We booked an evening out on 16th February, a group of 6 couples. We had the best evening. The food was just amazing , all the dishes we ordered were different in flavour but all so tasty. Compliments to the chefs. There was a birthday party on the same evening with a DJ and dance ,so we joined in and danced the night away, it was a lovely evening and we will be returning in April. Thsnk you Tabla !

Wow delicious food. It’s so hard to find a place that does real authentic food. This is the place, just like how your mum would cook, very impressive, so much effort and flavour in the dishes, definitely the best restaurant. Was first time ordering here and will not be the last. Lamb curry had a layer of oil on the top but the curry itself was very nice. Chilli chicken was also very nice. Naans were almost £3 each which is ridiculous

Hi, half my paneer curry was spilt in the bag due to smaller lid on the curry box.

Amazing food…the king prawns are some of the best I’ve had and the mixed grill was Greta Ordered the desi lamb and methi chicken for mains which were 10/10 Service was also prompt and friendly.

Everything was well marinated and still hot on arrival. Am disappointed for the price I paid for 2 butter naan and I received 1 naan cut into 2. Unsure if this was a delivery fault or that what they consider 2 Naan. For 2:75 each I would expect 2 whole Naan breads. All else was good

The food was nice but slightly oily, curry would have been better with less oil, rice was nice and soft and naan was slightly over cooked, not a bad dinner but with little adjustments it could be exceptional! Delivery driver was polite and nice five stars to him!

First of all there's no parking in this premises , so the guests have to park in a nearby car park. Other than that it's spacious enough to hold a small function, service is okay. Not sure why the service staff look grumpy. They don't even smile when you thank them. I guess the management needs to look into this matter. Because I find that ruining the mood. Food was good, especially the fish starter. I think almost all the guests in the function I attended liked it. Toilets have seen its better days. If these above issues are sorted then it would become an even better place to celebrate a small group function...

Have had such a pathetic food experience near Christmas day 2022. Thought it would be a nice dish, turned out to be the one to throw completely. Noodles, thin, tasteless. It was known that recent chef have been changed and things improved but can't rely on it. I ma never gonna take risk of spending a lot and feel embarrassed with guests.

I didn’t get onion raita for briyani ! And the food is not hot..

It was a Saturday evening, and a DJ was playing music, which started around 9 pm. Just before then, for the first hour, all the kids were running around on the dance floor area. They were aged 3-10, and they were screaming, too. Did spoil the night when your trying to have a nice relaxing meal.

10/10! Had the Saag, Baingen and Dal Tadka - Piping Hot & Delicious!

I went to this Taste of Kerala with my siblings for my sisters birthday last week. The food tasted so fresh and spicey. The chicken jelfrezi and the seekh kebab starters were 10/10. The staff were very kind and respectful. We felt very welcomed and comfortable. Will definitely visit again loved the food!!

We went on a Wednesday night for my mother in laws birthday. We are vegetarian and had a few kids so needed mild curries etc They catered for all our needs and made it very special for my MIL- she is already planning to come back. The food was fresh and flavoursome - the naans were lovely. I was surprised by their indo chinese good too. I’ve been before when they had a dinner and dance - but this was lovely too. They allowed the kids to play too- which was extremely helpful , as then the adults could eat in peace. Thank you to Nural and the rest of the great staff. We will be back soon ❤️

I ordered butter chicken and lamb curry, and it’s safe to say that it tasted like home. Really amazing food. The garlic naan was exquisite too! Will only be ordering from here.

Worst experience ever. Went on 24th with a group of 5 friends. They staff don't have that manner to give water first. We asked for salad and it comes at the end of meal. We were literally looking at staff for help no one even mark that what else. It was staff mistakes the he accepted it infront of manager. And manager also , he hase to make sure by working in restro field no one is crazy after restro name customer cares about service and then food. Food was good but service was worst. We got table just like normal furniture no tissue no any cloth on table. Very disappointed

Not good restaurant . Went with friends group we called before but they didn’t mention about any party there, while there was actually private too loud noise and don’t because of them what else we did not get good food service. Why they mix party and private customers? We did not get tissues and water or salad which we really ordered just ate food and paid bill . Waited long staff was taking too much time even manager was not supportive after telling them they acted like they don’t care. At the end not going again for worst experience

I placed an order on just eat after going to the venue for multiple family functions and events and liking the food. I spend £85 and only complained about missing poppadoms which I paid £3.50! For and weren't free like all other takeaways and they were missing. Reported it to which I was told to make sure I look in both bags of food. Still no luck on finding them and with his new clearer instructions then to be called by the delivery driver who called me a liar. Restaurant has gone downhill don't bother anymore. Customer service is poor

If I could give no stars I would! We made a booking for my husband’s 50th on 26th November. Told us they didn’t need deposit until closer to the time & the booking was fine. Had a phone call from Nihal just now telling us our booking is cancelled, because they took another booking & decided to cancel ours. We have family flying in from abroad & he found it all very amusing. He laughed at me, refused to give me his superior’s name & then hung up on me. Absolutely disgusting service!!!!

I book it for 60 - 70 peoples one month on 3rd sep and then after 2 weeks they said it’s one event is book already for 30 peoples event . But when we came on event day even they don’t give us time to decorate and they did 4 parties on same hall on same date and my guests are standing and no seats . They are pathetic party venue so please don’t book it it’s my advice to every one zero ⭐️

Food tasted very good but I ordered 3 lamb dishes, the lamb had rubbery fat on every piece of lamb which spoilt the dinner. The lamb needs to be cleaned of the fat

Went to this restaurant today Didn't feel welcome from the moment we sat down it took 15 minutes for someone to take a drinks order .to then be told it would take half-hour to get a coffee to which we got up and walked out to say shoddy service is a understatement will not be going back again

Well I been to this place quite a Few times for Birthday or Anniversary parties .I hated the service 🙄 .They took our plates while we were still eating and turn the dj off at 11pm .Their food quility is not very Good either 😕 I can't recommend this place for night parties especially .They don't care about the customer service .I wad still at the party .we were almost leaving I can't believe they charge me for my last drink when I was at a party not a dinner or somthing .My experience was bad 👎

The food was amazing and servicemen were very prompt and polite. However the floor was not clean as I would have loved to see. It's minor point but I will certainly love to go there again and will strongly recommend this restaurant

I’ve ordered from here about 10 times in the past and have loved it but my order yesterday was poor. It was ordered at 7:20 on a Saturday night and didn’t arrive until 9:40. The food was cold and some of it wasn’t fresh. The naan had been reheated as it was chewy and hard. The samosas from the vegetarian platter had also been reheated as the pastry was soft and soggy. Apart from the samosas and naan, it all tasted fine but it was cold. I tried to call the restaurant twice to get an update on the order but they didn’t pick up, and once the delivery driver from the restaurant came there was no apology for being so late.

Good food, but don’t recommend drinks. Coke is a rip off. £2.50 for a 330ml

Delivery time was great, food was not. Fried Rice was terrible, full of soya sauce & left uncomfortable after taste. Chicken Biriyani was full of masala powder made us wonder if it was really from a genuine Indian cook. Pls don't call it Biriyani. Chicken in fried rice, Biriyani and desi curry was very bad taste. Frozen chicken! Naan was good. Paneer dish was tasty. Will never order NonVeg & Rice dishes from here. Utterly disappointed. Very uncomfortable after taste even hours after eating.

Beautiful food, exactly what we ordered, we did ask for a few things to be altered to our taste. Ordered for a specific time and was perfectly timed. Food was excellent, hadn’t had their Goan Fish Curry before, it was stunning, lamb as always amazingly flavoured and spiced, will be ordering again soon. Huge tasty naans too!

I first ordered from here in June 2020 after going to the restaurant as a kid and I refuse to go anywhere else for an Indian takeaway now. The food always arrives hot but more importantly it is so so delicious. I do wish the poppadoms came free after spending a certain amount because a takeaway for two people can easily come to £40 BUT we always go back because the quality is great. We usually order garlic naan, pilau rice, daal makhani and a couple of chicken dishes. Can’t wait to order again 10/10!!!

My family and I just love Tabla, we’ve ordered multiple times from there, and have gone to the restaurant for so many occasions like anniversaries, birthdays, and just for fun :) I could go on and on about how authentic and delicious their food is, but I’ll try and keep it short and simple ! 1. As mumbai originated, My family and I are quite picky eaters when it comes to Indian restaurants, we’re always on the hunt for something spicy, authentic, and flavourful! Tabla ticks all our boxes for that- we have a set menu of our faves like the paneer karahi, chicken Chettinaad, chicken lollipop starter, bihari bhoti starter, and especially the HYDERABADI GOSHT BIRIANI!!😍😍 2. The service is amazing- the team is really helpful, patient, and kind! We’ve developed a really lovely relationship with them now, as their loyal customers ;), they’re super welcoming and gave us complimentary wine and dessert ( gaazar halwa with ice cream) for my mum’s birthday! 3. Ordering online service is also really good- we live a good 45 minutes car journey from there so for occasions like Christmas and Easter when we tend to spend it at home, we do huge deliveries and the food is always in good condition, every item is perfect as promised, nothing missing or spilled, or inconsistent tasting! 4. Very fair pricing- it’s affordable and super worth it!! There are some Indian restaurants that are so much more overpriced for their portions but tabla really know what they’re doing ! 5. Good for families or friends or parties… tabla accommodates everyone, my dad and his friends have recently started going and they’re always wanting more :) Overall: amazing! Our most favourite Indian restaurant, leaving us always satisfied.

Food and service was excellent friendly and very cosy to sit and eat. Will be coming back.
