Fantastic evening at the Indian Masala. A great selection of starters and mains including their own speciality dishes. We were spoilt for choice. All food cooked to order and it was so delicious. Five star service. Thank you to all of the team. Our next visit is already booked so see you soon .

Ordered online for delivery to holiday accommodation - food arrived on time and pipping hot. Meal was lovely and plenty of it - thoroughly enjoyed and wouldn’t hesitate to order from here again the next time we visit this area.

Have been here a few times now, staff are second to none, very attentive and helpful if your unsure of choices. They will even cook a curry to your taste. Food has always been excellent, highly recommend the mixed platter for starters, combination of kebabs and a bhaji cooked perfectly. This is definitely somewhere that an expert curry connoisseur or even a first timer can enjoy. Parking is a little limited and booking definitely recommended, however they have managed to squeeze us in on a couple of occasions with a short wait. They also offer takeaway and I believe delivery.

Ordered last night, delivery was supposed to be 25 minutes but didn’t arrive till an hour and 10 minutes later. I phoned after 45 minutes and politely said what time I’d ordered and that it hadn’t arrived and asked for an update to which the guy more or less shouted ‘it’s on its way’ and put the phone down without even knowing which order was mine. It then didn’t turn up till nearly half an hour later, no apologises given. Food was cold when it arrived. I was missing a curry and was only refunded for part of the cost of the missing curry so ended up losing money. I never leave reviews but couldn’t let this one go and upon reading reviews, it looks as if this has happened to a few people.

Disappointed first visit, wanted to try this for many years. The whole place needs a spruce up very tired inside. Menu filthy had to ask for another one, Service slow not very attentive in asking re coffees or deserts at the end, so decided to just pay up. Very quiet been a Tuesday so plenty of time to up sell. Food was luke warm and tasted pretty bland. Couldn’t be bothered complaining it never gets rectified in the way you’d like when it involves food, just won’t return.

A real gem of a curry house. From the tasty food, welcoming staff and lovely environment everything is amazing from start to finish. We don't go anywhere else as love Indian Massalla so much.

Friendly staff and delicious food. Had 3 courses and all were fresh, hot and tasted fantastic. We were offered containers to take away the left overs too.

I have to say, I really enjoyed our visit to indian massala! I have been many times before and I always enjoy it! When we walked in at 7pm, the restaurant was full of people which is always a good sign of business! Although busy, the service was really good and the food was excellent. There was a slight delay in the food coming out but we were offered a complimentary drink which was great service. On a wednesday and Thursday evening they offer a normal menu but also a £12.95 meal deal which includes a starter, a main course and also a side dish aswell. I ordered a mixed kebab starter followed by the cottage special biriyani with mushroom bhaji from the £12.95 menu. The food really was excellent! The only down side was that i couldn't eat it all but i was offered the take away packaging to take the rest home with me which was half... there was so much food! All in all an excellent place for food and service. Top marks to all at Indian massala! Regards Russell.

Very average. I’ve had much much better and I’ve had worse. Just an honest review. Waiting time was quite long and it seemed very quiet, seated at 7pm, meals arrived at 8.30, so an hour and half for three curries, we didn’t have starters just had popadoms and dip, they don’t do chilli sauce with the dip tray either which I found odd.

Visited whilst spending the weekend in Weston Super Mare. Food was excellent as was the service, all at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Would never order off these again waited over a hour for delivery kept ringing 10 minutes rang again 4 minutes rang again 2 mins half hour after still not here over an hour later the driver turned up the food was stone cold and he tried to get us to take the order absolutely disgusting will never order from these again

Wonderful Asian food as it used to be in every Indian restaurant years ago. Alas many many others can not match this, quality.

Ordered food while on holiday in the area. The food was excellent. I usually order the same dish wherever I go so I know this was 5* in my opinion.

Come here for all my Indian takeaways or when I have more time, to eat in. I have never had a bad meal and the portions are always large it's my go to place for a takeaway and the cheese nan is the best I have had.

Had a fantastic meal with friends at a great price, but because it was so busy , service was let down a little. You have to try them on Wednesday and Thursday as it's special price night's. If in the area it's a must try.*****

What a great find this restaurant is! Hubby and I had a special Biriani with a madras vegetable curry, chicken tikka masala and a cheese nan, everything tasted fabulous. The portions were very generous (we came away with 2 takeaway cartons full so that's another meal each). The staff are all very friendly and helpful, they all seem to care about their work. We will be back there again and again

We visited on a Friday evening as a party of four. All of us commented that the food was really good - from the crispy fresh popadoms to the 2 Chicken Balti, the Murgh-e-chilli Lahore to my Chicken Naga and accompanying rices and naans - all were excellent. The service was fast and efficient and we were pleased to be offered a drink on the house by the manager - greatly appreciated. We will certainly visit again when next in Bleadon.

Wonderful food, a very nice ambience. On the day we visited, it was very busy so service was a little on the slow side but otherwise, very welcoming restaurant.

Hi Ordered a takeaway on father's day. Unfortunately it was england game aswell. Delivery was booked for 8.30 and then changed to 8.45 . Rang up at 9.15 see what time it was due and was told it was on its way.turned up at 9.40. The meal it self was very nice but very Luke warm.

Went to rookery manor lodges and ordered a takeaway. Food was great and I would say it was one of the best I have ever had. This says much as I am from the curry city (Birmingham). I enjoyed it that much I had to order another curry before I went home. My vindaloo came hot and full of flavour not like most of the restaurants because all you can taste is chilli. Will be using these again the next time in somerset.

We went to the "Indian Masala Restaurant" while we were on our holiday in Weston Super Mare. The food was super delicious and service was perfect even though it was a very busy hour ! I recommend to everyone who loves Indian food!

Well after a fair journey from Birmingham via the m5 and all the roadworks I called in for an Indian Masala and as usual I wasn’t disappointed. Always a great warm welcome from all the team, a good and honest handshake and a lovely smile. Ordered the chicken madras with rice and a naan bread, following a quick pint the meal came out hot and accompanied by some free poppadoms with the mint sauce. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and I’ll be back soon, can’t recommend this place enough.

Ordered a takeaway while stopping at uphill marina. Delivery was excellent and the driver was very polite. Delicious food and very generous portions. Cant wait to our next stay at uphill and will definitely be using this restaurant again.

Food is excellent, stayed at some local lodges, which we usually struggle to get deliveries in other places, delivered to lodge piping hot. Delivery driver was lovely! Excellent food & service

Starters were cold 3 out of 4 only one was hot ,they were served on a cold plate , main course was cold apart from one persons although his rice was cold , brought in cold dishes but given a hot plate to eat it off , asked for it to be heated which they did but took so long everyone on the table had nearly finished , service was not great , brought the main meal while all the plates were still on the table for the starter and he was going to leave them , gave me one spoon to serve 2 dishes ? , best thing I ate was the after eight mint at the end . I did take my food home which I ate the next day making sure it was hot and it did taste good shame it was not like that when we visited ruined the whole night also the place was cold I looked around at the few people in and most had kept the layers on I sat with a scarf on . Will not be returning.

Great place.....we love it. Best chicken shaslik ever and love the pineapple rice. Moh is always so welcoming.

The best I've had in many years by far!!! It was busy Xmas time so at first missing onion bajis, brought them back very soon with much extra and a lovely attitude. I'll only use these from now on and I know a good curry!!! The best is here!

Best curry in the area these days! We used to come here twenty years ago when it had a different name (Curry Cottage) but we slowly moved to another curry house. Unfortunately the other place's chef died a few years ago so we've been trying every single curry house around Weston... This is the best. It's authentic, the portion sizes are good, the flavours are spot on. Best curry house anywhere near Weston.

Ordered from here twice, everytime it's been extremely late (we ordered at 18:30 and was told it would be 45 mins, we called and it seemed as though they forgot us) (similar situation last time) and the Currys tasteless with chicken thigh used as opposed to breast, the curry I had was £10.50! No reimbursement or freebies offered to compensate for the delay. Overpriced, underflavoured, poor ingredients, poor service. Sorry, I don't do review often but really felt dissapointed. The plus side is that the delivery driver was lovely and very apologetic.

Found this superb little restaurant just outside Weston-super-Mare while looking for somewhere nice for a meal with my parents, wife and children. The impeccable service and welcome was rivalled only by the sublime food. Second to none and I've eaten at many. They even sent a member of staff out to buy my wife's favourite drink. Thankyou Indian Massala for a truly wonderful dining experience.

Two of us tried the restaurant for the first time, food was excellent, and we both decided to stray from the usual, what a great idea, will be going back to try more different dishes. The staff are very friendly can't find a fault. More than reasonable prices.

It was a late evening and needed a meal for 2. I have eaten in the restaurant twice before. Good food and service. Clean and staff were polite. This takeaway was terrific. Tasty and good value for money.

First visit to this restaurant last week. It definitely won't be the last. Large portions and food served very quickly. Honey chicken and prawn was fabulous. Paired this with coconut rice which was light and full of flavour. Lots left over but as we were going on holiday the next day we couldn't take home what was leftover ☹️ However, next time we will take advantage of that. The staff were lovely and very accommodating , They couldn't do enough for us,lovely warm welcome as soon as we walked through the door 😄😄😄 Plenty of parking too.

The food was lovely service was great extremely helpful & Atmosphere was also great plus prices were cheaper than if u ordered fd online especially if dining in on a Wednesday or Thursday evening only £13pp for a starter main n 2 sides will definitely be visiting again soon

Ordered a take away from here for the last night of our holiday. All seemed fine until halfway though our meal when we noticed, lumps of furry mould in the youghurt mint sauce! Absolutely disgusted as we had already eaten a fair amount before realising. Immediately threw the whole meal away! Absolutely disgusted, Do NOT eat here! (Unfortunately didn’t get any photos as was so grossed out immediately threw the whole takeaway in the bin!)

Very poor service tonight. Firstly they missed our booking. Secondly, we waited 1.5 hours for our starter. I had to ask the manager where it was. Very over crowded & noisy tonight. Very disappointed

The Indian Masala is our local Indian restaurant and there is no need for us to go anywhere else. The food is always fresh and tasty with generous portions. I like choosing different things from the varied menu and haven't been disappointed yet. Definitely try this place if you haven't already.

We came across this restaurant by accident while looking for a different one. Absolutely lovely. The food was yummy. Had loads left so was able to take it home. Wasn’t expensive. And the staff were patient while we chose and were very polite. We would definitely eat there again and recommend to others.

Ordered on just eat at 1740, told delivery between 1835 and 1855. No updates, told there was a delay to 1910, rang restaurant apprently trying to ring me on a number i dont even know whose it was. Shouted at by restaurant staff. Being blamed for my food being late. Gave my personal number driver rang and had been at the wrong address, in the wrong street and wrong postcode. Yet the restaurant confirmed my address and postcode. When food arrived shouted at by delivery driver that its my fault. Re rang restaurant to explain they were at the wrong address and as my food was cold. ( was a temp of 39° on arrival) shouted at again by staff and then had the phone hung up on me when I asked for a refund. Food did not taste good once reheated and went in the bin.

Fantastic food really nice people

We have used this place on occasions before and fancied a curry tonight. Put an order in at 8:30 and was told 45min wait. Then received an email saying delivery was 9:35, at 9:45 we rang them and was told 5-10 minutes. At 10pm we rang again and were told 5-10 minutes At 10:15 was fold 5-10 minutes again at which point I got frustrated and demanded to speak to someone of authority and they hung up. Curry finally arrived at 10:30pm was pretty much cold and expected the driver to have arrived on foot. Will never use again, constantly lie through their teeth.

Unbelievable, owners admitted there app was rubbish only order over the phone, had to collect our takeaway for the 2nd time. Stuff didn't give any indication of why, also didn't receive vegetable curry with 2 curry dishes and asked why. Took 2 hrs. Absolutely disgusting customer service from unfortunately a very tasty curry. I'd ring infuture. 2nd time disappointed 😞

Staying next door in caravan park. Ordered on app for take out. Food was excellent. Cannot fault anything. Full of flavour with good size portions. Wish it was close to home would use it all the time for Indian takeaway. Most enjoyable

Our favourite indian. Always delivers. Friendly service, and great valie for money. They do my favourite curry, and their delivery service is reliabe. Wednesday and Thursday evenings are the meal deal nights and excellent value.

This was our first delivery from here, and definitely won’t be the last. I cannot find one thing about the delivery or food to complain about. I ordered online in the afternoon about 4 asking for a 6:30 delivery. The food arrived at 6:31… great as we love in a hard to find location. Maybe people who complain about delivery times could pre order rather than all expecting to get their food quickly at busy times? We ordered a variety of curries, veggie dishes and rices. Every dish was tasty and plentiful. We didn’t have one single oily or greasy dish. The biriani was especially tasty. It’s almost as I’d we ordered from a different rest than the low reviews posted recently Will be back soon

We waited for 3 hours for our main meal and one of our group who had to go on to work had to take his food as a takeaway I'll let you draw your own conclusions

Took my husband here for his birthday and we were not disappointed. Polite and helpful staff and the food was delicious. The decoration was a bit stark for my taste (hence the 4 stars) but well worth a visit.

Just Eat order. Ordered 2022. Promised 2105-2125. Phoned up, told it'll be with us in 20 minutes. Phone 2206, told it is on its way. Despite it being on its way it seems from 2135. It's a 10 minute drive. Arrived 2220. Submitted claims for partial/ full refund through Just Eat. Told they won't issue a refund, as the restaurant was busier than usual. Food was nice though, after we warmed it up due to being less than hot. It would have been quicker to drive there, ponder over the menu, order, take a stroll around Bleadon, pick the food up and drive back. And it would have been hot, so we needn't have used the oven. Which is, I think, the whole point of ordering in.

Little slow on service but worth waiting for . We had Balti chicken and it was very nice. It was Sunday night. The restaurant was nice and parking was round the back

Staff not very welcoming and all very tick box… popadoms and pickles great but then the restaurant got busy and it all got very discombobulated… Mains arrived and my veg biriyani was disgusting like it had been soaked in oil…My partners garlic chilli veg curry again was greasy and he only ate half and felt ill… our forks were taken after the starter and not replaced I had to go and ask when mains arrived.. we ordered more drinks which didn’t arrive and asked more than 3 waiters… asked for the bill as just needed to leave and they hadn’t sorted it out and again had to go to the till and wait… Would never return, Never recommend!

Please don't use the online ordering system. I tried and the order was rejected after two and a half hours of chaser phone calls and eventually the system telling me the order was rejected, despite the payment being accepted. No call back to say there was an issue (they had my number). Having been charged and despite a number of follow-up calls (no callbacks from them, as promised) and emails sent (with no replies from them) I have still not had a refund.

Great food...amazing prices....really good value

By far the best Indian in the Weston/Bleadon area. The food is Delicious and still can't see how they make it for the price. Can't believe I lived in Weston-Super-Mare for 15 years and only just found this gem.

This place is just such a shame. Order one day - lovely- another day awful. Ordered a lamb curry, the lamb was practically non existent! Staff seem to change frequently. Definitely going down hill.

I don’t usually do the wed or Thursday deals but I thought let give it a go. The mix kebabs was dry, main course arrived 20+ late everything was cold. I could not eat my food. We waited for the table to be cleared but no one came. We then went to pay and left. No one asked us is everything ok. Worse place I have ever been too. I know my curry and that was left over that no one wanted and they re- heated and serve on their deals. The place was very quiet so no excuse for a bad service and the bad food. Will I return I don’t think so.
