Very good menu with lots of choice, they will always try and accommodate your needs. Very welcoming when you enter, took the time to have a chat even though the phones were constantly ringing and the food WOW, everything was piping hot and very tasty.

Ordered from Simla for the first time for a birthday meal. I'm genuinely surprised at the quality of the food. Food delivered hot, in tin, very cleanly prepared (not oily or messy like many other curry takeaways). Delivered prompto within 30 minutes. This is the best curry we had this year. Very friendly and patient staff. Love it. Keep up the great service!

Love this Indian, going there for years, always polite, always on time, make some dishes to order if you want a change, tonight I tried somewhere else (Chislehurst Indian no names but has view in it) and we were served raw chicken and a wet mess of oil. This is why I thought I'd put a review in, simla balti house dont get the recognition they deserve. I highly recommend thir food and the nans are ace.

First time and last takeaway from here... Although the other food was hot my tandoori mixed grill was luke warm at best, the only way you get cold food from a grill is if has all been pre cooked which is not the end of the world but heat it up before serving should be the easy bit. The vegetable curry that came with it was also very bland and made with frozen vegetables. When is The Taj open again????

Had chicken Korma and tikka masala both not to taste and watery. Tikka tasted of tomatoes and not sweet, would have been better with pasta. Samosas were tiny. Chicken Tikka starter and pwashri (sorry for spelling) bread okay

They are BACK! The team at Simla Balti make easily the best curry I’ve ever come across in the South East and I’m so glad they have reopened after over 3 months closure. The food is delicious, always piping hot and consistently amazing. They will customise all your favourites just how you want them, little bit hotter or not, sauce from one with chicken from another dish etc. Great prices and really friendly staff. Brilliant, brilliant takeaway. Food is always absolutely delicious and value for money wise it's unbeatable (prices are low portions are very large.) Dishes are full of flavour and plentiful ingredients. Pleasure to order over the phone and food is always delivered quickly and piping hot by happy and courteous staff. Couldn't recommend them higher - they deserve your business!

The food is consistently good and in my opinion they make the best lamb Vindaloo. They are also happy to customise the ingredients to your taste.

The 'Simla Balti House' was recommended to me by a work colleague so thought I would give it a try. The meal was tasty and enjoyable with the right amount of kick for a Madras curry just the way I like it, and also the curry portion size was acceptable too. I also ordered some onion Bhaji and these were decent too and not too greasy. This is for now, my preferred curry house at least until I find and get another better Madras locally elsewhere... The search continues... I will certainly return here soon and I would recommend if asked.

Tryed something different last night garlic chicken omg best takeaway iv e ever had my husband has his takeaway from here every week 10 out of 10 also best around

Fresh, tasty, not greasy....try the veg samosas and chicken dhansak, both delicious. And the tarkha dhal, onion bhaji, keema naan.....all delicious! They do deliver but very busy (good indication of how good the food is) so pick up is faster and you get a discount.

Edible, ok nothing much ... Food was edible and choice I'm abundance , I am very fussy with food hence the low score but the kids loved it...

Indian take away with a pretty standard menu. The food is always of a good standard and the price is fair. Never kept us waiting longer than the time they state and drivers are always polite and friendly.

This was a brilliant takeaway before. Now its just terrible first experience with the new management I ordered to collect got there and they said sorry didnt think you wanted it and had to wait 30 mins for cold foul food. Second encouter thought give them a second a chance delivery too over an hour once again cold, stale flavourless waste of money. Call the shop to speak to the manager they didnt even pick up the phone.

tried a few in the area, however Simla seems to be our favourite. food is always hot, tasty and we'll price. worth giving a go!

I have been using Simla with no complaints for almost 10yrs. However, the last 3 times we have ordered from them we have been left very disappointed. They have clearly changed chef and changed their meat supplier. The chicken was tasteless and had a really weird texture to it. The lamb was chewy. The curry bland. Really really sad as this used to be my favourite take away.

Simla Balti house is one of about 12 or 13 local curry houses that deliver to my home in the Petts Wood/Orpington area. I have ordered from there on numerous occasions and never been disappointed. 1. There is never a sloppy or oily curry with Simla, their curries are always spiced to perfection and never leave you feeling ill. 2. The price compared to the product far outweighs any other local curry house. 3. Simla have an emphasis on service. They have never been late

I've ordered here a few times before and the foods been average/good. This time however, it's arrived on time. However it's cold, the chicken is tough, poppadoms are stale. Really not a nice meal. Will try somewhere else next time

We always go to simla when we want a take out indian meal. The food is very nice and good sized portions. we tend to stick to what we have tried before so i cant comment of dishes other than the Tikka, Korma or Biriani they are all munch

As a local curry house it does what it say on the wrapper. Its cheap, its convenient, they deliver quick enough. The food is authentic British Curry house fodder, they have they a good choice of 50-60 dishes, the menu tells you how spicy/hot it is, its take-away only. The quality is a bit of an unknown factor as most things are heavily spiced up. If you cant be asked cooking or going out its an ok choice.

The quality of the food was very poor. Overly dry meat and the side dish was bland. Wouldn't go back there.
