Three times now the biryiani has been delivered without an omelette- rather disappointing!

We only got one Roti instead of 2 and 3 poppadums not 4. The rest of the food was delicious

Arrived late. And no salad with the kebabs. My partner ate hers but It ruined my kebab too be honest. Foods usually really nice from here. But every time there’s a issues ie late or things missing

It was only a little late and I know there are roadworks between myself and the restaurant. So not a problem really. I did have to re-heat the food though

We went last night for the New Years Eve special and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. It cost £39.95 each with food and an in house DJ/singer who was very good. There were 3 of us in the party and and not a single complaint from start to finish. Plenty of poppadoms with mint, tomato, onions and chutney. The starters were 2 Chicken Tikka and a Chicken Pakora which were excellent with fresh salad. The main courses were Chicken Tikka Madras, Tandoori Chicken Madras (off the bone) and a Lamb Rogan Josh. All three tasted excellent. We had a couple of Pilau Rice and a portion of chips between us and a Garlic Naans and a Plain Naan which were fresh and hot. The only thing left was half a plain Naan. Not only was the food top class, the staff were brilliant too despite every table being full. Special mention to Sayed who worked like a Trojan from taking our orders to ensuring it was correct and how it tasted. No complaints whatsoever. His brother Sayem was on the till and taking telephone orders during probably the busiest night of the year ensuring everything ran smoothly. Special mention must go to Grorgia, a lovely young lady who ensured our glasses were kept full all night. Finally, when i complimented Sayed on the food before we left, i asked him to say thanks to the chef. He shouted him over and told us he was his father, Abdul. He was proud as punch when we told him about the standard of the food, especially dealing with so many deliveries as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We have had takeaways before from here and they have always been excellent but i will say this has been the best dining visit we have had locally for a long time and i would recommend it unconditionally. Food was delicious! No complaints there, however pre ordered at 5:30 for 7:15 arrival. Had to call and chase it, and it wasn’t delivered until 8pm. A shame, but probably a busy night! Would still order again :)

Went on New Year’s Eve , we arranged our table for 7pm, turned up and had to wait in the rain for 15 minutes as table wasn’t ready. Had a very rude staff member very rude, made me feel uncomfortable I also spoke to the manager in regards to this apparently the man had been in trouble before about how rude he has been to customers. AWFUL!!!!!!!

Food arrived over an hour late and cold. Restaurant lied about the reason. Curry was OK but rice was globbed together. Samosas very average. Don't even give you proper coke it's rola cola. First and last time I'll be ordering from here, very average

This was an unexpected opportunity While waiting for the bus we noticed the restaurant Unknown to us we've decided to go and give it a try It was all very lovely A warm welcome from the staff we ordered the banquet for 2 Which was very nice and well worth it's money And tasty They came and explained every dish Asked more than once if everything is okay or if we wanted something We'll definitely go back

Starters were good but the Lamb Kobedi Kebab was a bit dry. Curries were great the lamb was very soft in both curry’s and the imli chicken was bang on. Keema rice and nan breads were perfect. Defo best curry house around here.

Food lovely as always but delivery time was ridiculous. Ordered at 6.15pm.. got a notification at 7.23pm to say driver on way… no food by 7.45, rang the restaurant and the man who answered who was quite rude and kept interrupting my partner! Then said he would ring my partner back and put the phone down - no phone call so rang back and he said driver had just left. Food arrived at 8.15pm! 2 hours waiting! Usually our favourite takeaway but the last 2 orders have taken ages to arrive.

went to imli on wednesday night to celebrate my wifes birthday with family.drinks order served right away.we all had the midweek banquet which is brilliant value.all the food come out pipping hot.we all had differant starters and differant curries brilliant tasty food and clean plates all round.and a complimentary drink after our food.its by far the best indian restaurant near by.dont read the negative reviews.cant wait to come back.

The food took 2.5 hours to arrive on a Sunday evening and when it did it was cold. If the restaurant can't handle the amount of orders it should cut off at a certain point. I requested a refund due to the lateness and the cold food but was told I wouldn't receive one as the restaurant was very busy. I will not be ordering again.

Delivery took over 2 hours. When I called up I was told it had just left. I can only assume the driver took a detour because it took even longer. The food was lukewarm bordering on cold. Wouldn’t order again for the reason that they continued to accept orders they couldn’t cope with and gave false information over the phone. Such a shame as the food would have been good hot but you don’t order takeaway to wait over 2 hours.

Avoid at all costs. I’ve ordered on several occasions (Check out previous reviews) Always been great food and delivered on time. When things go wrong they really don’t care. The gentleman I spoke to was rude beyond belief, unable to apologise for the delay, blaming the app for stating food was on its way - it hadn’t even left the restaurant! I fully understand that things can go wrong or be delayed - but surely a simple apology is not too much to ask? Never again!

Disgusting food, cheap Iceland frozen samosas, staff’s attitude was disgusting when I rang to complain. The samosas were the ones you get from Iceland in a bag, lamb chops were like rubber and the paratha was freezing cold… all for £19…. Disgusting

Absolutely bang on this place. We’ve ordered a good few times now and it seems to be consistently good. The Imli chicken is amazing, little mini fillets in spices 🤩 and had a couple of curry’s now as been really happy with them. Also the rice is really well made and fresh which most places cannot get right. Zero complaints

Before the order the time was 35 mins. On ordering it jumped to 1 hr to 1hr 20. True time was 1hr 40. I had to ring because it was shown as delivered but was told it was just leaving for the restaurant. Just be truthful

Nice fresh food, particularly enjoyed the chicken samosas. Delivered by a smartly dressed and polite man. The kitchen has slightly let the cause down here though in that the massala sauce was like water, was no proper thickness or body to it.
