Lovely food, asked us when we were ready for each course. Very attentive and polite service. They even found some candles for the top of our birthday cake.

First time visiting in it's current guise. (I think they said they'd been there 19 years) but very friendly, great service and the food was good too. Might not leave it as long next time 🤣

I came here for my 30th birthday. The staff were so attentive and friendly, they honestly can not do much more for you here they are lovely. All the food was just gorgeous and fresh! Especially the chicken bhuna , lamb khari and biriyani. In fact it was all so nice including the starters and even the chutney tray with poppadoms , I’m making my self hungry thinking of it all. Thank you for a wonderful day and we can’t wait to come back! Even my kids enjoyed it. If I could more stars I would :)

me and my cousin came in last night, the best service we’ve ever had! Delicious, 10/10 food (got the chicken tikka stir fry) and it was so quick to be made The staff are lovely had the best conversation with them and I can’t recommend you come here enough!! x

We were staying at the nearby Norton Grange Hotel and were looking for somewhere local to eat. We were delighted to spot this restaurant. It was around 8pm on a Friday evening and there were several tables occupied which gave it a pleasant atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we chose. If we lived locally, we would definitely return.

Had a few meals here over tge year. 12 of us came for a special birthday. Food was amazing as always, all dishes tasty, authentic, great variety of dishes and big portions! Very reasonably priced too Staff amazing, friendly, always attentative and accomodating. Look firward to coming back for more

My go to curry house eat in or take away great staff great food had party's there for 50+ people and they catered for all without a hitch we will be back again and again

What's wrong normally this is awesome place but I got a takeaway delivered. prices have increased 25% which ok everything is more expensive but all 3 curries where bland tasteless pepper and onion bulked out feel a bit mugged off did your chef have a day off and some random person decided to cook for you? Gonner take a lot to woo me back I can make better with a jar and some protein in less time than it takes for delivery sorry

Been to Zeeras a few times now. Food is always amazing, piping hot and everyone gets served at the same time. There was 14 of us tonight and everything was great. Staff are so friendly and very attentive. Definitely will be back again. Thank you

I come here about once a fortnight, and have done for many years. The staff could not be more helpful, professional and friendly. The food is amazing It is unlicensed so you can take your own alcohol I would recommend this place 100%

Went for a friends 60th party .they catered for around 50.guests. the food is amazing. Plus you can take your own alcohol as they don't have a licence.

Food was adequate onion bage wher cremated and the tikka sauce was watery and they also well over charged 40 odd pound for 2 tikka 2 rice onion bage 5 poppadoms and 4 nans checked the menu and the price doesent add up defenetly won't be back thiefs.

Myself and my family came here for my father in laws birthday meal and the food was incredible.. We could not be happier. The service was a solid 10/10. Suruj could not do enough for us, so friendly and polite. The chef even came out to greet us and ask us how the food was. Overall just a great place, great staff and lovely food. 100% recommend!

Not been to Zeera for a good few years but decided to give it a go again last night.(Fri 20/5/22) What can I say, My wife and I loved the experience. The food was truly amazing and couldn't find fault with anything. Service was excellent, We were taken care of, by a lovely Romanian lady named Maddie and a Waiter named Suji. The atmosphere was so relaxing and friendly. we got to meet a lovely family who were there to celebrate a young girls 12th birthday. (Thank you all for making our evening so memorable! Special wishes to your Mum for a speedy recovery). The Chef even came into the restaurant, visiting each table to seek customer feedback, all good i can assure you. We were made to feel that our custom was really valued. Will definitely return again soon and will have no hesitation to recommend to friends and family. Amazing from start to finish. The service was the best I have ever experienced and the food was truly fantastic. Our wedding anniversary was was made so special by the staff here, such a beautiful family. We can't wait to visit again.

Great food and service. Do not sell alcohol but you can take your own in to the restaurant. Can order and collect, or order for delivery. Worth paying a little extra than a take way for the great food.

We have just ordered a meal at 5oclock now I know it’s early but that’s no excuse for a restaurant to serve food that isn’t fit to eat we receive our takeaway but way of delivery, when we opened the bag everything was covered in oil which we cleaned up & excepted things moving in transit but we put out our meal & we was disgusted wife ordered a curry I ordered a special mixed kebab & chips & the freshest thing in there was the till recite, we are disgusted with zeera in castleton the manager cannot manage if you ask me he should have made sure this was perfect before leaving the restaurant, this isn’t the first time it has happened to us from here. WARNING STAY WELL CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. Had to give a rating to write this review otherwise they would have got nothing in fact a minus if possible

Hungry and undeniably thirsty I caught a taxi to this restaurant from my hotel, as the excellent Italian next to the hotel was closed for a refurb. On entering I was met by a sign telling me that I was allowed to bring my own alcohol. It turns out that this establishment has an alcohol licence but chooses not to sell it for religious reasons. So for religious reasons I chose not to eat there and went to the excellent little Greek over the road.

Brilliant, bring your own beer. Food was great. Had starters and mains. Service from the men who work there great. Always happy to see us. Not been in for such a long time, the place looked great must of had some work done during the covid closing restaurants. 5stars easy we will be back soon. Thanks 🙏🏻

Went to celebrate my daughter's birthday earlier this month the staff where very friendly, food tasty but had quiet a wait between courses. The New York cheese cake was nothing like the picture on the menu it was just a miserly slice of cake minus the fruit :( Had a lovely time though. Would recommend a visit.

It's such a shame about this place. It's beautiful inside, the staff are very friendly, but my Chicken (from the English menu), once I had torn into it, it was dripping with blood. The poor waiter was as shocked and disgusted as I was. Even though they didn't charge me for the meal, the rest of my family (wife and daughter) still came to £70. We won't be going back there!

Went here this evening for my wife's birthday, My daughter and I planned it as a surprise treat. Fantastic service, great food and professional and courteous staff. The restaurant has had a refurb and looks clean and smart, We have had a couple of takeaways delivered recently and decided to try it for a sit-down meal.. No complaints at all will be back in a few weeks as we have booked our daughters 16th birthday for her and a few of her friends.

Have had better from take away Donner kebab shop. Watered down chutney, at 60p for the smallest portion, dried up onion bhaji. Meat was old and very and tough. Only things edible were papadmm and the chips. Seriously. . Don't bother!

we visit this establishment 1 - 2 a week i tend to have a different curry each time and i cannot fault them. The food and service is out of this world. I would highly recommend a visit there you will not be disappointed.

Excellent food and service. Non-alcoholic drinks available but you need to bring your own alcohol. They provide glasses and open your bottles for you. There is a Co-op across the road so not a big issue and significantly cheaper than you would pay in a restaurant.

Tried zeera's a good few weeks ago for the first time and the food is amazing, the staff are lovely and friendly and its always fast delivery, the best Indian iv ever had and im a very fussy eater but dont have one bad thing to say would definitely recommend 😀

Went for a birthday do with family and was made to feel so welcome. Made the children feel very welcome and great selection of food and glasses for when you take your own drinks as they are not licensed .

What stands out is the. Pleasant service from the staff.... ordered pappadums but had only a small portion of onions...nice flavours though. Main curries were good but I would like to try more dishes to see what else they excel at

Went with my Wife to celebrate her birthday on a cold, wet Wednesday night. Lovely and warm, great food, great friendly staff. Thoughtful about alergines (dairy intollerant), willing to swap and change things. Lovely Food - we shared the set meal for two, both of us loved the food, and were pleasently full at the end, even refusing desert.

The best curry house around the Rochdale area! With out a shadow of a doubt! The staff will accommodate your every need whilst you enjoy the tastes of Asia. The food is outstanding. First visit to this restraunt. Staff very welcoming. We had poppadom's and dips for starters, curry and mushroom pilau rice and nann bread. The food was pipping hot. The chicken was breast, nice white meat, no fat at all. The prices were reasonable. This place is BYO alcohol, as they only serve soft drinks. I would definitely go again.

This Indian restaurant is excellent, the food is very good and they will try to give you what you want even if it is not on the menu.

Went with some colleagues from work. The restaurant does not serve alcohol, but allows diners to bring their own.It was a very warm evening and a few fans were brought out to try and keep us cool.I chose the Malaya curry, which was sweet and mild.

Having eaten here years ago I had a recommendation from a pal. He wasn’t wrong. The food tastes so fresh and freshly prepared. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. No license means you can save by taking your own drinks. No criticism whatsoever.

We don't often eat out as the husband is a pretty decent cook, but for a night out we often start here as the food and the service is good. Staff are welcoming and the food is tasty. This place also allows you to bring your own booze which is a bit of a bonus. Whenever we go there is usually a few other people but it doesn't feel too busy so it gives a bit of a cozy feel which I like.

Consistently good food from Zeera’s! The staff are friendly and you get to take your own beer. With a Co-Op off licence right over the road this is no problem at all, making the meal our a lot cheaper with off licence prices for the drinks!I’d happily recommend this place to anyone seeking a top quality curry.

Moved out of castleton 7 years ago and haven't been for a while, even though the ownership has changed and they no longer have a licence staff recognised me and we welcomed like regulars. Were able to take our own beer and food was lovely thanks

This used to be the best place for a curry, offering excellent value with their early bird menue... It closed down and then opened again, this time No early bird and no licence, so you have to take your own beer, but not soft drinks, you have to pay their prices. All that said, it's still great food and friendly staff. Well worth a visit
