Excellent restaurant. Really recommend a visit. Beautiful location. Amazing menu.

I eat here at least monthly and the food is always great, and the staff are welcoming. Its also good value for money. I highly recommend the Chicken Tikka Jalfrezi.

Great night (as always) at Little India. We always have Chicken Tikka and Chicken Pasanda Rice, and add a couple of sides. Excellent service as well which is good as it was busy. Best Indian in the area.

The service was great, the food was delicious. My only one criticism would be the that the food comes out too quickly denying you the chance to unwind and socialise. However, I'm sure if you was to ask the staff to spread it out about I'm sure they would. Lovely to get a complementary drink at the end of the meal. Overall would highly recommend!

We went out on a Friday evening to Little India with another married couple and were immediately impressed by the fact we were given a warm and friendly greeting as we arrived. Within a few minutes, a waiter arrived to take our order for drinks, and a little while later, he took our order for our meal. Our food was not only hot and tasty, but also the portions were substantial. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lively, relaxed and good natured, which meant we were able to hold a conversation with ease. Considering our drinks and food, I think in my humble opinion, Little India is exceptionally good value and I would certainly recommend it as a great place to eat out.

My wife and I went last night after being let down by another, new / local restaurant. Was able to squeeze us in (even though we hadn't booked) the food was excellent and the staff were really friendly. Will definitely be back soon.

Love Little India. It's not pretentious, or snobby, or trying to be something it isn't. What it is, is great food, great service, great staff and a great meal out.

I would call this place as Indian food for non-Indians. Firstly the service is really bad. We ordered mixed grill, naga biryani and chicken xacuti. The naga biryani was super spicy (even for me and I am born and raised in India), the chicken in xacuti and grill was basically same, just that one was dry and other was gray. This was by no means a xacuti curry. I am just wondering why have 100s of dishes on the menu when you cant even be half close to how they are made! Absolute worst Indian food I have eaten!

Just discovered this wonderful restaurant in Petts Wood, we tried a takeaway a few weeks previously,it was really good, so decided to book for early on a Saturday evening. We were given the window table which was nice, food was excellent and staff were extremely friendly and attentive. We will definitely be visiting again soon

Have ordered from this restarant and eaten in many times but their service for take aways/ deliveries is terrible. The food quality is not as good as if you eat in. The delivery times quoted are incredibly unrealistic and when chased the staff are rude.

I've just pick up my order from restaurant very disappointed with the food tasteless I've call and told them im not happy with the food he was very Confrontational I will never go or use that restaurant again the food is disgusting.

CLAUSTROPHOBIC AND COMPACT !!! FAR TOO CRAMMED IN THERE !!!! Too many tables and chairs crammed in to get as many customers into a small space. It’s called LITTLE for a reason !!!! Food was ok , service was poor they just want you to eat and go, Bombay aloo was left out when serving food and then arrived when we were nearly finished. No privacy whatsoever as chairs and tables far too close to each other so you can hear other customers conversations. Would not go back ! No After Eights some other cheap chocolates. You are literally almost sitting on each other’s lap in this place !!!!

Definitely would not visit this restaurant again ,the chicken tikka dhansak was the worst one I’ve tried to eat no lentils in it ,tasted of red chilli paste powder over spiced and runny consistency of some kind of chilli sauce also the meat thali was over spiced and vegetable side dishes with undercooked vegetables.no effort from the waiting staff ,considering there was only 6 xpeople in there ,not asking if our the food was okay. big effort to pull the table forward to let my wife sit down which in the end I done it seemed like the waiting staff did not want to be there or they was just keen to get back to talk to the takeaway customers overpriced food poor staff attention

The worst chicken tikka dhansak I’ve eaten where was the lentils in it .it was blitzed with red chilli powder that made it taste of dry paste and too spicy and a runny consistency of red hot curry sauce .The side dishes were no better also the Thali meal was poor with over spiced food hard vegetables .it was an effort from the waiter who debated whether he was going to pull the table forward to let my wife sit down which I done in the end .No effort in asking if the food was okay etc it seemed that the waiting staff did not want to be there or that they was too keen to chat to the people who came in for takeaways so basically overpriced food for poor meal and service

OK, we have been here 3 times and out of the 3 we have had 2 bad experiences. The food has always been good. The service good. However we have basically sat on the laps of other customers and this is not good enough. I come to a restaurant to enjoy a meal with whoever I come with and at little India they are really interested in getting you crammed in and getting you out. Not good enough.

Best prawn korma iv ever eaten but was given a green chilli Nan which really spoiled it as I hate spicy food would definitely try again

Hadn't used Little India for a long while but ordered a Chicken dansak takeaway amongst other things. Despite chicken dnsak being written on the box it turned out to be prawn dansak. Remembered why we hadn't used them for so long, same thing happened last time. If you fancy Indian Curry takeaway lottery, go ahead, but if you want to eat what you ordered, go elsewhere.

Disappointed with my food tonight, sent it back under cooked prawns. But my friends food was OK. I've eaten hear many times this is the first time I've had a ad meal. No doubt my next visit the food will be amazing.

A run of the mill average Indian restaurant. Little India could work on improving their Chicken Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken, both sauces over a number of visits consistently lacked a depth of consistency and character. Fairly priced but could do better.

Visit at least one a month. Food is always good and personel attentive. 4 starts as in my opinion they need traditional Indian deserts and not the ice cream they offer only.

Great food, couldn't fault it and the staff and ambience pleasant. Only gripe was we had some food left over and when clearing the table we asked if we could take left overs home. Consequently we had two plastic tubs brought out and we were left to clear our bowls etc. at the table. Far from ideal and we were both left embarrassed. Hence 4 stars and not 5. Will visit again but will not be making a request for a 'doggy bag' again. Left overs will have to go to waste, sadly.

Even though the food was good and the price was very affordable, the staff was not very welcoming. They do not ask you if you finished your food, the will simply take your plate off the table regardless if there is still food on it. The only times I heard their voices was when the took the orders and when they took payment. Good food, good prices, poor service.

Have eaten there for many years and today had a take away. My wife had Tandoori Chicken with rice and said it was very good. I had prawns madras with Lemon rice, Okra and Tarka Dall. The curry sauce was a big disappointment. It was thin and lacked taste. Shame as have had the dish many times before. Maybe a new chef?

This place is so hit or miss. I love the garlic naan, sag aloo, and chicken tikka. Also the onion mix with spicy poppadoms. Overall I recommend Little India. However, the paneer masala is so cloyingly sweet, something I have always known to be a savoury dish. Why so sweet?! I wish they had sag paneer as a main, it's delicious. Paneer tikka needs a lot more flavour. For takeaway: They have lots of dishes on their website for pickup that they don't have on UberEats/Deliveroo, which is frustrating. In restaurant: So much better than takeaway. Friendly service.

Terrible customer service. Have been waiting over two hours for delivery which never arrived. The person on the phone wouldn’t give any information. Won’t be ever ordering from this place!

Missed an item off an Uber delivery meaning a cross customer. However, they fixed the issue very quickly and dropped off some wine as well. So from a 1 star cross customer they have a five star happy customer. Of course I’d rather the item hadn’t been missing but the key point is it was fixed quickly and the food was tasty.

We used to live round the corner from this restaurant and used it all the time because the food was amazing. We now live in East Sussex and travelled back up to Little India after an absence of over 10 years and the food is still as fantastic as it was all those years ago and well worth a visit.

None of the four dishes ordered was satisfactory. Poor quality ingredients with very little chicken or prawn in birianis. Vegetable curry was an unpleasant yellow slurry. Rip-off for £55.

Good all round tasty meals and very filling. The only thing that puts me off ordering from there again is that you have to pick up the food yourself. If they either delivered themselves or via one of the apps, they would increase their business threefold.

Always good quality food and decent size portions. Have had several take aways from here now. Unfortunately they aren't on a delivery company so you have to click and collect. Never sat in the restaurant.

So many Indians these days aren’t what we call traditional. This place is the best we have had for a long time. Poppadoms and sauces, naan bread, mains and sides great, Irish coffee really enjoyed it all. Won’t be long before we go back.

We discovered Little India just the other day and ordered a takeaway; chicken tikka starter, onion bhajee starter, chicken jalfrezi, lamb jalfrezi, pilau rice, bhindi bhajee and papadums. As with any new order from an unfamiliar place, we were a little apprehensive with what the food would be like and we were driven by the ratings to make our choice of restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious and the best indian cuisine we have had in a long time. We will definitely be returning again and certainly recommend!

Ordered a takeaway from here on Saturday night and can only say the portion sizes are small and the Chicken Tikka Masala was nothing like I had ever tasted before, it was red, strongly flavoured with a thick sweet coconut sauce, rather sickly as was the Korma. Both dishes had chewy gristly lamb, very poor quality. The containers were full of sauces and very little meat. Very disappointed.

Been meaning to go to this restaurant for some while, some neighbours have recommended it. Went on Saturday having booked online and had an acknowledgement. Table reserved, and service was prompt without being rushed. Great variety of dishes, staff friendly, food good and reasonably priced. We shall return.

Went with a group of friends 10 in all on the 14th Aug and again with my partner on the 22nd Aug, always the same excellent food and attentive service. Still number one Indian restaurant and we have been to quite a few, always happy !

We tried this restaurant for the first time. It is rare to find good customer service however this restaurant delivers this exceptionally well. A welcoming environment, situated in a great location with suitable parking. The food was fresh, well presented and perfectly complements the Indian cuisine. Waiters were attentive and I couldn't have asked for a better time.

The Family’s regular Indian restaurant and this is not without reason. A friendly reception and great service will always make you feel at home here. Food here is well flavoured but mild enough to not scold to palette. Colourful decorations and music at the right volume give for a lively ambience.

Entré por 7. 50 pm y esperó 25 minutos, no podía pararse en el espacio pequeño y la carnicería estaba ocurriendo con órdenes de comida para llevar. El personal muy desdeñoso y grosero y son asiduos al restaurante. Después de quejarnos, uno de los camareros respondió: "Solo tengo 2 manos", nos fuimos y tomamos nuestra costumbre en otra parte. . . Restaurante muy codicioso como claramente tomando mucho. ¡Terrible! ! !
