An absolute amazing dining experience. The interior, atmosphere and customer service was excellent. Finally have a excellent restaurant on our doorstep. Parking is also no issue as there is 2 hr free parking just remember to register your car on the screen inside. Now to the main part. We ordered lamb seekh kebabs, chicken tikka, lamb chops, fish tikka and fries for starters. The mains we had lamb karhai with naan and the in house special biryani . There wasn't a long wait for food. The food came piping hot. Even after a while the biryani was still warm. The food was absolutely delicious. Definitely 10/10 from me. 100% recommend to anyone who hasn't tried. The staff were very accommodating and helped us with any requirements etc. Will be visiting again soon. A few good visits and the food is still top notch. Absolutely fresh delicious tasting food. Fantastic customer service from the manager Danish. Do definitely try there famous tawa.

All that gilters isn't gold. This restaurant looks beautiful, however soon as I sat down I realised it looked comfortable but it was very uncomfortable. So uncomfortable I needed to book a appointment with my regular massage therapist. I ordered a chicken spinach desi style balti and when it arrived it looked like a green thai curry. There was so much spinach I feared I would leave the restaurant looking like Popeye. There was about 4 small pieces of boiled chicken which you had to search for under all the spinach. It was tasteless like it wasn't at all seasoned. I don't know if all curry restaurants in Wasall save time by not marinating their chicken because the chicken always tasted like it's just boiled and thrown in the curry. The desi tea tasted like a English cup of tea just the milk is boiled in the saucepan. Worst of all the price couldn't believe how expensive it was £13.99 for a small bowl of mostly spinach with only 4 pieces of boiled chicken in there. Left feeling very unsatisfied. Bad food is like bad sex!

Ordered biryani which was ok, haleem was runny like water worse then homemade daal, plain naan £4 also ordered kheer omg never trying again very tiny portion £6 and the taste like boiled rice mixed with milk and sugar. Do they even know what Pakistani food is about?? I don’t think so! Expensive and no flavour to the food, never going there again.

Very nice food and especially the lad name Saqlein. He’s very humble and very kind person. Every time when i go to this restaurant he shows me his love and respect.

Have dined in there many times and the food was just ok However ordering online and takeaway both for breakfast was the nightmare. The various shapes puris so small that I was shocked as they were totally different from what we had when dined in. Furthermore, for today’s takeaway the chickpeas were so hard to chew and omelette had the shell hits in . Not good value for money, very expensive when compared to the quality and quantity

If ever there was a place in Walsall that offered ambience , a top notch service and arguably the best karahi this is the one .. i usually am a very fussy person when it comes to food and ambience .. but this place pleasantly surprised me .. found it through Google while browsing through Punjabi restaurants in the area . Danish the manager was absolutely amazing and so was Anchal the lady who served us .. we had chicken karahi on the bone which was made to perfection . The chicken was fresh and I could taste the fresh tomato gravy .. not only this they used fresh coriander seeds to grind and then use it in the gravy which unlike most other places isn’t a shortcut where they use shop bought readymade masalas.. had a good time with my wife and 2 year old daughter . Will be back for sure .. a rare gem 💎. Keep up the standards pls .

We had their Tawa today which was great, food was fresh and tasty , service was amazing too. We enjoyed everything. They have a free parking, unfortunately we didn’t know that. 😅 We were offered a dessert or tea at the end(don’t know whether it was complimentary or not)😂 But it was a good experience though, we will definitely go their again, Highly recommended.

Came for an evening meal and place was pretty much empty. So not really.much room for error in terms of service as there was probably.4 people in the whole restaurant. Attentiveness was there and manager was also involved in service . Food was out piping hot and didn't have to wait too long either. Tick, tick. Actual taste of the food was okay.nothing amazing but the lamb curry was exceptional. Portions are actually okay given the price and presents great value for money. Went with the sindhi biriyani on managers reccomendation but I didn't think it was great. Didn't have the flavours you would expect and was not that fragrant and rice was not soft and fluffy. Chicken pakoras were not bad. Garlic naan was okay. Place had a nice decor and ther is plenty of parking. Would definitely come againamd try a few more dishes to see what else is good. Thankyou. I went to royal punjab today and it was immaculate. I loved it the food was crazy good and don’t get me started on the atmosphere. It’s a beauty and feels like heaven. Gold walls and amazing lighting. The staff were very helpful and kind and were at service every time we needed them. I would definitely recommend for everyone and I will be coming here often. I had the tava and everything was 😋👌👌

Really nice place. Service was good and staff were pleasant. The food is really good. Parking is a little difficult as it's so busy. Other than that me and my partner had a great time.

We came as a group of people to have breakfast. Everyone had a mixture of either desi breakfast or chole batture. I had the aloo paratha and bhujia. Whilst the aloo paratha is very authentic as was the aloo bhujia, the service really lacked. The women ordered first, but the man serving decided to serve the men's order first! Then they kept forgetting orders , and they didn't write down anything. I was the only one who ordered green tea, but they forgot until I reminded them as I was leaving. 2 people ordered mango lassi, but they only brought out 1! Had they just got their act together , talked to each other, and listened to the guests, it would have been smooth.

Loved it there , booked for birthday meal staff were really nice. Food was good too.

Cuisine penjabi de qualité, mais on trouve beaucoup de restaurants penjabis de qualité. La salle est moderne, manque un peu d'âme. Vous avez le choix entre doux, épicé et très épicé pour chaque plat. A vous de voir. Médium est déjà chaud pour un palais français. On y retrouve les plats classiques : tikka, tandoori, nann... Il faut avoir à l'esprit que les portions sont copieuses. Un plat commandé peut aisément satisfaire deux personnes. Il y a également un menu enfant.

The fine systems heading towards the restaurant from the Crown Warf round about are no longer in place , park in the free car park. Remember parking is only free for 2 hours if you tap your car reg on the screen inside the restaurant. My bindi meal was cooked to a very high standard indeed. Good value for money. Nice atmosphere. You won't need your glasses, the menu is in bold format.

Have been to this restaurant many times previously and was happy but, this time round the food was disappointing- very bland! Prices have gone up and food standards have dropped. Wont be returning.

New ‘updated’ review : was going to order some food the other day and noticed that they intentionally doubled the price of the biryani and advertised it as BUY 1 get 1 Free. Not sure if would order again from here now. Old review: Ordered on Uber eats and I honestly destroyed those house made “Royal Biryanis” one was with chicken and other one was with lamb. I called and requested for them to make it proper Indian style spicy( not sure if they added extra spices as asked) and/but it was very very good. Haven’t had such a nice food for years. Thank you. Can’t put up photos as all has been eaten quickly 🤣🤯☺️. Thanks a lot guys. Will definitely order here again Edit/P.S I want to comment that the amount of chicken/meat : rice ratio is not great

It is easy to find. The staff provided a pleasant reception. There are numerous seating options for individuals, couples, and large groups. The lassi was delicious, even though there was no alcohol present. Lamb Biryani was of excellent quality, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were many locals eating here, so you knew it was fine:-). Great value as well; the receipt is included in my photo. If you are in the area, make sure to stop by.

The food was amazing & very adequately priced,keeping in mind there was 14 of us!The manager,workers & whole atmosphere was the best me & my mates have had in such a long time.Food was elegantly bought out to us & placed in a very high importance way.The manager was very helpful and even paid for my parking as I could not get onto the app.My whole team agreed it was the best food, restaurant, atmosphere and night out we've all had in weeks.Advise anybody to go there,you won't be disappointed and we will be back there again!👍

Just went to buy "Rotian", very nice atmosphere,nice clean tables n chairs, well decorated inside, don't forget to enter your 🚗 reg on counter screen to avoid parking ticket.

Not a very royal experience unfortunately food arrived cold 25 mins late, i was given a time of 8.20pm-8.40pm arrived a 9.05pm. Wouldn't mind if the food arrived hot and was flavoursome and delicious but it wasn't, the lamb karahi and butter chicken were quite bland no depth of flavour as you'd expect from a curry especially an expensive one. Over priced for the flavour and portion size. Lamb Seekh kebabs are average. The naan and brown rice was OK, the lacha paratha was nice but unfortunately the curries just weren't up to standard the chicken was a bit hard in butter chicken might have been because was a bit cold. They did send complimentary salad and yogurt and sauces. Wouldn't order again unfortunately...very dissapointed.

Order Small Tawa, enough portion for 3 people. Lamb off bone karahi was good. But their top of the item that no one should miss is Shahi Falooda, 7⭐️ for Falooda and 5⭐️ for rest of the food and ambience of resturant.

Had a party of 30 here, the food was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful. Cannot thank Danish, the manager, for helping arrange a space that worked for us and worked with us to enable an amazing event.

Being used to the likes of Tipu Sultan in Bham as our go to, I was very pleasantly surprised with this place. Food was delicious, ambience very relaxing and service very attentive. Finally somewhere that does decent Pakistani food for Wolverhampton/Walsall residents without having to traipse all the way to Bham! Will definitely visit again and add it to our regular rotation. Best desi food place around Birmingham. Lamb Karahi on the bone, Barbecue Mix Plater( specially malai boti ,lamb chops, seekh kebabs,Nihari, Halwa puri ,Qeema naan and Lassi are at their Best. Give it a try you will love it.

We ordered the large Tawa and sorry to say but it was well below par. You don't receive all the items on the Tawa, and when questioning the staff they gave some feable excuse. Even the drinks weren't nice at all, the mocktails made from Juice cartons, and fizzy syrup, extremely sweet. Mango lassi tasted of sour mango pulp. Everything looks aesthetically nice, though overall your left feeling very disappointed and short changed. The only positives is the nice decor and free parking.

An excellent place for family dinning. I would rate them the highest amongst all the restaurants in West Midlands. I have dinned in most of the restaurants in Birmingham and we Midlands but this is the best. The cuisine has authentic taste and always well made. The manager of restaurant is very courteous and pays personal attention to each guest. The restaurant is not well advertised and marked in the region but definitely is one of the best for both food and entertainment

Took too long waited over an hour and half for the food to arrive

Ordered some curries with naan and rice - everything was flavoursome and delicious. Free on site parking which is ideal and stress free. A bit of a drive out for us but what was worth it, hoping to come again and try some of the other dishes.

Nice ambience for a family meal out. Parking is free for 2 hours, upon arrival you have to type your registration number into a tablet in order to not get a ticket. Parking is limited as is a shared carpark. We had the Large Tawa which is enough for 5-6 people, the food was on point, went two times to have a family meal here, both times excellent customer service and the food arrived on time. We were also given complimentary poppadoms first time around, the food prices are as expected. The staff are really friendly, especially the Manager who goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable and enjoy your meal and thanks you for coming at your departure. There is a private space at the back of the restaurant where you can pray and toilet facilities are available, as well as a baby changing area. Overall, good food, good staff, good company, what more could you ask for :-)

The atmosphere and decor is awesome. Donia the waitress was very hospitable, polite and considerate. An asset to the restaurant. Food was tasty . We ordered lamb buriyani, Nehari, chicken karahi, keema naan . The keema naan was the only thing that was tasteless , could have had more keema and masala. Just to add to the review, we came all the way from London. Before leaving I was offered another keema naan . This time is was much better in the taste and quantity of meat. Thank you . Lovely food...First time trying and was worth it.

We ordered two large tawa's, chicken kebabs were nice, chicken tikka was OK, meat kebab and lamb chops were okay. Chicken handi and biryani had nice flavour, quantity was lot less for £70 tawa... more items mentioned on the menu, but you receive less food... a strange reason was given for less food. Definitely not value for money. Mango lasi wasn't great. Free 2 hours of parking, register your registration number at reception for that. Quite big car park. Staff was helpful and resturant has a nice ambience.

New to Walsall. This was becoming my regular treat. Food tasted nice. What a shame I had to remove them from my list. Message to server: Even though the poppadoms are low down, we can still see you. It's absolutely not ok to handle them with your bare hands. Message to owner: Food hygiene is more important than speed. My hunt for a clean place continues.

First time attended for breakfast, Amazing food and service was great, lovely plain parates not greasy at all ordered haleem was soo tasty just right on chillies and had gulaab jamun with ice cream was great too nice piping hot food Great Customer Service had biryani for take out best biryani I had in ages. I liked this restaurant. I loved the decor and the beautiful lights. It was calm and peaceful and the staff were lovely. If there were negatives, it would be 1 thing: the time it took for the food to be served. I'm sorry to say, but there was a long wait between when we ordered and when we got served. Many people came in after us, ordered, and got served, ate, and left, all before we even finished our starter. Another thing is the hand dryer in the toilets. It was as though someone were BLOWING on my hands. It was upsettingly, weak. One thing I did like was the fact that there was a special praying area. It was a really big positive, and plus, to me, was that prayer area. The food tasted so good and I loved it! I guess, after tasting the food, it was worth the wait. I would, without hesitation, come again. I just hope, in the future, they can be quicker in serving the food.

This place has it all. Great food and the perfect ambience. We really enjoyed the food. To top it off free parking. Only slight thing we didn't like was cans presented for our drinks rather than poured in glass and brought out.

My first visit, and overall it could of been better. Positives: friendly staff, nice relaxing atmosphere, nice ambience and easy parking. In terms of the food, the sindhi chicken biyani was fresh however for the chicken jalfrezi they added some bolied eggs that put my wife off as shes doesn't like eggs on the curry. That should of been stated in the description. Somosa chart was nice, but the roti was a bit dry. The chicken nuggets were rock hard. The strawberry shake was nice. The waiters were nice and always available, however they kept desturbing us every 5 mins on how the food was (i mean let us finish eating atleast), and they try to cross sell me pappadons and chai all night, i am aware or these items in the menu, they dont need to constantly remind me.

The food is really good and cooked fresh. Marked one star down for the time as we waited a while for the food, when it came not everything was hot. The service was amazing.. Recently ordered a takeaway from here. The Papri chaat and the Aloo Paratha were just right for me. I look forward to trying out the rest of the menu.

I asked for no chilli/spice and no onion. All of the food had onion and chilli, it was so spicy I couldnt eat my food, the mix grill was dry. I would not recommend this place

Myself and my partner visited this restaurant twice when it first opened and were really impressed with the service and care, what a difference a few months makes… we visited last night for a meal and were thoroughly rushed the whole way through. The food was good and we can’t fault this, however we were shoved the bill and the card machine as soon as we said we didn’t want to order anything else. Whilst we still had drinks to finish, we were told to leave the table as ‘people were waiting’, less than 5 minutes after we had paid the bill. From parking up to returning to our car we were in there 55 minutes, rushed from the minute we arrived. We felt an absolute inconvenience to the place the whole way through and won’t be returning.

Visited here today, we’re not from the midlands, found on Google and was a pleasant meal. We went for the small tawa and just about finished it between the 3 of use. Food was fresh and tasted great.

Went for breakfast Saturday morning, what's not to love! Brilliant service and ambience for Walsall is 5/5. Top service.

One of the best places to dine in, staff very friendly and knowledgeable and have best customer service skills. Manager Danish is highly respected as knows how to communicate with customers, while I was there I saw Danish personally going to every table and asking customers how their food was, he wasn’t standing in a corner instead helping all waiters getting the orders out on table. I really appreciated his effort. I will definitely go again. A++++++++++++++

Madhu was an exception host! Very attentive and polite. We were a large group ordering 5 Tawas, which were all cooked to perfection. 5 stars all round, great atmosphere, clean environment and great food.

First time visiting the restaurant and found the venue very clean, our waitress Donia to be so very polite, responsive and quick to our requests. She further helped by making excellent menu suggestions from the menu which were all delicious and well presented.

Beautiful venue and excellent food. Highly recommended if you ate looking for authentic Indian and Pakistani cuisine. Brilliant service.

Reasonable price and good service

The service is great, staff are looking at tables to attend if needed, and there is plenty of parking. The breakfast is decent I throughly enjoyed it. However the tawa was unimaginably bad. The kebabs had a bad taste, the wings were too tough, the rice tasted microwaved, the lamb chops were too tough and the curry's were tasteless. I would go back for the breakfast but the tawa was so bad.

A nice addition to a declining town. The service and decor is great, food was good but could do with a more authentic taste. Would definitely visit again. P.s. please change the hand dryers in the bathroom…I could probably run a marathon in the time it takes to dry my hands 😂

I normally omit reviews rather than write a negative one but on this rare occasion I felt this establishment has to take this criticism onboard & consider some drastic changes mainly in the kitchen/chefs department in order to survive. The one star I gave was me being generous. A group of us have been dining out for many years. We look for taste above any thing else followed by good service & atmosphere. Unfortunately all the food we tasted was well below the standards we'd expect from restaurants these days. It was like average wedding food from last millennium, some of which was under cooked and on the coldish side. On the up side the service was pleasant.
