Muziris in Redbridge

Ordered Kizhi Parotta and Chicken noodles via Uber eats. The most pathetic food ever had in the UK. The noodles were flooded with Oil & Cabbage and Kizhi Parotta had hardly any gravy in it as it was filled with chopped onions and green chillies. The high rating in Uber Eats lead me to this. Please be aware.

Great place for Kerala food! Dishes have slightly changed in the way they were cooked since we first got here, but still a really good place.

Malabar chicken curry was one of the best I have had in London. Prawn fry was out of this world. Authentic Indian food, great service and worth the 1 hour drive from my house. Will definitely come again. Highly recommend.

One suggestion: don't go around the closing time of this restaurant or you may end up eating cocktail stuffs that remained throughout the day.

Not a frequent customer as we live a bit bar, but we had tried a few different dishes over the last 3-4 years. Honestly the only quality and consistent food so far has been biriyani. Everything else be that be porotta which is a lottery - good at times, old and hard other times, all other dishes especially curries are submerged in oil (authentic kerala is not just oil). And on top of all, hugely over priced for the quality being offered. People loving for authentic kerala food just end up buying from places like these even with past bad experiences for the love of kerala food, these guys just shamelessly cashing on such people

The food is neither delicious nor bad. An average food. Good atmosphere, service is also average.

Food was yum, served well and fast, extremely accommodative and friendly, would definitely feast from here over and over again.

Food quality declined soo badly. Used to be a good restaurant for Kerala food over the years , but the food quality have went down badly. Last time i ordered I even got almost burned food. Hope the owner changes his attitude show and keeps a good cook .

One of the worst service I ever seen in London. Not even responsible to provide tissues or a water of bottle even after 10 minutes the customer takes the seat in the hotel. The staff behaves like there is no other hotel in the London.

We went there in search of authentic taste of Kerala and were not disappointed. Thought the atmosphere and service was a bit dull, all the dishes we ordered were flavourful.

This is our go-to place for catering! Their chicken biriyani is to die for. For our most recent event, we ordered Travancore Chicken as one of our starters which was just divine. Their staff are very kind and friendly as well which adds another layer of satisfaction as a customer. Highly recommend.

Good restaurant for Indian food, especially south Indian. Highly recommend the Kalanji fry. The place itself could use a drop of paint and refresh. But good otherwise.

Never recommend this restaurant. Ordered fresh orange juice and got tropicana orange juice in glass. Ordered wild boar and they give us reheated, which felt like from previous day.

Worst experience. Ordered chatti choru and got a mess of rice and some curry’s. If you can’t give anything good, never try it and loot people.

Look at the quality of the Kappa biriyani 9 pounds they charging for this... So bad... At least try to served the food equal to the cost.... I called them and informed about this but they don't care...

There is no way to give negative stars else I would have. It's a horrible experience with them. We ordered food in advance for an event at home and confirmed it by call to the Owner Sal. The pickup was agreed at 12noon as the lunch was supposed to start at 12.30pm. When we came none of his staffs knew about the order and they said we didn't confirm the order hence they haven't prepared it. When we asked them to call their owner Sal, they checked and he confirmed to them that we had confirmed the order and that he was busy forgot to inform them. Never heard such lame excuse for substandard service. Further, each of their staff came with different proposed time to handover the order causing unnecessary anxiety and stress. These all happened while our guests were waiting for lunch. Never again !!!

Tried a few dishes here and it was all quite good. Duck roast was particularly good. We also tried appam and chicken curry .There was a party going on when we visited and there was a lot of noise with kids running around continuously and hence dining experience wasn’t great.

Don’t try kerala meals from here. We ordered kerala meals( served in banana leaf) and they charged 20 for that and the item was not in their menu as well. Even taste was pathetic and all curries were made up. The menu shows here not updated as well.

Food was flawless.we just had food from muziriz and the taste was exceptional.

Lovely Keralan food and friendly service. I went there around 5pm on Saturday and was not busy at all. The staff were very friendly and polite. I had masala tea and masala dosa. The tea was very nice and had that typical Indian spice notes. The dosa was lovely , accompanied by Sambar and coconut chutneys. It was all very tasty , especially the Sambar, which had a very authentic taste. I can definitely recommend this restaurant for someone who fancies some Kerala food.

Very typical local Kerala cuisine. Reminds me of home. It was my first visit and I was quite impressed by the freshness of the food. The atmosphere is not much to talk about but is very clean and serves the purpose. The staff was very friendly and respectful but do bare in mind to carry some cash if you need to tip them. The prices are very pre pandemic and absolutely spot on. One dish suffices the craving for 2. I could see the chef get supplies locally. Reaching there might be a bit of a hassle if you're used to tube but do give it a try if you want to enjoy some piece of homeliness. I would definitely go again and try more items. Professional staff & delicious food especially the beef roast.

Traditional Indian food restaurant/cafe, you may need to get some advice from the staff on what to order as the menu caters for Asians rather than Europeans but give it a try.

Food was amazing on our 1st visit to this place. However, after the 2nd visit it lacked the same enjoyment. There is a variety of south Indian food on the menu and certainly the masala dosa comes at the top of my personal preference. Prices are reasonable and seating is comfortable.

Best Indian restaurant tasted after a very long time. All the dishes were great and very friendly staff as well. Will visit again soon.

Shocking, the worst I've ever eaten. Avoid the place.

Poor service and lack of professionalism from the staff.. Went in with family and nobody bothered to attend us. Spoke to a guy but he couldn't offer a table.Being a late evening,we asked him can we atleast have a take away but the response was 'kitchen is busy and can't accept any orders now' Disappointing..!!

Must go if you want to have some good Kerala food. We had biryani, fried rice, ghee rice, chicken curry to name a few and most of it was good and tasted near authentic. The only thing that I didn't like was garlic chicken. The food options are affordable as well. Recommended👍🏼

Very unprofessional staff . According to website, restaurant was meant to open at 1pm on Sunday. We waited until 1:30 and saw that shutter half open . We then called the restaurant, someone answered after 5 attempts and when asked if the restaurant was open for eating in , I was told that it wasn’t . I then asked at what time they would open, to which he responded saying ‘ WE HAVE A PARTY ORDER , SO I DON’T KNOW ‘.The staff member then just hung up . Worst customer service and poor business discipline. Absolutely ludicrous. Please avoid . Dr PJ

Visited this restaurant for traditional Onam Sadhya. It was one of the best festive food I can count on. Love to visit here again.

Very good place for all types of kerala food. Parota and chicken gravy was excellent.

Didn’t serve the drinking water. No napkins. Food ordered soon but served exactly 40mins later. No staff . I don’t recommend this.

Food is awesome but serving very very slow

Was craving for chattichoru in a really long time, and found this place serves fish curry meals since chartichoru is available only on weekends. The portion size was good enough. We ordered the chicken 65 as a starter as well. Will come back here for chattichoru soon. Great staff, to mention.

Food tastes very authentic like Kerala food, the price is bit high but worth a try always. We love the Kerala paratta and beef curry there.

You can experience the taste of Southindian food and expect authentic South Indian food taste from here prices are reasonable but ambiance need to improve also opening and closing timing also unsatisfactory mostly restaurants are opening till 11 pm

This is an excellent Kerala style restaurant. It's clean and tidy and the food is authentic and tastes great. We come here when we want to eat coastal Indian food.

Ridiculous customer service. The person with the beard doesn’t know how to behave or talk to a person neither a woman customer. Worst service. Please don’t go there with family. Was embarrassed to bring a friend of mine there. I would have given 0 stars if there was an option.We got a strand of hair from food and he was still defending.

Delicious South Indian food. You would love to have the food. I have given just 4 stars because at times their timings are very odd, you call them for a take away at 7:00 PM and they say they are closing. Also you would need lot of patience for the food to be served, May be they are short of man power. But food is best here.

The food here is amazing. If you want to taste the real flavours of Kerala you should come here. We ordered food from here for a party. Food for around 25 people. It was delicious. All the guests loved it. Kept asking where we got the food from. We ordered a couple of chicken dishes and a couple of veg dishes. Flavours just about right. Dishes that needed to be spicy were, and combination of flavours spot on. Will be ordering again for sure. Just to add the Maan fry (Deer fry) was amazing!

Authentic Kerala food. great taste. one of the best Kerala Restaurents in London. i usually order Kerala porotta, beef roast, chicken fry & chilly chicken. Good portion size. Polite & attentive staffs. Overall very good although the service can be a bit quicker.

One of the best Kerala Restaurants in the UK. Amazing porotta and beef fry. Beef double fry was bit hard to chew, biriyani was good & Moda fish curry from the was the best I’ve ever had. The place does need some serious renovation and need some good house keeping(delay in serving food, cleanliness etc). Staff we had was very friendly and helpful. Otherwise a must visit place to try Malabar/Kerala dishes.

Not served drinking water at first and served after several request. Also non vegitarian food I ordered was not upto the expectations. Quantity of side dishes were very less and hesitate to serve second and told like this is limited .

Tried their Kerala Paratha, mutton curry. And Malabar chicken. And chicken dum biryani.. I must say when it comes to the taste, its one of the best south Indian restaurant I have been to, in the whole UK..If you are food lover, this is must try. Don't order from just eat as these dishes needs time to prepare. One need patience when in restaurant as they take time to prepare.

Best Kerala Restaurant in East London.

The lady at the phone desk was so rude. We ordered food online and was told that they cannot serve anymore even though the online platform clearly said they can deliver food in 30mins. We had already paid for the food but now had to go through the task of asking for refund. When I told this to the person at the restaurant she told me that she has other customers and cannot speak to me. Also they cannot deliver food as they are busy! Then stop showing up as open to offer on the online platforms and fix the way you want to cater to customer demands. Also please get a new person at the phone, the lady hardly understands English and was rude and non empathetic about my issues with the order.

Never get the order on time at all, this is the third time, waiting for more than 2 hours. Today placed an order via Just eat, after waiting for a while the order was simply cancelled by the restaurant. When I contacted the restaurant, they simply said they didn’t receive any order, now I will have to wait for the refund to come through. All the hassle and inconvenience, really bad experience. NEVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE.

Recently we visited this restaurant we ordered Kizi poratta once we started to eat we realised its was frozen poratta in the Kizi Same to we ordered fresh,which was excellent
