Today on Eid occasion we thought to try something special and luxurious. So we chose to dine in at Haweli…we ordered fish tikka, malai boti and achari handi. All of them were tasteless, and bland. Fish doesn’t have any taste, no proper seasoning in malai boti , and achari boti doesn’t contain any achari spice. We are really disappointed. We don’t recommend anyone seeking for fine dining in a Pakistani restaurant.

Food was good only downside was that we wanted to try the charsi karahi but unfortunately they saud it will take an hour to prepare where as it mentioned 30 minutes. Our server was Hitesh and he served us well.

It was our first visit to this wonderful restaurant on the eve of Eid ul Fitr. As expected for a good restaurant, it was very busy with people queueing patiently to be seated. We got a very nice table for our family. Restaurant was very clean and tastefully decorated. Greeted warmly by Waseem, a very pleasant and professional member of the staff. He made us feel very welcome and guided us through the menu upon hearing that this was our first visit to their restaurant. Although it was very busy but food arrived promptly, served by very courteous staff. Quality of food was excellent in all respects, generous portions and very good value for the cost. If you are looking for a good Pakistani/Asian cuisine, Haweli Restaurant on Ilford Lane is certainly one of the best, we have visited.

I had the pleasure of dining at Haweli recently and was thoroughly impressed with the experience.
