Ordered takeaway for delivery on New Years Eve, but the food didn't arrive! Tried phoning several times, but no answer. Eventually got in contact with them 2.5 hours later & they had the cheek to say your food is ready, we will deliver it now. I said it's too late, I want a refund. I was told I had to go the restaurant with my bank card for my refund. I refused to do this & they eventually agreed to refund me over the phone. Absolutely shocking & will never be ordering from them again!!!

Fantastic food - best curry ever! We came here once a few months ago with our children and it was so good we went out of our way to come back as a couple last night. We arrived at about 9pm after a few drinks across the road. We had booked a table and this was downstairs. We experienced good service and the food was amazing. The chicken tikka karahi was particularly good, and the garlic naan crispy and flavoursome. The starters were very tasty as well. We got a complimentary shot at the end which was also a nice touch. It’s definitely a place to return with friends, however a bit of an upgrade on the toilets upstairs would be welcomed.

This was an amazing takeaway. Herbs and spices used so skillfully. You were able to savour the taste. Especially recommend the Everest Chicken

Food arrived hot and portion sizes was great. Rly good food and good value. Order was slightly late but that could be the fault of uber eats’s timing estimation. Would recommend.

My family and I have enjoyed numerous takeaways from The Old School House, and we've even brought relatives down from London to dine in. Without a doubt, it's the best curry in Ashford!

Amazing place , amazing food 5 star , it is my local , lived in the area my whole life and found this little diamond from my girlfriend, would never go anywhere else Staff are very friendly and the food is amazing, if you want a great Indian this is the place.

Ordered the small mixed grill and masala chips. Both were absolutely fantastic. Drinks were reasonably priced and just overall fantastic experience. Have recommended to other people since who happened to be going nearby and they also said it was a great time getting food from here.

Had a delivery takeaway and we are not far away but got delivered a cold meal , very disappointed , wasted £20

We had a takeaway drawn in with the text that the Elaichi was back. Well we were told by the automated system it would be 1.5 hrs but it was more like 2.5 hrs, each time I called to chase why he hadn’t delivered, it was , the driver had just left, it was all cobblers, don’t know why I bothered as the food was awful the worst I’ve ever had, both meals were made with Tomato soup the Indian takeaway cheat ingredient and were watery awfulness - that’s the Chicken tikka masala and Murgh chicken both should have had creamy sauces but alas the tomato soup couldn’t thicken them enough. The only nice thing was the nan bread the day old popadoms and lack of onion salad that was ordered really was the final straw - £55 for two people us £55 I’ll never want to spend there again! Whatever happened to the old Elaichi, should have remained closed…
