Went for a men's curry night with 27 others from our church. Good food and a good time was had by all. Lots of choice available on the set menus. Will definitely be going back.

Was supposed to attend with husband and friend, unfortunately the friend took ill. Great service again from the lovely Rupert and his helper, who this time was called Paris, or something similar. Tried the Masala Fries, which unfortunately were not our cup of Tea, but if you dont try you dont know. Apart from the fries, the meal was phenominal again. A second shout out about the Peshwari Naan, which was a culinary thing of beauty. Didnt take photos of food this time, but got a great photo with Rupert, the Host with the most. Cant wait to be back, just a shame its 2 buses to get there. Some great nearby bars which make the commute more tollerable.

Was a little worried after reading some of the negative reviews, however, what we experienced was second to none. We did the 5 course for £20 and it did not disappoint. The food was all very tasty with potions that filled you. The Peshwari Naan deserves a special mention as it was sublime. Take your own alcohol in makes the meal even cheaper too. There's a Coop across the road which offers a range of Beers etc 2x large bottles for £5. If ever in Beeston, please do check them out. You won't be disappointed. Our servers Rupert and Foxy were very attentive. I thought one was the owner, but he informed me he wasn't but they all benefit from the restaurant doing well. I wish them all the success in the world and urge you to visit if ever close. In addition, there's some nice bars on the strip so makes for a lovely night.

Lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere, prompt, friendly and efficient service from Rupert! Delicious food and helpful advice on where to purchase alcohol if we wanted, although I think it's a great feature that they do not serve alcohol, gives a really positive message. Great quality and value for money offer of 5 courses for £19.95!

Great food, attentive and personalised service. Brought out a little cake with a candle when they heard someone wish me a happy birthday. Reasonable prices and you can bring your own alcohol.

Excellent food and delivery. Ordered through beeston eats and arrived exactly when it said it would. Having used other local indian restaurants this is the best one I have found in a long time. The value for money is amazing. Will be back next week, thank you.

Brilliant food, the service is very good and friendly with regulars coming in showing that is a place to keep you coming back! We've been 3 times now and have 3 courses with loads of sides and it usually comes to around £30-40 each, which is great for the quality. Bring your own bottle is also much appreciated too, it's very affordable to have a full night out there.

Been here around 4-5 times and can’t wait to come back again, never disappoints and is honestly and easily one of the best curry houses in the whole of East Midlands area. They still do the best peshwari nan in the WORLD and the options are phenomenal. I never struggle to eat as a vegetarian as everything can be had veggie, but there is a myriad of meat choices too. Thank you Cottage Balti for never letting me down - truly my favourite curry in the world. Big shout out to Raja for being the absolute best. Cottage Balti simply wouldn’t be the same without him. I haven’t been for around half a year, but he still remembered me after all this time despite me looking completely different now, and asked about my family who I came with before. What an absolutely lovely man, I wish him all the best.

I was first taken to the Cottage Balti by friends who live locally and I'm so glad they introduced me to it! The staff are super friendly and the food is delicious. They have several things on the menu that you might not have seen before; I've been 3 times now and have chosen something different every time and have not been disappointed. The cherry on the cake is that this restaurant is a bring-your-own-bottle place, so, with a well stocked supermarket directly opposite, it's very straightforward to take the drink of your choice and keep the price right down. I'm looking forward to going back soon.

Lovely food. Everyone in our party agreed that the quality was good BUT... The portions are miniscule! I'd say a curry, which costs £14 without rice and bread, is 2 heaped dessert spoons worth! I know it's BYOB, but I still expect to be satisfied (not stuffed, mind) when I spend £20 on a main. It's a shame because otherwise it's lovely and probably the tastiest curry in Beeston, but we won't be back for these miserly portions.

This restaurant deletes reviews!!!!! I will keep posting. Absolutely terrible place. Took 2 hours to receive our starters. I don't know why we stayed so long. When we asked where our food was we were told they were busy with people upstairs. My naan bread arrived after I had finished my food!! The table next to us also waited nearly 2 hours for their food and when they wanted to leave, they were told they had to pay as the chef had started cooking!!😂😂 joke of a restaurant. Will never be back and suggest you don't bother either!!!

Google doesn't allow negative stars but id love to give negative stars for service to this place. The food, once we got it, was ok. Middle of the road curry, so nothing to shout about but nothing to complain about either. The service however was terrible, there were more than enough staff on so I'm genuinely perplexed as to why it took 2 hours to get out main course. We then had to wait a further 10 for our naan bread, at which point we'd eaten the curry already! Went 7 years ago and gave it a 2 stars so very sad it's not got any better.

The starters were excellent and the main dishes were even better. Had some of the chef's specials with a couple of vegetable sides, all of which was extremely enjoyable. Staff very helpful and not overbearing. Took our own beers with us too.

This was our regular Indian takeaway however won’t be ordering again. They forgot the popadoms, chips soggy and one curry tasted or pure salt and the other was completely bland. Very disappointing.

We often dine at The Cottage Balti but we visited this evening with my mum and sons and as usual the food was fantastic and the customer service is excellent. One of our fave local restaurants.

honestly was really looking forward to our order, unfortunately it was just ok but not great. lots of sauce but very little meat in the dishes, ordered lamb but got chicken & less than half a chicken breast in each portion. all in tiny pieces, fortunately we ordered an extra starter portion. Flavour was alright but bland in comparison to other takeaway's we've ordered & the naan bread was like dry wholemeal bread. Unfortunately we definitely won't be ordering again.

I have visited this restaurant many times when I come to visit family and friends in Nottingham. Always excellent food and service. Tonight I had chicken tikka jalfrezi, my son had lamb bhuna and our friend had lamb desai. Side dishes bhindi baji and sag aloo. All excellent. Staff very friendly. Restaurant isn’t licensed but you can bring your own beer. Will keep coming and would recommend very highly.

Had a lovely (walk in) meal here. The food was great and service was great too. As they don’t have an alcohol license we bought wine from the coop across the road. There was no corkage charge. Would definitely visit again

Food was ready to collect early which was great! All the food was lovely and there was a good selection of veggie options. Only thing was the Masla chilli chips were a little disappointing, they weren't very strong flavoured but that could just be personal preference 🍟😊

Cottage Balti cheated us. After a good meal, they refused to honour the fixed-price offer that was on posters all around the restaurant. The argument over the bill ruined our evening. We will never eat there again.
