Lovely freshly prepared curry, ready to collect when requested. Use this takeaway on a weekly basis & cannot fault the meal or value for money.

Thought we would give it a try after seeing an article on social media...lesson learnt, don't believe the hype!... We were greeted at the counter by Captain Charisma (not)... a charmless disinterested man who gave the impression that customer service was a daily inconvenience that should neither be tolerated or encouraged. That being said, we appreciate the fact that everyone can have an "off day" and gave the gentlemen and his establishment the benefit of doubt and placed our order. Now this may just be coincidental, but upon our arrival home we quickly discovered that the chef must have been having an off day too... the food was cold, bland and distinctly average... not the worst we've ever had, but definitely not the best either.

All the family have just had a lovely curry and lovely staff.

Ordered a chicken korma and the chicken wasn't cooked properly it was pink inside, I phoned up to make a complaint and they wasn't interested. Normally the food been nice but not this time not sure if I will order again

This is a lovely place to get a curry. Great vegan options too. We love it and order regularly. Try the chicken pakoras. Excellent stuff

I order online for delivery to my home. The process is easy,the choice very varied. You can follow your order on the website. Delivery has always been on time or earlier. The food is well presented and of a high standard. They also offer a loyalty point system which can reduce the cost when used.

After reading the write up about winning the curry award recently I went a long way to go get my anticipated takeaway from here. Overall I was disappointed, the price was high for smallish portions & the pakora street food dish was overcooked dry pakora, smaller than expected & not as.yummy as the description or the write up made it to be. The pakora were very dark fried & dry, not crispy light fried balls of veg with all the trimmings described, not worth the extra price. I could see that if it wasn't so overcooked the combination would taste nice. The lamb curry again was a small amount for 12quid with a few lumps of lamb. I spent over £33 for 1 person (20% discount included for going to pick up myself) so glad I didn't pay for a delivery 🚚🚚🚚🚚. As it's a 15 min drive & over 8 miles I won't be trying again I'm afraid...just not worth the cost.

Had 2 takeaways from here and both have been lovely. Plenty of flavour and taste in the food. Food was nice and hot and portion sizes are good. Staff are very welcoming and friendly, 2nd visit they gave us complimentary poppadoms and pickles now one of our favourite Indian takeaways will certainly going back.

Truly awful takeaway. Stone cold and very dry. Almost no flavour....it was a korma, but even so!! Would not recommend at all. Was a special treat after a difficult week.....some treat. Never had anything so disappointing.

This place is just amazing! I eat out in restaurants all over the place but have never had anything like this. The staff are very polite and welcoming, nothing is too much to ask of them. I ordered - Pakora Chaat - Never tasted anything like it before just delicious Lahori Gosht - The lamb was so tender it melted in my mouth Dhesi Karahi - Full of flavour and perfect amount of chicken Pilau Rice - No food coloring the rice had a taste of its own Cheese and Garlic bread - Really nicely cooked not over powered by garlic I asked them to do me a Muttar Aloo as it wasnt on the menu, and it was fabulous and tasted different to the other dishes. This was all packed and presented beautifully. The food and service is better than restaurants I have been to. You get 20% off when you order online and collect. They have definitely set the bar very high, Highly recommended.

I’m sorry but I have just had the worst take away ever from Delhi. The starters were dripping in oil, yet hadn’t been cooked. It tasted like a wet undercooked pancake 🤢. My curry tasted like watery gravy with hard chewy pieces of chicken in. To say I’ve just spent £50 to be left hungry, at least my dogs had a good meal. Never will I be ordering again.

Having seen a review on line from the Food Review Club, and having recently moved to the area thought we’d give it a try for our Friday night curry, it would also save me a 6 mile round trip to our usual takeaway. Ordering worked well and service when I collected was good and polite, but that’s where the positives end. The food was bland, and tasteless, with a weak watery madras sauce with no flavour at all, and to top it off the food was luke warm. So I suppose it’ll be back to my normal 6 mile round trip in the future, such a shame ☹️☹️

Definitely order your curry from here. We’ve been a regular for the past few years and it’s by far the best. Never had an issue. I always collect and the staff there are lovely. So far all the friends and family I’ve recommended this place to also enjoy their curry’s.

So impressed with this place! We ordered on a Saturday night and the food was delivered from quite far away, in just over an hour. Both the person on the phone and the delivery guy were lovely. They were super helpful with finding me something vegan on the menu. The food was fresh, good quality and so delicious! Since being let down by all our other local Indian takeaways, we’ve been trialing new ones and we are so glad we found Delhi! We’ll definitely be back again!

We had our takeaway delivered from Delhi Eastwood and everything was spot on, prompt delivery, food hot and all the dishes we had were tasty and decent size portions, would definitely recommend.

Received text alerting of xmas day opening. We thought, hey why not, that'll be different!! Pre-ordered prior to opening. First delivery slot 1505. Food arrived bang on time with a cheery smile and 'Merry Christmas' as opened door. Food was already placed on the doorstep with a complimentary xmas gift of a large bottle of Cobra!! Food was amazing. Same time next year please Delhi, really, really great job. THANK YOU

Food arrived over an hour late, nearly 3 hours after ordering. Food was cold when it arrived, rang restaurant and they offered a discount on next order but will lot be ordering again. Waste of time and money. Very disappointed

Absolutely disgusting service. Ordered 7.30pm and finally arrived at 10.05pm. We even tried cancelling the order when finally got through, to be told no, the food is there and it will be nice when we eat it!!!??? No discount on what we ordered, just an offer to discount on next order.. We WILL NOT be ordering again and so this was a completely worthless gesture that was 1.5hrs too late!!

Food is fine but service is SHOCKING. We ordered at 19:15 and JustEat said it would be with us at 20:30. At 20:45, I tried ringing three times and it just rang out every time. We went to the takeaway and there were three drivers there waiting. We picked our order up ourselves after it wasn't even one of the ones they were waiting for, got our delivery money back and advised them to answer their phone. Can't see us ordering from there again.

Food is normally great but an hour and 20 minutes later I am still waiting. Sorry - not good enough - way past your estimated time and when I ring up the order is "on its way" Last time I will EVER order from Dehli Eastwood - I dont care how good your food is, delivery times are important too. That's a loyal customer you have lost tonight.

Saturday night treat , had the special curry chicken TIKKA DHESI KARAHI , the chicken came in massive slices like you would have on a Sunday dinner , so had two sit slicing it up, not much taste to it, and was Luke warm, we also had a chicken Tikka , the taste was so bland I couldn't name it ? Overpriced food with no taste

Ordered for the first time tonight, and ordered 4 of our regular dishes that we would order elsewhere which are all " mild" in spice and listed as such on the menu. However, all of the Currys were extremely spicy! Enough to leave your tongue and mouth feeling tingly and swollen lol. It was like endurance trying to eat them and we normally don't mind a little spicy.. This left all dishes tasting the same, just hot!! And no other flavours came through after that. What a Shame 😬

Looked lovely at first however after a few spoonfuls became very hot to the extent where there was no flavour me and my famalam were left swearing and In great distress over the well being of our lips

Not sure what's changed here at Delhi but its definitely for the better! Every dish we have had over the last few months has been improved in some way! I love it here and definitely think it is the best in Eastwood!

We ordered via Justeat , specifying a delivery time as was waiting for someone to join us. The food arrived nearly 30 minutes early but luckily the missing guest had arrived and we were all hungry. Our order was 2 chicken tikka Marsala, 1 chicken Bhuna, 2 different types of bread, rice and half tandoori chicken and chips. The cost before a special 20 percent off was over £42 reducing to £34. The food arrived warm and well packaged. All of the currys had plenty of chicken, the flavours were nice not too hot but tasty, tandoori was spicier but still very enjoyable. The chips were horrible looked and felt like slugs but it’s an Indian so not a biggie. Overall the food was good but I’m still wondering about value for money as everyone ate everything so portion sizes were good but not huge.

Had family visiting and ordered quite a large amount of food. Our order arrived before that stated time and was as ordered. The food was lovely, hot (heat not chillie) and tasted beautiful. We had byriani, Rogan josh, tikka masala, saagwala and tandoori meats accompanied by nan breads and it was all delicious. I would highly recommend Delhi and will definitely be using again.

I was quiet apprehensive about a curry take away from somewhere other than our usual BUT we were delighted we did. The Delhi at Hilltop Nottingham Road Eastwood was excellent. We had garlic chilli chicken and it was as good as any we have had in the past and we used to use an award winning take away, well if the Delhi entered the same competition we are pretty sure they'd win too. Well done Delhi your food is gorgous and the service polite, courteous and welcoming. We will recomend for sure as will the rest of our team at Tree Hugger & Son Tree Services. I don't usually do reviews unless I have a really bad experience. This was the polar opposite! I usually order from Indians in Heanor which are okay but thought I would try this place as their just eat reviews are so good. Now I see why! The food arrived at the time just eat app estimated. The delivery man was very smart and I was shocked when he had the exact change ready for a £20 note which was £4.10. Most delivery men rummage until you give in and say keep the change. I feel I should have tipped him now as the food was amazing. The Lamb lahori chops were amazing defo recommend them! I ordered a fish dish malaria machi and it was perfect not too spicy but lovely flavour and tender fish. The icing ion the cake for me was the free salad with strawberries and grapes such a nice touch. The £5 off next order voucher is a bonus I'd order again anyway. One very happy customer :)

Horrible. Had 3 vegetarian meals they were all just frozen casserole mix with slightly different bland sauces. As far removed from good Indian cooking as you could get. Staggered at the good reviews for this place although at least one is written by the owners!

not eaten ere as takeaway prices are to be frank over the top youll sit down in any resturant so lower them by 40!%...offer free nan and i may just may try
