Food is always good from curry house . Sent me the wrong drink in my order but it is what it is

Got given an out of date drink. And for compensation. We got 2 popadoms.😒

The rice was not nice, we have always had nice take aways from here but tonight the rice was not nice and ruined the dinner. Let’s hope it was a one off.

Great food but with what I spent plus paying for delivery and no choice but to pay a service charge I was expecting them to chuck in a couple of poppadoms thrown in for free like in axminster but no so slightly disappointed.

Arrived very early. Missed an item off that was ordered, did phone up and had the item dropped off in 5 minutes tho.

Lovely food. Although the temperature of the food was not very hot.

Usually order the same thing, fancied a change. Disappointed, ordered something medium spicy but it was bland and tasteless. I will go back to the usual, chicken tikka balti, always excellent

Food was hot, but bland, chaptis really rubbery, ceylon was almost like pasatta suace. No spice, no depth of flavour, dissapointing

We put in a order at 10:10pm and received a text at 10.35 saying that they couldn't accept our order. Which left us no time to order from anywhere else and now we have to wait 3-5 day for our money back

This restaurant is both a busy takeaway serving mainly Chard and the surrounding villages. There are about 10 spaces to dine in- House. Sunday and Thursday they have a special banquet night ( good value). I enjoyed Tarkha Dhal ( excellent flavour and quality(, a nice garlic Naan bread). My main dish of chicken Korai was fresh chicken not frozen with a rich spicy flavour served with Pillau rice. Great service very friendly gents. Cash only.

The delivery was slightly late but I had received a text message telling me it would be with an apology. The driver also apologised . The food was excellent

Food arrived approx 90 mins after placing order, which was 45 mins later than the website update. When I called to find out what was happening, they didn’t seem at all bothered and didn’t trouble themselves to explain or apologise. Food was ok, not great. The chips seemed to be frozen supermarket french fries, which was disappointing considering how expensive the meal was. Won’t be repeating the experience any time soon.

Got food it was slightly cold. But they forgot my korma so I could only have rice with nothing tried calling the restaurant several times with no answer and now have to wait 7 days to see if I get a refund for the missing items.

Really disappointing meal, for starters one of the naan breads was not what we ordered, I called to ask for a replacement and was essentially gaslit by them telling me I was wrong and that it was definitely the naan bread I ordered despite me telling them clearly multiple times it wasn't (it absolutely wasn't what I ordered). So not a great start, the naan breads themselves were cold in the centre and very doighy. In fact most of our meal was cold or lukewarm at best which considering I picked it up from the restaurant and we were their only order at the time is pretty shocking. The Curry itself had actually separated which was pretty unpleasant, the flavours were not awful but certainly not worth the money. We also ordered a biriyani, the meat in it was well cooked and the flavours of the rice were okay but the curry that came with it was as bland as Bath water. For some reason we ordered chips, we shouldn't have, they were essentially oil torpedoes disguised as chips, they also got soaked by all the water that separated from the curry which possibly improved them? Hard to tell. My partner kept trying to make me feel better about wasting my money on this by saying "well it was edible" so I suppose Curry House have got that going for them, they make edible food. All that said, the mint dip was top tier so good job. The dip paired with the leftover Pataks poppadoms we had in the cupboard was honestly the highlight of my edible meal.

I normally collect however tonight I ordered in for a change and it was top notch. The lamb rogan josh was tender and flavoursome and the naan bread cooked to perfection with a wonderful buttery flavour to it. I don't often go for rice however the kids enjoy it so we also had a prawn biriani which they loved..... normally anything other than plain rice or dominoes is a struggle to get them to try but they tasted everything and even had seconds. The only minor criticism would be the chicken pakora were a bit soggy however having to be in a takeaway container for the duration of the delivery is probably the only reason for that. Tasted great all the same. Coming from London with competition being fierce I can honestly say this is in my top 5 Indian take aways of all time. Friendly staff too.

We’ve ordered a couple of times and never got disappointed, usually we always order the same the chicken korma is very tasty as well as the sides and and the bread. The service is quite good however the portions are small compared with the price.

Curry tasted ok, but nothing to write home about. They missed a curry from my delivery but on calling they delivered a replacment in around 15 min. Ordered from Curry House, as Spice Villa is closed on Tuesday. Next time, I will wait until Wednesday for Spice Villa to be open again.

Being Indian , I have to say the food was lovely and not too oily and greasy as some restaurants/ takeaways can be . We had Prawn Bryani , tarka dhal , aloo Gobi , chicken Nagga curry ( very nice indeed) garlic naan & 2 chappatis .lovely food 🥘 thank you

Forgot something from our oder. Rung up and was told it would be 15-20 for them to come back with. Obviously already eaten by then or it would all go cold. Ordered 2 cheese nanans and there is a tiny sprinkling of cheese .terrible . No taste to the bhuna. All in all really unhappy. And we order from here regularly

I have ordered from here many times, I ordered the same meal as last time but was very disappointed. The food was cold and tasteless, the chapatis were thick and doughy. There was no salad or raita which usually come with this order. I will try somewhere else from in future.

Ordered a king prawn curry, the prawns were the size of peas. Requested a refund.

I have never been dissatisfied before But I was very disappointed with my King Prawn Byriani last night The curry container was half full And the king Prawns were just bits of King Prawn there was only one prawn that was sort of split I’d splashed out as a treat as usually go for vegetable Byriani My Husband was very happy with his meal I will add I know times are difficult and I don’t like complaining but feel on this occasion it was necessary to point out As I’m usually quite happy with the food when we order

Normally good but like water today and little taste. Sauce needed flavour and be less watery literally see through.

Delivery was perfect. However, the food was very average. Currys did not taste fresh and were a bit lumpy and watery, like they had been frozen. It wasn't horrible, very much edible, but like I said, very average.

I got my chicken phall well that was what I was expecting but it wasn't even close and had to wait 1 hour and 25 minutes and not happy about it at all!!!

I thought the service was great and delivered very fast - well maybe to fast. The mixed starter was a joke with 3 tiny pieces of meat with a damp no flavorful onion bahiji. The main meal was a lamb Balti, this was sub standard although the meat was tender - not what I would call a Balti at all - just meat onions and sauce no veg in it, looked to me like it was rushed . The rice was cold but the poppadoms were fresh. Had food from this place before and was good. If i were to score this out of 10 I'd give it a 5 and will not be trying my luck again

Just eat delivery: paid £32 for a Garlic Chicken and a Chicken Rogan Josh but the chicken on both of them was really awful. I've never had chicken like that before. It was chewy, tough and very fibrous and totally unpallatable. No idea where they sourced it. Two bites and yuk....it all went in the bin. Just wasted £32 on food that might just be passable as animal feed. Not just saying this, It really was that awful. I wish I could get my money back. I would question whether the produce was substandard and fit for human consumption. I would have my doubts. I suggest you steer clear of this establishment

Samosas turned up still frozen in parts (they were replaced) the pakoras were inedible and looked like they had been pre cooked then microwaved. Some of the chicken in the curries had a questionable texture too - My husband could not eat his food due to this and threw up what little he did eat. I soldiered on and managed the rice and sauce. After trying this place a couple of times now both were unpleasant unfortunately and we will not return.

Ordered a takeaway had chicken and chips. The chips were dripping with grease and the chicken was slightly warm on the outside and freezing cold in the middle!

Just ordered - delivery was super fast! Can't fault that at all. Real shame the food is awful. Probably the worst 2 curries I've tasted. Tesco ready meal curries taste nicer - genuinely. Can taste the tomato ketchup they've used in the tikka masala. Maybe they just got these two dishes wrong so perhaps order something else if you really want to order from here. Advice - just make your own butter chicken and chicken tikka masala, will taste better. Feel robbed of my 30 odd pounds. Garlic naan is alright but nothing special. Very disappointing overall - going to soldier through now as I'm hungry but this is a wildly disappointing Saturday night lol Edit - delivery driver was friendly as a bonus Edit after finishing - my mouth tastes like I've had to do a drinking game forfeit of a shot of apple cider vinegar. Do with that what you will

Can't choose anything from the traditional list without it add "includes lamb" and doubling the price. Chicken vindaloo (includes lamb) £18!!!!

Flavoursome, good portion size and still hot when delivered. Will order again.
