missing two curry's, everything was stone cold by time delivery

food was nice as always. but it wasn't what I ordered.

food was lovely, arrived super hot and fresh. 100% reccomend the chicken rogan josh as was so flavourful and nice change from my usual masala! :)

Each year we come to Centreparcs, and Saturday night we visit modhu mitha. One of the nicest Indians we have ever had! Fantastic food, reasonably priced and friendly staff, highly recommend. *Updated May 25 - 3 years now and still amazing!

this is by far the best Indian in mansfield, never had a problem never had any issues , friendly delivery drivers , even when I collect the staff there are so nice and polite , would recommend to everyone

Came here for a friend’s birthday. Friendly greeting on arrival. All the staff were friendly. The food was fantastic and served fairly quickly. I would have given 5 stars but the order was slightly messed up a couple of times. Not all poppadoms ordered were sent, one of the naan breads was different to what was ordered and only 3 liquor coffees were sent but 4 were ordered. This was quickly rectified and didn’t show incorrectly on the bill

the lamb was chewy and fatty the chips were cold and the chicken were tough

Everything was great as usual. Great value for money for what you get. We never order from anywhere else.

Can't comment on atmosphere as it was takeaway delivery, took its sweet time food came full of flavour n warm which is fine I get they're probably busy but lack of chicken in curry at most 5 big bits, pickles naan bhaji rice poppadoms all nice full of flavour would eat again but probably in rather than order out

Even though they was experiencing technical difficulties with their internet/phone service, when we managed to get through, they was still very pleased to take our order and deliver on time and the food was Delicious and the portions generous! Modhu used to be our go too, never had a bad meal but sadly the last 3 times now the delivery has taken ages (2hours +) the food cold and the taste just lacking. A real shame, I don’t know if they have been taken over recently but it’s a real shame. Used to be excellent

Came here for the first time after our awful experience at Waterlily Restaurant. Thank god it was lovely and a real treat. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find a good Indian restaurant as our previous visit to Waterlily was truly horrendous. You’ve gained a new customer :) will be returning.

I placed the order at 1815 for delivery at 1915. The order arrived after 2000 very disappointed. I was offered £3 back for my order. What a joke this is ........... I paid £1.99 for delivery. So I have been offered £1.01 for a meal that was over 45 min late and affected the rest of our evening

Had a takeaway delivered on Friday night. I was happy I could pre order, and food arrived within 5 minutes of the time. Our previous delivery was flawless. Tonight's chips and bread arrived near enough stone cold and the Currys could have been warmer for sure. Keeping the food warm when out for a delivery in a car is easy hence the disappointment of last night 😔

Amazing food, you can see that the chefs put a lot of attention into each dish. the best Indian restaurant in Mansfield. Had a good laugh with the staff. Not expensive.

💚 Update 💚 After initially giving a one star review 4 years ago I’ve changed it to a four star ⭐️ We thought we’d try Modhu again 4 years later & I’m so pleased we did as it’s back to how it used to be 🤩 We’ll definitely be back again very soon 👍 (This negative review is from 4 years ago) We’ve been using Modhu Mitha for about 15 years & absolutely loved the food. But sadly the quality & taste of the food is not up to their usual standards 🙁 The Bombay potatoes tasted like tinned ones with hardly any flavour. Our tikka was nice but the garlic naan had about two chunks of garlic in so had no flavour either. And the chicken madras was a different recipe (not nice either) & the chicken was very tough with a strong smell. We spent £62, so expect quality to be better. We were really looking forward to this takeaway after being in lockdown for months. So sad because Modhu Mitha was our favourite Indian restaurant but will be trying a new one next time 😕

The food was well spiced, tasty and a nice texture, delivery was a little late but it was snowing so can't really blame them for that.

The food was beautiful, really fresh and tasty. Great portion size and arrived hot. It arrived 2 hours late but it was new years eve, so they must of been really busy.

Had to wait 55 mins for food, wouldn’t have minded a later pickup if I had been told in advance but to have to sit and wait is not ideal.

All the the Bhuna curries had spilt all over the bag that it was delivered in so the couldn’t eat it rest was really nice

I’ve been coming to Modhu for years now, it’s by far the best curry in Mansfield! Their food is delicious, great value for money and wonderful service. All their staff are so kind and attentive. I always have and always will recommend the Modhu to all my friends and family!

Only 1 poppadom received despite ordering 4 and only 1 pilau rice instead of 2. Phoned restaurant, they apologised and offered to adjust any future order-they couldn’t send missing items as drivers were all out and it would take too long.

Ordered at 6.30 for arrival at 7.45. Called at 8.15 and received apology and 'we will send that out now' ... so it hadn't even left . Was delivered at 8.45. One of the mains was in the wrong sauce. Naan bread not delivered. Won't order again.

Made to wait unti 8:40pm when the food was ordered to collect at 8pm. Food was then found to only be Luke warm.

What can i say. Yesterday i went there with my wife and two close friends. When we got there, we where greeted by the friendliest of waiters we ever saw. At the table, we where presented with a menu filled with goodness. We just couldnt decide what to get! But, I knew what i wanted though, and that was... Vindaloo. But! I wanted the real deal. Whenever i go to a Indian restaurant, i ask for Vindaloo. As spicy as the insides of a vulcano, but still flavoured with the wonderfull tastes of India. Its a test to see if the cook knows what he's doing. So i asked the waiter, for a hot Vindaloo. Not the general weak stuff all the others dared to give me... I wanted, to be tantelised. To be chalanged and to be really pleased, if only just for once in getting what i've bin asking for, for years and years now. And thats to get, a real, mindblowingly hot, flavourfull plate of pure skill, craft and a fiery love for good food by a Cheff who knkws what heat lovers need. The waiter didnt hesitate for a moment and ran to the kitchen. "We've got a massively hot Vindaloo lover, do your thing Cheff!" is what he must have said. When the food arived, i took my first bite....... and i felt my tongue jump for joy!!! My lips started tingeling, my forhead got wet from instant sweating, my eyes turned red and tears started to run down my face and i coukdnt speak for a few moments. Yes... i finally found it. I found a Vindaloo, to die for...!!! So i ate and ate till my tummy got full of burning excitement. But alas... i ate to quick, and so, my stomach clenched up and i was full before i could eat it all. I asked for a doggybag, so i coukd eat the rest at home... for breakfast! The waiter was surpised for this request, but he made sure i could enjoy it the very next day again with even more spice to enjoy it even more and more and more... and so i did. This morning, i opened the bag, and i discovered that the cheff topped the casing up with even more meat to enjoy. My Gods... i think i just died and went to heaven folks. Such good food, such lovely people, such a great Cheff. When we get back here in Mansfield, we know what we want. And thats the best food you can get. So dont think anymore, and get a table here. You will not regret it. 😉 Much love guys.

The food was of a decent quality and was served in a reasonable amount of time. We had a combination of starters and this was a great way to kick off weekend celebrations. It also minimised the waiting times for our main courses. The staff were professional and courteous.

Booked a table for 7, eventually got food by 8.30 after asking!! All they are interested in is takeaway orders and leave customers waiting but spending money on drinks, will not return any time soon

Amazing meal! Having visited Modu a few times, we had been recommended the pre ordered whole leg of lamb! For 5 of us to share, this was loads of meat and plenty of sides- we ordered more (just for preference) but ended up boxing up loads to bring home! Fabulous- will definitely order again!! Thank you!

Came in for first time tonight as I have been struggling to find good curry near me. Service was excellent and had food recommended to us to try. Very rare you get service as good at a restaurant and the food was absolutely amazing, will definitely be going again soon

I pre-ordered my food for 5PM (via website and got the receipt)and i reached there at 5:05 and they never realised that we have ordered. Nobody was ready to look into this until we asked a few times. Then someone came and took a while to sort it out and they asked us to order it again in till. We had to wait for another 20 minutes to get our food. In the meantime they already gave food to the people who came for collection after us. They didn’t even have the minimum courtesy to say sorry

First time visiting, and was impressed. Friendly staff and a newly renovated restaurant. Great dips with our poppadums, very nice pickle and mint sauce. Starters were onion bhaji’s which were great. Mains were chicken tikka jalfrezi, which was good and spicy, and chicken tikka curry. Lovely rice and garlic naan. Highly recommend this restaurant if you’re in Mansfield.

This has been our favourite Indian restaurant in Mansfield for the last couple of years. We’ve not been for a couple of months but tonight’s meal was as good as ever. Yes, the set menu has increased in price but it is still great value. The food is delicious, portions generous, great presentation and the staff are always friendly. There were a few new dishes on the menu which we tried and enjoyed!! This place still hits the spot and I can’t recommend this place enough!!
