missing item from delivery main meal too. which doesn't help with just poppadoms rice and naan. phoned up told redelivery in 10-15 mins. Sat waiting after finishing my starter, May enjoy with hot main cold naan and rice. not the best for a first time try with them.

The food at Imli is incredible. Their curries are big portion and flavorful, with just the right amount of spice. The tandoori dishes are perfectly cooked, tender, and full of smoky goodness. And the biryani is simply the best, with aromatic rice and a wonderful blend of spices. Imli Restaurant has become my favorite spot for Indian food. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great curry, tandoori, and biryani.

First time ordering from here , it will not be the last !! The food was spot on! Hot , fresh and tasty and wow .. just so much of it. Enough for 2 meals each minimum (we got the 2x Sunday specials )! All of it , couldn’t fault it ! 100% recommend. Restaurant style food without the hassle of going out. Perfect for a night in.

I do not post reviews until I have ordered a few times. I'm now 3 times in ordering from here for home delivery. The food is always spot on! From the rice, poppadoms, naan bread to the main courses. Madras was perfect and spices just right. Keep doing what you are doing Imli, we will keep ordering!

3 and a half hours late food not nice very greasy over fried chips when it finally arrived won’t be returning

Almost an hour and a half late. When i called said it was just leaving and i called again 30 mins later still haven't left! Would have preferred honesty. Our naan bread was missing but too late now to call and ask for it ☹️ The food was absolutely delicious to be fair.

Food from here is always excellent but the delivery time today was over an hour and 20 mins late. They also missed out all of the sauces and chutney orders for popadoms which made them inedible but I was refunded for those.

RUDE MANAGER would not go here! Actually walked out without eating here. Pre booked brought our taste card followed the rules of the taste card to be told off the manager he can refuse bookings if he wants to on the day because it’s a Saturday which is extremely laughable arguing with us infront of other customers which is extremely embarrassing. Screenshotted to show not once does it say you can not use on a Saturday actually says Monday - Sunday which inbetween them days is a Saturday no wonder there was only two tables booked at tea time On a Saturday with management and poor customer service.

We ordered this evening and once again everything was lovely. We had Chicken Naga and Chicken Madras with pilau rice, naan and poppadoms, we can recommend 👌

We ordered two set meals, Lamb Jeera , garlic rice, Keema rice and imli chicken were absolutely bangin. Unfortunately the chicken tikka main and chicken samosas were dry. Had they not have been I would have given them 5 stars. I would order again and give them another try but maybe something other than the tikka and samosas.

Ordered a few take aways and they’ve always been spot on, delivered quickly so still hot with amazing food with fresh ingredients. Decided to sit in tonight for the first time. The food again was amazing, shame it wasn’t busier in there but the service was good so not sure what the negative reviews are all about. If you’re close to Heywood then you should definitely try it - you won’t be disappointed.

Just had a delivery off them for the first time, I must say the food was spot on. Usually I find it hard to find a decent indian. but this has to be the nicest I've had in a long time.

We have been to Imli about 5 or 6 times and in my honest opinion it's the best Indian restaurant in town for a sit down meal. Last night was brilliant from start to finish. The attentive waiter Sayed who showed us to our table and Mafuz who kept the drinks flowing were excellent. Professional but friendly too. We had the poppadoms and pickle tray followed by our starter, the Imli Mix Platter to share. Beautiful food cooked to perfection. For our main course, we had a Tandoori Chicken Madras and a Chicken Tikka Vindaloo with Pilau Rice, Chips and a Garlic Naan to share between us. There was plenty of food for two in fact, for the first time we brought a doggy bag home. Definitely our go to Indian Restaurant in Heywood and would thoroughly recommend it to others.

quite nice chickpeas lovely/chicken madras a bit oily and not much chicken/ not very warm but coming from heywood to Middleton I think a bit too far! driver pleasant.

Heywood is very lucky to have such a good Indian restaurant. I've been a couple of times now and have enjoyed it both times. The service was good, and they even made me something that wasn't on the menu when I asked for it. The starters and accompaniments were tasty and the drinks were good value too. It was very quiet for a Saturday night so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We would definitely go again.

Cracking food as usual. The seekh kebab is the only thing that lets them down, it’s not freshly made. The Imli chicken however is amazing.

Food was ok... but the staff and service are beyond terrible, you're made to feel like an inconvenience. There were only 2 tables filled in the restaurant one with a family birthday party, the way the waiter screamed their orders at them when putting their food down was beyond rude, treating them like drunken animals (which they weren't) The person, who I am assuming was the manager, stood behind the bar vaping and watching tiktoks loudly, he didn't say thank you or goodbye when we left. I saw another member of staff behind the bar adding or removing small white packages from behind his phone case... make of that what you will. Give it up lads, you clearly don't want to be there.

Not horrible but not good the curries had very small portions off meat but lots off sauce, madras was very plain and had no spice almost like they forgot to add it, was ok at best

Tarka dahl haf a weird hirrible taste viuldnt eat it it went in the bin. Only 6 small pieces of meat in thr vurry which for £10 isnt exceptable. Samosas only small whuch is a shame becsuse they were lovely. Not sure id order again. Disappointed :(

We chose Imli for my graduation meal. Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy it at all. We ordered 2 lamb tikka masalas which were overcooked and did not taste of anything. I tried to switch one of them and the waiter tried to make me keep them by saying “that’s how tikka masala tastes”. The chicken Bhuna did not taste of anything. Asking to switch one meal out of three did seem reasonable to us but not to the restaurant. The restaurant did not even seem bothered when we left and all three portions were not eaten at all. We did regret spending a lot of money on such a bad meal.

Really enjoyed the food from here. Definitely recommend if you like Indian food. Will order again.

Certain members of staff are very rude and don’t care about the customers. abrupt, a bit dominating and makes you feel uneasy. and if you bother to ask questions or god forbid complain, don’t expect to get very far. they don’t make you feel valued, more like a bit of an annoyance. it’s like they don’t need you as customers, they are fine anyway. it’s odd and the food isn’t nice. the branded napkins and plates are of a higher standard than the food that’s served on top of them. overly salty, undercooked naan, loads of oil / ghee in the curry and the took about 1 hour to take out starter order from when we came in. maine probably arrived about 1 hour 45 minutes after we arrived. considering we had booked well in advance. the fact they just let us sit there for ages without even giving us a menu, or taking a drink order or even explaining to us how the menu worked / how the set deal worked that we had booked it was just a joke. if you don’t mind long waits, rude / ignorant staff and less than average food then this place should be fine for you there is just no need for the attitude of certain staff and the food isn’t all that and it takes you ages to order it, never mind get it. nah

Absolute shambles of a place horrible over priced food with rude staff. The owner doesn’t care about the standard of service people receive it’s like customers are an inconvenience to him! I order the dish because it said lamb, not lamb Tikka, so when Tikka arrived I was very disappointed. I hate Tikka as it is dry and tasteless. I don't know anyone who wants Tikka in their curry. You may have leftover Tikka, but please do not dump it in my meal, which was ruined. Apart from that it was fine.
