboard. I will not be ordering anything from them again. A waste of money.
