Haweli Restaurant Ilford in Redbridge

I had one of the best experiences here. The food was amazing and the service is great as well. We were served by "Wasim" and he gave us the best options and great service. I recommend this place to everyone.

Wahsrooms were not properly equipped and were broken. Food was too spicy and kabuli pulqo and chapli kebab were not good. Wont go again.

This is a regular place for my family to dine, we eat there once a month, the last 3 visits have been disappointing. Each of the time there’s has been an item of the menu not available but the waiter took the order and didn’t tell us until we asked, and no apology. Every time we orders was overly spiced with chilly hot, even the plain pilau! I can handle chilly, but I’m awake at 6am next day with stomach burning from the chilly. The waiters don’t say much at any point. Disappointed with food Disappointed with the lack of veg option Disappointed with the lack of service Now need to find and other place to dine.

I have been to this restaurant several times over the last couple of months, and would highly recommend a visit. The food is authentic and delicious. The service is good, even when the restaurant is busy, and I have found the staff to be friendly. The decor is nice, the place is clean. There is an open kitchen which adds to vibe of the place. Note that alcohol is not served at the restaurant for those who fancy a drink of that persuasion during the meal.

Yasir bhai and Akash bhai served us one of the best desi breakfast in London. Alhamdulillah. Highly recommended.

Ordered halwa puri for breakfast. It was really well cooked and fulfilling. The quantity was more than enough for me. The service of the Bengali guy with specs was really friendly. Will go there again to try the other dishes.

One of the best and most famous desi restaurant in London. The food quantity and quality is amazing and sufficient. The only point of improvement is that the restaurant is always crowded and congested and the staff is always overworked. However, regardless a must visit food place to try out in Ilford whenever you visit it.

First time going here. It was completely packed with locals, so figured it would be good food. On the window was chicken biriyani for £5, so I went in. Ordered 2 chicken biriyani. Was given a paper menu. Ordered a lamb curry and a naan. While waiting, I noticed the price for the naan on the menu was 30p less than I had been charged. I went and asked about this. I was told that the price on the menu was old and the menu was snatched put of my hand. The nan them walked off. I stayed where I was, and was ignored got about 5 mins. I was then asked to move. I repeated my issue, and told them I wanted a refund, as the price I saw was the price I was going to pay. Then someone whom I assume was the manager came over. I repeated my issue again. He walks off, comes back with a pound. I sit down and wait for order. Which took too long btw. So...what? Because I'm not Asian I get rubbish service?? Or do you treat all your customers this way?? Shame, as the food was actually really good...
