The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

The food here is the best in West Bromwich! The chefs are Nepali so the food is very high quality. The Dahl, Bindi, chicken curry, butter chicken are all absolutely delicious! They have a great choice of drinks as well. Service is friendly and price is very reasonable.

We love this place. The food is fantastic with lots of interesting variety and not covered in oil. The staff are welcoming and always friendly. They remember their regulars. Our go to curry in the area and loved everyone we take.

40+ booked.food pre ordered so that meals could be served together. Arrived 7.30. starter at 9.00. left at 11.00 with no sign of my main course coming. Owner should have cancelled booking as obviously no staff on the day.

I ordered my first takeaway from Red Rose last night & I was very impressed. the food was succulent, delicious & plentiful pus the two salads supplies were as fresh as a daisy. I am looking forward to working my way through the menu when I can, but I am not long out of hospital & have a very poor appetite at the moment. That said I ate every scrap last night. Hopefully this could be my way back to better health for 2025. Great work guys. much appreciated.

Not as nice as usual every thing was too spicy

I've been ordering from this place for years now. Occasionally I try elsewhere when eating at friends houses locally, and it's no where near as good. The food is always delivered hot. The ingredients are fresh, and the dishes delicious. Way better value than most other options as well. Order from their own website. I was surprised to see their rating slip slightly. It makes me think it's the competition playing games. By far the best place in town. I think once you try you will never leave them. They've never let me down ever. Fantastic every single time.

First time ordering home delivery. Used to eat in the restaurant when it was open, which was good. Home delivery is very basic. No complimentary poppadoms. My meat was very dry and overcooked. The meal was edible, but nothing special. Won't bother again.

Food was lovely, needs a re vamp as decor is a bit rough but was there to eat and wasn't disappointed! Food and service both great

I rate this takeaway as 1 of the best in a 10 mile radius . Growing up and going to school in Rusholme Manchester around around the curry mile and spending a lot of time both working and holidaying in INDIA,i feel i can class myself as a connoisseur when it comes to knowing the diffrence between an excellent curry and a poor run of the mill one.

Went for a family meal with a toddler. We ordered the both the chicken and veggie momos and crispy aubergine, which was lovely, to start. The momos were water logged and not really what I would call monos but chicken kebabs in momo wraps. The mains were ridiculously chilli. To the point where all 4 adults were unable to eat much of the food. My dad eats green chilli's with every meal and even he found the food chilli. We ordered the chicken, lamb pots and aa veg biriyani, which was also ridiculously spicey. We ordered mild veg rice which the veg was burnt. Such a shame that the food was inedible.

This is simply the best Indian food we have ever had. And we have had a lot. I have also spent months in India on numerous occasions and both my partner and I literally crave this food. Amazing vegan options and dietary requirements considered. The menu is diverse, exciting and ridiculously full of flavour. The staff are beyond friendly and polite greeting us with a warm smile every time. I just saw a 2 star review below which appeared to be purely because the restaurant were run off their feet by being busy. This would be because they simply serve the best Indian food I ever encountered and suggest it is always worth the wait. Bravo Spice Merchants. We cherish you. Rob and Laura :)

The lamb curry was poor - 6 miniscule pieces of not very great lamb. The curry sauce itself was ridiculously poor. I will never order from Sukhi's again.

Everything was incredibly tasty. Probably the best patia I've ever had.

Not the usual takeaway service, standard of food or delivery. I think it may be under new ownership.
