Food was absolutely beautiful and delicious! Shame that the drink I ordered didn’t arrive with the food!

Worst Indian. Chicken tasted like it had washed in fairy liquid. Could not eat it.

POPPADOMS .. omg awful. 😢 never again. Burning 🔥 with spice it’s meant to be a lamb dopiaza not vindaloo ! Even the bhajis are over spiced like crazy 🤪 I only tried them cos my usual “ Chutney’s “ i couldn’t get through to on mobile . Lesson learnt and £19 down the drain. ( was via deliverOO). It’s THAT burning hot I won’t eat more and I’ll chuck it in the bin.

We really weren't impressed tonight. Driver had to come back twice due to part of the order missing. Asked for a certain curry mild but it was anything but mild and the nann breads were soggy such a same as its usually really nice.

Food was excellent and arrived piping hot. The only issue we had was that it arrived 30 mins ahead of the scheduled delivery time and without any prior warning it had been dispatched. This isn’t the first time it had happened when ordering from here.

Second order just as good as the first. My new favourite Indian in Weston.

Ordered delivery, food arrived faster than time that was scheduled. Food was good standard. Only issue were bhajis were quite dry / overcooked. Restaurant listened to request and prices are low for Indian food

Amazing. The best curry I’ve had in Weston for years. Since Zak’s moved into town and King Sulayman closed in Worle we’ve been bouncing around a few places. So pleased we tried Popadoms. Can’t wait to order again this week, seriously good food. Hope it stays this way for a long time to come.

All packages were soaked, not sure what’s happened but definitely not packed properly. Food tastes ok but chicken a bit hard to chew which really unusual for this restaurant.

Awful business, food and service, family had been coming for years but just recently outside the shop witnessed a staff member threaten a member of public with getting a knife out of the kitchen to “slit his throat with” appalling service will not be back after this. Hoping this review doesn’t lead to me being threatened this way!

No words can describe how disgusting the food was absolutely terrible. I would not recommend to anybody not even a dog to eat from this place.

I was walking past the venue and noticed a member of staff shouting abuse to elderly man, i overheard the man saying that his wife was in the local charity shop and the man’s car was parked just shy of a ft off the drive and that his wife would only be 2 seconds. In reply to this the staff member got very agitated and started swearing at the elderly man. This is where I overheard the staff saying “I’ll go inside, get a knife and cut your throat” This is absolutely shocking ! I can not believe the vile language this staff member was using and the fact that he threatened this member of public with a knife, especially with all the horrible knife crime that is taking place at the moment! This is totally unacceptable and disgusting! I advise nobody to go here !!!

Food was cold and potatoes under cooked, usually love the food here

first time ordering from this restuarant food was hot on arrival.large portions,very tasty. will deffinately use this restaurant again. highly recomend

The rice and naans were nice, as well as my prawn cocktail starter. poppadoms crunchy and fresh. but unfortunately the main curries were so full of grease, it leaked through the containers and the paper bags they came in. My bag that had my curry in was almost transparent with how much oil is soaked up (the bag coverI left about half of my curry, but my partner managed to eat about two thirds of his butter chicken more out of hunger than finding it appealing, his looked a bit better than mine.

8 years of being a regular, very satisfied customer; usually an order of at least every once every fortnight. I am now changing my review from 5 stars down to 3. Food is lovely but now no difference in quality or price to rivals. Prices have shot up and no longer stands out above the rest. The day after each order I used to get a polite message from the owner the day after, asking if I enjoyed my recent meal. It showed they really care and pride in their work. Now, the online ordering service keeps failing to take card payments which is frustrating. Especially as I had to make phone order today, only to speak to someone who sounded half a sleep and had to keep asking them if they were still there as kept having long pauses of silence and wasn't confident that they listened to my order correctly. I was right. I think that Pappadoms have taken on too much since expanding into chicken wraps and other foods. They really should have stuck to what they were good at. It's a real shame as I used to recommend Pappadoms friends and associates. Can't say that I will recommend them now.

I ordered a southern fried chicken strip meal and a cheesecake which comes with ice creams. Receiving my order, the bag was soaking wet, the chips were soggy and lots of grease at the bottom of the box, the chicken strips were more like cheap gojons, the cheesecake came with no ice cream, was also chewy as if it was still frozen. The drink was warm. Not ordering again and would like my money back.

just eat sent me a 30% discount to use at pappadoms, by email, there was no way to use it?

Nothing to complain, food delivered hot, very good taste. Meals are big. We order time by time, and never disappointed. Only wish to open as restaurant to be able to eat at spot🙂

Food was nice but unfortunately forgot our rice so had tikka masala with no rice 🤷‍♀️

I wouldn't even bother. We got big portions but it tasted awful. We threw it away. It was oily, salty and just disgusting. So disappointed as I've ordered from here a couple times before and was pretty happy. Never again !!

Ordered a tikka masala with pilau rice, naan and onion bhaji starter. Was for 2 of us and could have fed 4. All delicious too. Thank you for the card too!

Never written a review before but this food was so so awful the onion bhajis were raw and really mushy inside the curry the chicken had a funny taste and the sauce was really runny called store to tell them they were really rude 35 pound and it was inedible so was thrown away as the restaurant refused to come and collect the food to see how bad it was

Gotta say every single order I've ever had from this Indian is fantastic. Good size portions and very tasty. Each curry is individual unlike some other takeaways who use same sauce for different dishes. Keep up the great work guys you are appreciated.

What a disappointment not had a curry from here in a while. Not quite sure what was going on with the chicken tasted like plastic. Sauce not like it used to be from the first taste knew this was not going to be good Naan bread and popadums lovely Such a shame not sure if it was an off night or the quality is not as good

Delicious and large portions. Arrived in good time and the delivery driver was very pleasant. They even gave me complimentary popadoms, salad and dips and a thoughtful little Christmas prezzie. I ordered from here because it is local to me and they do a lot of community/charity work. Well done to you.

Many years ordering from here and always been very up and down. Food always looks and tastes different with different chefs so never guaranteed to have a nice curry. But last nights curry will be my last ever order from here as I’ve now got food poisoning from here 😞

We used to use Papadoms often but after hearing bad reviews we stopped. After about 3 years we decided to give them a try again and to be fair, all three meals were awful, non of us finished them. We won’t be using them again.

So received my butter chicken the meat was very very dry and firm and it was the only curry on the order so rang up to be answered by some jumped up chef claiming it’s dry and tough because we asked for madras spice in the curry well that’s a first for me that spices dry insides of meat out, I have no idea where all the good Indians in town learnt to keep there chicken moist in a madras probably hogwarts seen as it’s impossible oh and he said if he re made it it would be exact same and he wasn’t lying either just as vile maybe buy a better cut of meat and learn how to cook it . !!

Delivery driver lovely. Someone reviewed the food as too salty and I should of listened. My dansak which should be predominantly lentils had about 2 in there. Pure salt overload. Not your usual sweet and sour. Only a Tad sweet when mango chutney went with it. Drank half a litre of lucozade to wash the salt away after. I wouldn't order again unfortunately 😕

Brilliant food, what's more to say

Asked the woman who took my order whether the dish I was about to order contained bell-peppers: I was told no. When I got home, I discovered I had been misinformed.....thanks for that. I wasn't too impressed with any of it TBH. Maybe I caught them on an 'off-day'.

Got a takeaway from here through uber eats. Naan bread and rice were as expected but the masala sauce and the madras was very paste like and grainy was not a nice texture at all. I do not like to leave bad reviews so pappadoms if you see this, maybe you can take this on board. Have been to 4 different indian restaurants in weston and the sauce is always silky smooth. Tastes like they have made up a spicy paste stirred it in and served it without giving it enough time to cook leaving a grainy spice texture.
