Warning - don't go if you have a toddler or young child. They don't have high chairs and expect you to use your own seat...but they don't tell you that when you book. Booked online for 5 and wrote in the notes 4 x Adults and 1 x Toddler with High Chair please. Booking confirmation came through but at no point was there a call or email to say sorry we don't have a high chair. When we arrived, again no one said anything. We asked for the chair to be moved to put the high chair there...again nothing. It wasn't until 5 minutes later when we asked where it was to be told they didn't have one and to use our car seat. Food was nice but wouldn't say it was amazing, 2 of our group only ate half of their mains as they didn't like them. Ordered a cheese and garlic naan, it was swimming in cheese and greasy, could taste the garlic. It got busy very quickly after 6pm so was a popular place to eat but the atmosphere wasn't great as all your could hear was people shouting at eachother across the table. Very loud in there. Felt very sorry for anyone sitting next to the big group who were shouting away encouraging their kids to say the f word...lovely people.

Normally I would order for delivery. This time I popped up and placed an order, went back 30 minutes later after walking my dog and collected. I can’t lie, it was fantastic as per usual. It was so hot and succulent, the meat just melted off the bone. It’s always excellent. Also very reasonable priced, £36 for 2. Staff are friendly and so polite. Never had a bad take out. Highly recommended 👍🏻

The best Indian food in Halstead. Chicken Tikka Makhani (butter chicken) and Kuka Co Co Paka (Napalese) are amazing. We usually get takeaway, however do go there on the odd occasion. The restaurant does struggle with service during busy times, as it did last night, which is unfortunate. We were there two hours and would have preferred to have been there half that.
