The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

We have used Asham for some time and they have always provided me with tasty food, unfortunately the takeaway we had this evening was not up to the usual standard. We ordered Lamb Bhuna and Lamb Madras but the meat was fatty and tough to chew. Disappointed with this takeaway. If it's the same with our next takeaway I think I will look elsewhere. Sorry guys.

this has been closed for about a year , shame as the food was lovely , no idea what it is now , sometime sit is open but the shutters stay closed on the windows

The smell of this place is divine and is very promising of the food to come. The food is flavourful, the portions are generous and the staff are lovely and polite. Absolute favourite!

Now called Mehti Indian we had Chicken tikka masala bombay potatoes which were amazing sooo tasty loved it thankyou we will be ordering delivery again which was also very prompt with a delightful driver service

Great value Indian food in the Bromley area. Never been disappointed with an order from India Village. Staff are also really helpful with phone orders. Would highly recommend.

Pleasant food, served nicely. A good range of food. This was our second visit and it was as good as the first time, which probably says all that is needed.

The worst Indian takeaway I’ve ever had, chicken dry, some pieces were inedible, just a load of chilly chucked , no sauce will not be getting a Indian from here again

4 of us had a meal received a warm welcome service was very good all our food was excellent very good spice levels and all tasted amazing didn’t have peshwari rice on the menu but chef was happy to do it and tasted great will definitely go again

This is my third time ordering from Shangrila Kitchen and I cannot recommend them enough. Their food is delicious, fresh, well seasoned and has a kick of authenticity that can be hard to find from a takeaway, and the portion size is very generous. They always deliver quickly and the takeaway guys are so polite. 5*****

Zaika’s setting and decor is fabulous. However, the food seemed slightly above what you would get in Indian restaurants. I wonder whether the chef has changed. The food that we got wasn’t worth the £58.40 per head that it came to. And the service wasn’t that great. Our table didn’t get cleared after we had finished and I had to ask for it to be cleared. And even then, it wasn’t done immaculately. Somethings were taken and somethings not. The waiters didn’t remember/know who ordered what and bought the wrong dish to the wrong person. The waiters were also being instructed by head waiters (it seemed).

Super yummy Indian food! Prawn curry was th right amount of spice. Mrs T was also very kind and warm in service.

Un restau sympa ,simple et bien indien...le repas était très bon et les serveurs serviables. Le vindallo =ragout avec patate ( rare en Inde!) était très épicé mais excellent!
