Like entering a local pub at first! Then the building becomes at open plan room with open kitchens The food was outstanding-I had the lamb naga-extremely hot but full fresh flavours of garlic, ginger, curry spices and fruity naga chilli. Had onion bhaji to start and a plain naan-both excellent! Other friends had Jalfresi and chicken tikka masala-which they thought were fantastic! Highly recommended!!

Came here with a group of friends, I don't know what I expected but in my opinion it was little rough and a bit tired looking, that aside the food was absolutely gorgeous, I would definitely eat from here again but maybe next time I'll order takeaway as didn't feel comfortable eating in.

Went here with family and friends to watch the World Cup England game and have some food, food is absolute fantastic I would recommend to anyone it’s one that people must try, yet as a pub to watch football I probably would not again there was no good atmosphere when our boys was doing us proud, there was a fight in the car park which was not on as kids was about, but food I can not rate any higher

We have visited a couple of times and have been impressed The staff are friendly and service is good There is a good selection of drinks on offer and prices are reasonable The menu has a good choice of dishes both curries and grills I had a chicken madras and enjoyed it but was a little disappointed at the small amount of chicken it contained The rest of our group were well satisfied with their meals It was very busy when we arrived but after speaking with a member of staff they came and found us when a table became available A little disappointment was after our meal we sat with our drinks at the table and a waitress very politely asked us if we minded taking our drinks into the bar We understood that the table was needed and did so but we're disappointed when we got into the bar that there was nowhere to sit and we had to stand That aside we enjoyed our meals and will be returning

If you are expecting polite staff and crisp white tablecloths you are going to be disappointed. This unusual place has the vibe of a street/ hawker centre. It is basic, loud, very very busy, and you can often struggle to park. But the food is generous , excellent value and very tasty. I have seen remarks about cleanliness on here, but to be fair I have never been ill after eating there, and I think it is so busy they have to be on top of everything in the kitchen. I have not found the staff rude, just busy. Highly recommended.

Good honest food, really surprised by excellent quality and amount..very good value for money. Downside, can get full very quickly, parking can be difficult. Does have parking but gets busy from the minute it opens. Bit rough n ready in a good way, can be loud/ rowdy. A very different sort of place, the type of place you would love or loath.. no in between, personally I loved it.

Having eaten here a few times now I feel I am in a position to comment on the rude staff and off hand nature with which you are treated Wether it be by the staff who actually serve the carvery or the waiting staff that seat you. I have found the carving staff to work rude obnoxious and ignorant each time I have eaten here Wether it is because they are hot or not they should not treat a paying customer in such a manner. And as for the waiting table staff asking what you would like to drink as they seat you and then only fulfilling half of the order and having to be asked a further 3 times for a cup of tea !! And finally as we had a voucher incidentally emailed by Toby carvery we were treated with disdain and tutted at the 3 times we have visited and been to the till to pay. And when we complained about not getting said cup of tea we were asked if we had had to the tea to the which we said yes eventually and we're told by the young man who delivered the tea that it would be taken off the bill. We were then made to feel as if we had lied about this too. All in all a nice meal but staff training surely must be at the forefront of any improvements here .

I've been to this place a few times and at first I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food but not the cleanliness of the kitchen and it does give you reason for a little concern. For me the sheekh kebabs were their signature dish, as they would cook to your individual taste and the portions were generous. The curries are ok but tend to taste the same, and in my book that's unacceptable as each dish should have its own taste and flavour. Over the months I've found the portions becoming less generous and the prices creeping up, although the alcoholic drinks are very reasonably priced. This is systematic of places like this becoming successful and forgetting what got them here.... Great tasting food. This place is very busy and parking can prove difficult especially at weekends.

Have been here a few time now as finding the traditional Bengali restaurants that you find on the whole very disappointing. The food is more authentic, taste fresh and full of flavour. As other reviewers have said the mixed grill is better than most and the curry's are generally good. I also like the chicken wings, fish pakoras, mogo and chili paneer. The only dish I didn't enjoy is the biriyani. Overall the food and drinks are cheaper than average. On the down side service is slow (at busy time expect to wait up to 45mins for food to arrive). You have to go up to the counter and order and pay for your food (small charge for cards) and then they bring it to your table. Finding a table at busy times is also a bit of a chore.Don't order your starters and mains at the same time unless you want it to all come together. You can't book a table so be prepared to wait at busy times and if you have a big group. The atmosphere is loud and busy. You do have to be patient but it's worth it. Give it a go.

My friends suggested that we all meet up there - for curry. I never expected that this pub looking building serves a good quality curry! When you go in, it did look like one of the common looking pub- with big screens and lively music. Not one of the classic Indian set up. Menu was also quite simple - it is one sheet menu but saying that Chef can accommodate what is not on the menu. And they do with no extra cost in general. They are apparently famous for grill menu - so we ordered chicken wings. I was expecting probably 4-5 chicken wings - I was completely wrong!!! Mountain of chicken wings ( no I m not kidding - literally 'mountain') turned up to our table - sizzling. Covered with spicy dry curry flavour - tasted tender and juicy. I saw other people ordering onion barghees - probably bigger than my hand - and comes with two per portion. Starter portion is massive - but curry and rice portion were not as big as that - it was just a right portion. Chicken Tikka Masala was gorgeous!!! It is not one of standard sit & get served type of Indian. You get a drinks from the bar - order a food counter - get your own cutlery ready as per self service. Just like pub or school canteen type of facility. It is different - casual and laid back attitude. I like it. Price is very reasonable - kind of place you feel you can casually walk in just like a local pub. If you are not curry eater you can order grills and have a pint and relax :-) they have a separate bar seating area. I do recommend this place - just be aware of turning up by the car. The place is massive and popular with tons of people but the car park is not big enough - so get there by taxi if you can.

Visited Bradford Arms for the first time with 5 of my friends last night. I wasnt expecting much to be honest as I have been to numerous BBQ pubs over the years. Upon entering this pub I was shocked as it is very modern and was full of people eating, there was quite a buzz. We ordered a XL mixed grill, butter chicken, keema balti with naans and masala fries. The food was very nice, tasty, cooked fresh and different to other equivalent pubs. The only complaint was the texture of the keema, it was in a sauce however still tasty.

Came here on British black friday and the pace was very busy. My first time here and it was a deceptively large establishment. As mentioned by others, drinks are very cheap and got 9 drinks averaging at £2 each. What I really came here for is food. We ordered most things off the menu, including starters, mains and curry's. The food took a while. But this was expected as it was comes from fresh. However when everything came out it looked good, but there was more salt than you'd get in sea water. This was consistent with everything we ordered.Tip for the chef. Lay off the salt and ease off the chilli a little. Other than that, good pub, great staff, cheap drinks and great atmosphere.

This place is busy and I can understand why...1. The drinks are cheap2. The food here is cheap.3. The food is tasty especially the sizzler dishes. You can have a sizzler dish with naan, salad and drink for less than a tenner. I recommend the sheesh kebab and ask for it hot. The only negatives (and this is a personal preference), is that they don't use chicken breast pieces in their kebabs, but thigh. The salads could be more generous. At busy the wait can be long, but it's worth it or you can always come early to avoid the masses.

The fact that the food is extremely cheap has no relevance as to the quality, flavour and taste. The chef is Nepalese and takes great pride in his cooking. He doesn't just limit himself to his menu, ask him to make you something different and he's up for it.This pub, purely for the food has become our local haunt. And more and more, we're hearing that it's not only the locals who are coming for his food, people from further afield are travelling just for his cooking.P.S. The Chilli Chicken is divine!

There is a purpose built kitchen with grill and tandoor at the back of the pub which serves great food to eat in or take away. The style is northern Indian but the chef will pretty much cook what you ask for. Don't be put off by the appearnce of the pub; it's a friendly and safe place to visit.Portion size is generous and if you eat in you can sit at a table in the back rooom of the pub. My favourites are the fish and the sizzler plate.
