Food was 2 hours guys and we live pretty close !! Hate reheating meals

Just had our first curry from Zak’s kitchen. We haven’t lived in Weston for long. Definitely good food but shame they forgot to put in the rice. But that’s not going to stop me ordering again, nice food and arrived on time .

I’ve eaten in Zak’s many times and it’s always been excellent. Sadly the delivery experience wasn’t so good. Most of the food was lukewarm. Chicken tikka main consisted of 4 small chunks and a slither of onion. Zak’s offered a free dish next time.

Food good but delivery time awful. Ordered at 17:50. Was meant to be delivered 19:20. Finally turned up 20:25.

Had a lovely family birthday meal for 12 of us on Sunday 20 October dine in, we allso on many occasions have a takeaway. We keep coming back which speaks for itself

Took well over an hour, food was tepid, quality was poor - two pieces of chicken does not make up a mixed grill! Also delivered the wrong naan bread. Very disappointing from a usually outstanding restaurant.

Absolutely delicious food. Not much meat in our naan bread but all in all it was all delicious. Would definitely order from here again.

Cracking traditional Indian Restaurant where you can still BYO. Food lovely, service great.

What a fantastic Indian restaurant! It is by far the best Indian meal I've ever eaten!!( and I'm 58!) The service was faultless. But it was fairly early in the evening, so was quiet. If only I'd discovered it at the beginning of my little holiday and not the last.

Excellent food very well presented (see the picture of the samosas). Spacious, busy restaurant, bring your own bottle with no corkage fee. A short walk from the sea front, somewhat South of the town centre.

Food arrived a little late but that was ok . The delivery man was apologetic and very friendly but the food was cold , the chicken as tough as old boots . Really did not enjoy this meal at all

Cold food, salad was brownish and limp. Nan bread cold and uncooked. Main meals not very tasty, a waste of £40 ended up in the bin.

Came down for a couple of days from Birmingham and found a diamond of a curry house. Absolutely brilliant. Will definitely go there again. The service we received from Ali could not have been any better. Everything was perfect, the food, the service and the cleanliness. Can not fault it in any way.

ordered over the phone on a MONDAY night to be told it would be a 1 hour wait for delivery 2 hours later, still here waiting for our food phoned the restaurant to be hung up on won’t be returning, awful service from start to finish, not the first time we have had a late delivery either!! usually something is missing as well, don’t waste your time. **update** foods arrived 2 hours 15 minutes later, freezing cold, poppadoms stale, missing items, hilarious really

Great food but extremely disappointed with how late our order was! I had to chase restaurant and suddenly our delivery time went from 7:20pm to 7:40pm when I chased at 7:33pm! very disappointing and will have to consider whether we order from them again to be honest!

When ordering delivery time 60-80 minutes, once ordered it was estimated at 80-100 Didn’t arrive after 105 mins so messaged and then changed to another 35 mins despite it saying on the tracking it was on its way! Ordered 6:14pm, arrived 8:43pm!

very poor quality curry’s, pathia was just a basic curry with red food colouring in it, dhansak was a bhuna with a few lentils in it chicken tikka was cubes with red food colouring wont be ordering again , buyers beware

The food is top notch, but if it arrives on time is another story. I dont mind waiting, but when I come to collect my food at the time stated, I don't expect to arrive just to sit and wait for an extra 25 mins. I also didn't appreciate the attitude over the phone. Ask one question about your order and you're suddenly made to feel like you're wasting their time. But the food is very good.

I’ve ordered from Zaks many times and this is the first disappointing one. I received a wrong item (so no rice!), no salad with starter, plus half of the chicken tikka was gristly. Even the poppadoms were greasy! The food was lukewarm, and I wouldn’t mind so much if the everything else was good.

Always 10/10! Won’t order anywhere else!

Placed order at 8pm on a Saturday night to be told it would be half an hour and agreed to this, rang up at 9pm to be told food was already out for delivery, a mother half hour had past still no delivery, rang up again to be told food was just getting packed up and would be the next order to leave, when I said I was told it would be 8:30 I was told that it was me that must have got this information wrong, shocking!!!!! Don’t order from here, or do but ring up the day before. Absolutely dreadful, they need to give their heads a wobble.

Food was nice, I'd give it another shot. Don't serve alcohol but you can take your own in.

I'm in Weston-super-Mare for the weekend with my sis and decided to order a delivery from Zaks' kitchen. Oh my goodness I'm so glad we stumbled across this gem of an eatery. We ordered a delivery and I can honestly say it was the most delicious Indian food I've ever eaten. The service was excellent and I will definitely order from here whenever I'm back in the area. Superb food. Thank you 😊

Had a takeaway sensory overload, spices unbelievable, tastebud explosion absolutely delicious, very good value for money will definitely order again would highly recommend 5 +++++

I do not like leaving poor reviews however on this occasion I have to. The plus - Plenty of food, the poppadoms with the onions etc were lovely. The meat portions on the dishes I ordered were plentiful. The rice dish was lovely as was the Potato dish. So what went wrong? I ordered Lamb Tikka Masala and to ensure there was enough meat, I ordered a separate dish of Lamb Tikka. I have to say, the Lamb was AWFUL. It was the most driest, toughest meat I have ever had. I tried to persevere chewing away at it, however it was just too tough. Considering the price, the quality was just not there. Tough as old boots comes to mind. Every piece of Lamb was totally inedible and I ended up throwing it away. I will order again from here, the same dish but chicken not Lamb!

Indian food is something I shy away from after some bad experiences ,but the meal I had was excellent

The curry here is the best in town, never fails to hit the spot.

Food was great but we waited 2.5 hours! I phoned 1.5 hours after ordering to be told it was on its way. It was then a further 1 hour before it arrive. Clearly they had forgotten our order, cooked it after I called and then delivered it asap. Frustrating as such great food!

Ordered lamb biryani, we all enjoyed it immensely. freshly cooked & piping hot. delivery time was on the dot.

No alcohol is served but you can take your own. We did seem to wait a while to be served but the food was amazing. It was busy and loud but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The food is all freshly cooked, it's not a place to go for a quick meal as its a very relaxed atmosphere but we had a nice evening.

Went here for Father’s Day. Will never go again! Fantastic restaurant when it was in Worle and we were regulars. Had to wait 1 1/2 hours for our starters to come out so we left before our mains. We’re told numerous times food was on its way. When we left , we were told it was because they were busy because of takeaway orders! Surely you look after your restaurant business first. A real let for our table of 6 especially for my 84 year old father.

Ordered a delivery for the first time since Zaks moved to Whitecross Road . The food arrived in good time and was hot. It was all well cooked but a little sweet for my taste. Could have also been a tiny bit spicier too. Prices are the same as other Indian take aways. Good selection of dishes available on their menu.

On a recommendation from neighbour, took their advice and ordered a small meal last night for a delivery out to the outskirts of Bleadon and Weston. Result: excellent - so pleased with it, definitely the best home delivered meal ever!

Food was lovely but order was missing 2 portions of pilau rice which ruined the meal.

Highly recommended! Amazing authentic indian food. Great choice of dishes on the menu menu . Great portions with extra side dishes if required. New venue, only been open 4 months. It's a little away from Weston-Super-Mare city centre, but well worth it. It's tucked in a sort of residential area, 5 mins drive from city centre, 10 mins walk from the station, 6 mins from the beach. Atmosphere was a little quiet at times with the music not loud enough to drown out other people talking, it's a long venue, currently with limited decor. But evolving. I will definitely go again and look forward to the decorations and food. Service was good, and you can bring your own alcohol.

Ordered food for delivery. Food arrived cold. Naan bread burnt and seriously lacked flavour. Only ordered my usual was shut and definitely will not be ordering from here again. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The second order I've had from here and it is wonderful food really tasty big thumbs up.

Have been getting food from Zak's since they opened in Worle. Have had countless meals from there, never eaten in yet, but I couldn't count how often we've had food from there. Recently they've moved over into Weston so a bit out of the way for us but luckily they deliver. Just had a meal delivered and it was as absolutely delicious as it always is. This place has never ever disappointed, some of the best dishes I've had at any curry house in the southwest. The delivery is always rapid and the drivers always polite and courteous. We don't even say "let's get a takeaway", we say "let's get a Zak's". Great value, great food.

If you’re looking for an Indian takeaway or est in, this is the place! Best Indian food in Weston super Mare, hands down, nothing to complain about, end of story.

Takeaway in Worle was okay but restaurant staff very unfriendly and awkward

Very neat,tidy and welcoming entrance.The restaurant has been tastefully updated and it is all clean and tidy. There is a good range of dishes and the service is excellent. No alcohol is seved but you may take your own and corkage is free. I can highly recommend a visit there and will be visiting again soon

Food tasted good but was stone cold

We ordered a take away this evening, my partner had chicken tikka curry, and I had vegan papri chat and sobzi Badami. I can honestly say it was the nicest indian meal I have had by far. My partner said his was lovely too. We will definately be eating in next time as the atmosphere in the restaurant was fantastic!

What happened? The chicken has been so tough last two orders since moved?

Collected a take away. Simply a great meal, good sized portion for dinner.

After seeing some good reviews we decided to pay a visit. Waited a long 50 minutes for food and was not told there was a long wait time on arrival. The bright white lights beaming down are very unrelaxing and the noise was unbearable. We were not asked how our food was during our meal or after if we wanted a dessert. Very basic customer service not offered there. I had a veg korma which was very nice, hence the 2 stars. My partner on the other hand, after eating the king prawn curry, two hours later had pains in his stomach and was violently sick several times in the night. I contacted the restaurant and at the very least I would have expected a refund for his meal, but no.

Great food but the delivery time is outrageous. It’s up to 2 hours now at weekends. They’re clearly busy, surely it would make sense to hire another delivery driver for their busiest nights. We’ve started going elsewhere because of the slow delivery times. Not as good as Zak’s, but we’re not waiting 2+ hours at least.

Ate there this evening, the food was amazing, so fresh and perfectly cooked. The new restaurant is spotless.

Collected a fantastic meal last night. We had king prawn pathia, butter chicken, garlic naan, chicken madras, sag aloo & pilau rice. Absolutely delicious, wouldn't go anywhere else, best in Weston!

Best Indian I've had in a while and ideal cheat meal.

Came to WSM for the 1st time and being an Indian i love eating Indian food in different part of the world. Tried their food last night it was lovely. I loved the Prawns madras, Lamb tikka bombay masala was perfectly cooked and tasty and tried a very new dish which i never had before, Chicken Chaat damn that was something new and totally different. Guys I would definitely recommend Zak’s if you're around.

Birthday treat from my wife/daughter. What a surprise. Lovely clean environment with plenty of customers even at 6.30pm. Food excellent and service exceptional. Thoroughly recommend.

ordered food at 6pm & by 9pm it still hadn't arrived. Justeat app stated food had been delivered & there was no answer from the restaurant. In the end I drove down to the restaurant & collected my food (eventually) Given 1 bottle of J20 as way of an apology! Food was very good but service was terrible.

Food is to standard, delivery poor! Advertising on their website 55mins. 90 mins later food arrives. This a constant problem with this restaurant.

Placed my order at 6:50 it finally arrived at 10:20 I sent the food back as we ordered elsewhere. I expect a refund at the very least!

I ordered it at 19:01 it came at 21:34. The time window I was given after ordering was 20:45-21:05 I called around 19:30 to ask why/ if it would take this long they said no they just make the slot large as to not disappointed people. He said it will most likely come before my slot and I said okay. I then called again at 21:05 so the back end of my slot and he said the driver will be back soon to pick mine up. It then came at 21:34. 2 HOURS & 33 MINS later! Both cheese naans were cold! Disappointed

ordered at 6:30, expected time originally was 7:55 then got moved to 8:20/8:40 then got moved to 9:30, it's now 10pm & I still haven't eaten. full refund please. poor service.

Ordered delivery 17.45 told 19.15 which was ok. 3 hrs still waiting. Very disappointing, used to be excellent and on time. Shame on you!!!!

Missing naan bread - so none to have with my food

Live just around the corner and was looking forward to it opening, went in ordered got good and took it home, when opened it they had added a lot of coconut to the sauce when i asked for no added coconut, rang up and got fibbed off will never use this place again, we would of ordered a few times a week so you have lost business with your attitude when you have just opened, also have reviews from months ago which is a lie as they just opened last Tuesday do seem to be pulling the wool over peoples eyes,m.

Our first curry we had, was delicious, delivered food was hot. Are second curry tonight was bland, warm at best, a real disappointment.
