Always great food and great service

Visited this family run restaurant on 25th January 2025 the staff were very friendly polite and helpful the food was amazing and not overpriced and the restaurant was clean and vibrant which had a lovely atmosphere would definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

Been in here many times, they are so welcoming and the food is lovely every time 10/10 🤍

We took a large group of 25 people to Cinnamon Court and we were not disappointed! The service was above and beyond! The quality of food blew me away because with that quantity I my expectation was low… however the food was super tasty, high quality and their was plenty to go around! We had a wonderful evening and I’d highly recommend cinnamon court!

Attend with my partner quite regularly, very nice atmosphere with very welcoming staff. The food also never fails to deliver, always hot and fresh would recommend the south Indian chilli chicken garlic!

Our friends who have been frequent visitors to this Restaurant for over 20 yrs, treated us for our 44th anniversary celebration. We were welcomed, seated and served, the food is delicious, service excellent, great ambiance. I would certainly recommend and visit again.

Nice place,service is good, but to me I find the curries bland did ask to be made spicy but still bland and the nans were too thick, that’s my personal preference.

Had a lovely meal with family. Food was amazing and so was the service . Tam served us and he was really friendly and went out of his way to make our experience enjoyable. Always guaranteed a lovely evening at the Cinnamon Court .

Attended here for a family birthday meal. Exceptional food quality and an unusual menu. Traditional "English" curries available tikka masala etc but the chefs specials were very authentic and well flavoured. Most dishes had a subtle spice but not too overpowering. The prices were very reasonable each starter around £5 mains £8-£10 and rice and naans no more than £4. The atmosphere and vibe of the place is contemporary, well decorated and great service. Really nice little hidden gem and will 100% be revisiting in the near future

Midweek dining at its finest. We visited on a wet and windy day whilst celebrating our anniversary. We visited without a reservation quite early in the evening. As soon as we entered we were greeted by a very polite and welcoming manager who appeared very proud to be the owner. After a short exchange of pleasantries we were shown to our seats. The atmosphere was exceptional, we managed to arrive before any other visitors and I must say the presentation of the place was exceptional. Lovely music, well presented tables and stylish fittings. We ordered starters, mains and sides. All of the food was superbly cooked, meats just melted, veggies we soft but held structure. All in all the food was a real delight. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone who is celebrating an event or after a more intimate setting to enjoy a meal with friends and family. I will certainly be visiting again.

My family and I have been loyal customers of this establishment since it first opened its doors many years ago. Once inside, the experience is a treat. The food is delicious, with naan breads that are fluffy and crispy. Dishes are served piping hot using fresh ingredients, ensuring a satisfying dining experience. What truly sets Cinnamon Court apart is its impeccable service. The staff are true gentlemen, providing attentive and friendly service that enhances the overall dining experience as is the Owner. A great spot to enjoy delicious food via takeout or to dine at the restaurant in a welcoming atmosphere. Cinnamon Court had undergone a nice revamp over a year or so ago, updating & elevating its ambiance and charm. However, I would like to offer a minor criticism regarding the carpark, which could use some improvement.

Ordered on line and took 2 hours to come. Every time i rang they said it had left. When it turned up the food was cold. Never again.

Unfortunately the biriyani was dry and tasteless with very little meat in it. Very disappointed this time. Please raise the standard.

Beautiful food. But beware always check yoir bill, for what we had it was nowhere what we got charged, it was way over the top. Didn't realise until we got home :(.

Ordered food on just eat at 5:10pm and i rang at 6:15pm to ask where my food was as it stated 20 mins delivery as its only 1 mile away. They told me it was 2 mins away.. i then rang again 25 mins later to be told it will be there soon. At 7:14pm the food arrived cold and 4 pieces of chicken in the tikka masala and 4 in the Korma the rest was sauce. We ordered from here 3 times last year and it was very good. Maybe they have new owners. Either way i will not be using them again.

Ordered on just eat and said 20 mins delivery but took 2 hours and 2 phone calls. The food was cold when it arrived.

This place is amazing, it's ashame people keeping dumping fridges etc near there premises. Please don't let the run down buildings make you give this a miss, as the food, people and atmosphere is amazing and the only place I go now, when wanting Indian cuisine

Delicious food with a chilled, relaxed atmosphere. The restaurant is lovely inside and the Indian music adds to the atmosphere. Staff are friendly and attentive. A gem of a place just a short drive from junction 10 of the M6.

I eat all over the country and I can honestly say that it’s food is the best I’ve had. And I’m a foodie. Service was 1st class staff members friendly. Going back Friday

Nice food, portion size great!

Absolute scam booked a birthday party at the venue and requested a tab for soft drinks for £200. Was told mid event Bill was now on £565 because they had been too busy and didn't keep track of the tab. I was then asked to settle the bill immediately and if l couldn't suggested to borrow from my guests who had been watching as a calculator had been brought out and multiple little receipts calculated mid event. I had already paid £500 as a deposit for food /drink and gave the owner £400 l had brought in preparation for payment. I told him l live 3 minutes drive away and could come back Monday to which the owner Tony pointed out l still had a £100 in my wallet which he took. My wife who's birthday it was ended up joining the conversation and it wasn't until she offered to tell the guests that the restaurant had let them go over the tab they had been given on drinks so they were going to have to pay that he agreed to discuss on the Monday. Went to see Tony on Monday to express my disappointment in their service and there was a gentleman sitting in the corner l highly suspect to be a lawyer though never introduced. Tony resumed to lay blame on me and my guests requesting payment as l attempted to explain my disappointment and that though I had come with the hope of having the extra £100 taken out of my wallet refunded, l would be happy to walk away with a drink and a handshake. The conclusion was that Tony is going to take my wife to court for further payment who had no contractual agreement with him but just happened to have a husband who wanted to make her happy.

Me and my family celebrated my 80th birthday on Saturday, there was 20 of us the staff we're amazing made me feel very special, they were all friendly polite and attentative throughout the evening, everyone enjoyed their meal which was served hot and delicious. From the bar staff to the waiters I thank you most sincerely for making birthday a memorable one. If you've got an occasion coming up I strongly recommend that you give the cinnamon court a try you won't be disappointed ❤️

10/10!! Absolutely loved it! Went there on a whim thinking of trying out the food here! Very polite staff who took my order exactly how I wanted, I love my Biryani dishes but I like to have Daal in place of curry sauce. Both dishes were cooked to perfection 👌🏽 and I'll be returning soon to sample other dishes.

Best Curry I've had for a long time

We don't usually write reviews but today I feel strongly enough that I need to. We went for Christmas Dinner- the set menu. Before the actual incident that I'm about the write about happened, there were things we could have complained about but didnt: 1) our waiter recommended the salmon but when it came, it was over cooked/dry as if it had been sitting for a long time, 2) for 2 years they advertise a range of desserts but when you get there, they tell you they haven't got half the advertised desserts, Today what happened was terrible - and on Christmas day! They served up the main meal then after a while, they came back to ask if everything was OK. If I had known that they didn't really mean it, I would have given the standard 'yes thank you.' Instead, I said 'it's a bit cold.' Bad move!!!! They questioned me as if I had just said the worse thing possible. I said that they could take a spoon and try for themselves but they said they would change it/warm it up (don't know which after all the confusion). Another gentleman came over (a chubby round man with a beard) and he was deeply offended. He told me that they had served it to 'hundreds before me and no one had said it was cold.' He went on to say that he 'was struggling to see how I can say it's cold.' Again, I suggested that he try what I had sent back to the kitchen but he didn't want to do that. He preferred to argue. I suddenly remembered that he was the same guy who argued with me last year after I was charged for a cup of tea that was stated on the menu as free - he argued that I had the tea to begin and not at the end! Today, I had had enough of his poor service. All he had to do was taste the food and he would had seen how cold everything was! There was no need to confront the customer! He walked off not believing us! We decided we were going too! And we left half way through the meal. Another really helpful member of staff tried to smooth things over saying it's fine 'they would change the food' but at this point, we had decided that we were not taking the rudeness of the 'part owner ' who previously spoke to us. He was unapologetic and didn't care that we were going. We'll as they say, upset 1 customer and they tell 10!

We have been coming here for 20+ years. The food and service is always brilliant. The dishes are amazing. Don’t let the exterior put you off because inside it’s totally different, can’t recommend Cinnamon Court enough!

Discovered Cinnamon Court nearly 20 years ago, 100 miles from home, Would randomly go down for a curry every so often, years down the line it's not so simple with kids, but when in the area we still visit as a family, and it's still always as good

Lived in the area for years but never tried it here, came tonight with my family on a recommendation from a friend and didn't regret it! Excellent service, tasty food, very clean and smart inside and reasonable prices as well. Thank you Cinnamon Court

chutney tray was unique, like no other indian. THe starters came as deep fried coliflower and it was cold inside, aubergine was undercooked. We complained and they gave us a starter well made, but not sauce with the coliflower tempura, small portions. Its good if you just want to stop and eat in a restaurant and continue driving but it is not good for a nice meal out. Meal was just ok, nothing special.

Food was bang on and service was first class, staff are very friendly, would definitely recommend and in my opinion best Indian in Walsall.

First time visiting this curry house with it being abit out the way and found it very welcoming but overall I'd say average, curry's were OK . only two choices of rice to pick from for some reason, naan breads were lovely. There Indian lager is well worth trying though and there prices were very reasonable.

The review is really a 3.5stars (but putting a 3 star would have been harsh). We came here for our anniversary meal for the first time. The Pros: 1) very nice atmosphere and decor something you would expect in Birmingham but in a closer location for that higher end feel. 2) Very good table service, the waiter was very polite and friendly. 3) The food is very nice and tasty. The Cons: 1) Dine App: me and my wife are member of the 'dine' club , which on the app states cinnamon court are a part of. But they stated they are not. So that needs to be sorted to avoid disappointment. 2) Menu mix up: online they show a menu with with multiple dishes and choice. When we arrived and given the menus it was a reduced a la carte menu, which had different items on. Since it was our first time we thought they had changed the menu, but only when we showed the online menu was we told you can in fact order everything online, it just not on the printed out menu. This could have caused an issue as you may decide to leave before finding this out. Then you have to ask for the prices upfront as the online menu is takeaway prices and was told it is more in the restaurant. 3) Starters: Meat samosa , for the price you pay of £4.50 to only get 2 of those small style samosa's seemed unfair. 4 would of been ideal, 5 would have been top service. But they were very tasty but not enough for a starter for anyone. 4) The restaurant was alittle cold, but it was a snow day, the radiators were on, but you still felt a chill, which detracts from the decor. Overall if you go in knowing this, it is a very nice restaurant and the food is very nice and worth a visit .
