Good food, good decor, great service, will definitely reccomend and revisit. Good atmosphere and nice decor. I will say one thing when we had the tea please maje sure your mugs are not chipped or have tea stains on it as this is a let down on your perfect food. Good location and parking is available.

Friendly Indian restaurant visited on a quiet Sunday night, recommended by our hotel . Very helpful waiter. Eggplant and chickpea curry was very nice, prawns korma a bit sweet. I like the big papadams they served in the UK, a nice way to start.

Great service, good portions... but the food tastes of nothing. Very disappointed.

Came on 31st January. Was there with a party of over 20 and majority of us fell poorly with D&V. Unsure if the food was prepared fresh or heated up as it was a set menu but wouldn’t recommend

We went to eat here after some very disappointing food at the Shrewsbury Hotel. The good at Cafe Saffron was really tasty. We had the whole restaurant to ourselves. We started with poppadoms and onion bhaji, which were fantastic. The starter had three onion bhaji and salad along with sauce. I then had a tawa in a sizzling skillet and my wife had chicken tikka balti. Again, both were very tasty. We finished our meal with floater coffees. Overall a very nice meal and we'd definitely go there again next time we are in Shrewsbury.

food was hot and tasty, naan breads were a bit disappointing looked more like wholemeal rather than white fluffy ones.

First time and it was excellent from the greeting to the farewell. The food was flavoursome and the presentation was very good. The staff were attentive and helpful when describing the meal content and its preparation

We enjoyed our meal here yesterday. Food was delicious and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere as well.

paid 17 pounds for a king prawn madras it turnd up water down like a soup and with only a feew small prawns

Great takeaway, not excessive portion size, would recommend to a friend
