Food was lovely can't fault the food but the waitresses who was catering our tables were rushing to get out the mains whilst we was still eating starters with barely any space on the table. This really annoyed me and I had to get them to stop. Upon realising my frustration they started clearing away the starters. Never been to a restaurant where they do this especially when I've spent near £500 for the evening. Lost a star for this. Train your staff better

Good portions, tasty and a good price

Went for halwa puri for breakfast. Seats need cleaning, they’re actually disgusting. Otherwise halwa puri is definitely nice (Al-Kareem is better). Staff is courteous.

After returning here almost 3 years later I decided to retry the food at the request of my family only to find the service to be disappointing, the starters arrived and the gol gappe were stale and had no crisp texture, after informing the staff I was told this is how they are and not stale. They said they can be taken off the order, the food arrived and they had placed one of the dishes on someone else’s table 🙄. The attitude of the staff was so unacceptable, it felt like they were being forced to do the job. The service was appalling and although the food was edible, I was highly disappointed, I would recommend that staff are retrained, they should also try and refrain from talking in Urdu whilst working in a Pakistani restaurant and having personal complaints about other staff members.

We were served by Mubashir and Sameera ..the food, ambience and service were really nice. However, it's such a shame that a Pakistani restaurant calling themselves Muslims are selling Coca Cola ... please let the owner know to ban Coca Cola and introduce Salam or Palestine Cola instead. Thanks

Shocking experience. Ordered food through uber. Only 2 item turns up. Rang Hawelii and the response was beyond shocking. “Not my responsibility” was the response I got. I can understand issues happen but you made a contract with Uber. I would expect you to deal with uber and offer to replace food, But instead you say we have to deal with it. Won’t ever be ordering or visiting your restaurant again. Mistakes happen but your response to the issue was beyond appalling

From the moment we walked into Haweli, we knew that we were in for a treat. The ambiance was warm and inviting that set the perfect mood for a delightful dining experience. The chicken dishes were nothing short of spectacular. As a starter, the Chicken Malai Tikka was a standout, with its creamy marinade and perfectly grilled, tender pieces that melted in my mouth. For the main course, the Chicken Handi was equally impressive, offering an authentic taste with its rich, aromatic spices and succulent chicken cooked to perfection. A special mention goes to Deepali, who made our visit truly exceptional. She was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed without being intrusive. I highly recommend Haweli to anyone looking for authentic Desi taste. It's a gem that I can't wait to visit again.

Yaseen was amazing. Great food for the entire family. Very nice decor, comfortable seating. Waiter was polite and food came in good time. Mixed grill was nice slightly on the small side for £20 but I can understand. Ordered a Butt chicken karahi 1/2kg.... wasnt too impressed got 3 legs and 4 wings and the taste wasn't anything to shout about. Naans were nice and the price was ok considering the size and type of establishment. Will return for sure to try other specials.

Chicken karahi was awesome remind me the exact pakistani taste and staff was so helping specially Areeba and Rehan they were amazing.

The service was top-notch – attentive, friendly, and professional throughout. Rehan ensured we had the best seating, adding to the comfort and overall enjoyment of the meal. The atmosphere was delightful, thanks to his attention to detail and warm hospitality. Truly a memorable experience!

Courteous staff. Deepali served us with a smile on her face and quick service. Food was too good- we tried chicken malai tikka in starters and karahi chicken with garlic naan in mains. Chicken was well done

The food was nice. Kebabs reminded me of Mobeen Kebabs..back in the days (which is good, coz they had the best kebabs). Staff we're very polite and friendly. Please work on your prices for the naans/roti...they are a bit expensive

Excellent local spot in Ilford for an Indian. The Lamb Chilli and Prawn Karahi were really tasty and they give the option of a Desi or normal style Butter chicken (i went Desi!).Portion sizes were good and prices very reasonable. The service was top notch.I would definitely recommend.

Great food always consistent, this is always our desi food spot in East London. The special chicken karahi always hits the spot. We have previously also had the halwa Puri and omelette breakfast which hits the spot especially if with family. Exceptional service by Rehan, who was friendly and attentive, and Areeba made a delicious jug of Mango Lassi for us. Highly recommended.
