Fantastic night here for a 60th birthday celebration, there were 25 of us and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Food is absolutely stunning. Extremely happy with the service all round. We'll be back 100%

We were in town for a couple of days for the Billy Joel concert. Visited here twice it was so nice, very accommodating with my allergy too. Fantastic curry

Mos is family frendly and great for kids. Reasonable prices for a nice quick dinner. I can not think about any complaints (Alys age 8)

We come here often. Food always great staff very friendly. Open plan kitchen to watch the guys cooking. Great vibe. We always have a few shandys in the cons club over the road first, then lt s BYO beer and wine, no corkage.

Lovely food, beautifully prepared in the open kitchen. Always busy, so booking is recommended. The premises is unlicensed, so their bring your own booze policy makes for an inexpensive night out.

An absolute pleasure it was for me to attend this outstanding restaurant on the evening of Friday 22nd September 2023 with friends. The cuisine is on-par with that of counterparts in Manchester and Leeds - the Northern English home of Indian subcontinent food. The venue allows Customers to bring their own beverage and will put any in cold storage until required. Directly opposite, a 30 second walk is a hipster Off Licence. This make the restaurant very busy therefore make a reservation in advance even on a Monday to Thursday. All staff where a pleasure.

I was so amazed by the taste of food, super authentic and staff is really kind and care so much about their guests. Also I am in love with their Samosa I think it’s the best I had after so so long. I’d recommend this to everyone, you must must must try this restaurant 😍

Just visited ...ok ...pricey and no mention of corkage untill bill arrived . Not terribly tasty and as usual food went cold so quickly we wouldn't rush to go back there ...sorry but we were a little disappointed . Staff were nice enough .

A highly recommended and unique restaurant nestled in the heart of Penarth. Friendly and great staff, great amenities, location, and atmosphere. Food is absolutely delicious, from the curries to the coconut Nan bread; divine.

We arrived just before 21:00 and the place was packed - a good sign. The smell of valours as you walk through the door were amazing and sign of things to come. The food was excellent and we all agreed it's as good as it gets. The service was spot on.

12 of us ate at Mo’s last night to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious . All dishes came out at the same time so we all ate together. Food hot & very tasty. Staff are so pleasant & efficient.

Full marks on everything. Our first visit and definitely won't be our last.

Four of us met up last night for a long overdue get together due to Covid. Well as before Mo didn't dissapoint the food was excellent as always and likewise the service excellent. Really good value and definitely recommend this place to anyone 👍

Went here with my partner, popadomds to start, 2 x curry, rice, chips, £43 with own alcohol. Very fast service, very pleasant. Curries were excellent, right heat, lots of chicken, very nice.Live in Barry but would definitely go here again.....soon! :)

Decent food at a reasonable price however they made a mistake on our order and resulted in us all eating separate. Not as good as the Royal India in Dinas. Would only use as a backup. Flavour was a little bland.

In my experience Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants can be a bit hit and miss. So our first visit to Mo’s was particularly enjoyable. The food was fresh, tasty and served in generous portions. Attentive and unrushed service. Excellent value especially as it is BYO - the Bottle Shop off licence directly opposite has a great selection. My wife was given a single stem rose at the end which was a nice touch. Great location right next to the railway station. All in all a great adjunct to a visit to lovely Penarth.

We had a superb meal tonight. Chicken Kahri was the best I’ve ever tasted, paired with the lightest naan and fluffy basmati rice. Well done guys, we’ll be back soon.

There were six of us retired diners eating early with a table booked for 5:30pm. There was a PA speaker above our table so I requested that it be turned down, as we had a lot to chat about and didn't wish to raise our voices - they very kindly did that. It got busier at 7:30pm, so they turned it back up but that was fair enough. We were leaving soon anyway. The food was excellent and chef is happy to have any special dietary requests. We brought our own booze and corkage was 50p per bill, which is fair. The waiter had separated out our order so we each paid for our own rather than have one big bill for the table. My starter, mains, side dish and nan +corkage was roughly £20. All in all a very pleasant evening and am looking forward to the next one already.

Had a really nice meal, with super food & very nice service. As somebody else pointed out, they don't even charge a minimal fee for corkage, on drinks brought into the restaurant (although given they don't have a licence to serve alcohol, that is fair). All in all, a really good time, at a very inexpensive cost. Will def. go back there when in Penarth.

Nice friendly staff took a seat while waiting for my take away and watched the chefs do thier thing the boss threw in a few popadoms for free a nice experience

Got a take away , £40 plus, no poppadoms. OK so not a big deal but takeaway prices no different to sit in prices, always given one or two before so really disappointed with them. Will look elsewhere now it,s the principle, they're not the cheapest option so if they want to save 30 or 40 p on their costs good luck and goodbye.

The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and looked after us . We took our own alcohol and they don't charge corkage..

First Time meal from MO'S and can honestly say it was superb one of the best meals I have had from the numerous curry houses in penarth and beyond if you love your food and good portions to boot give this a go and delivery was within 5 minutes of estimated time said by the friendly voice on the phone

Had an early evening meal at Mo's. Everything about it was first class, the food was spot on. The staff were attentive at the same time light hearted. Really good experience.

Well, last night saw my second visit to Mo's and I must say, the food was every bit as good as on my first visit (which I did review). Tells me the quality food is consistent, not a one-off. Perfectly cooked, delicious and tasty, wonderfully aromatic food. No sogginess in rice, no dark bits in the chicken... and a place that has already seen a positive review from me, gets another. A hearty thank you for a great standard of cuisine, done before my eyes. Well done Mo's

Having tried another Takeaway nearby on my last visit to penarth, wanted to try this place and I must say.. In my view there's no comparison. I arrived a little early for my collection but Mo's encouraged me to watch my food being cooked. Got the food home and was piping hot and the aromas were mouth watering. My mam, wife and i thoroughly enjoyed this food in every way. Absolutely delicious and for future visits.. There will be only one choice for me. Mo's. Thank you for delicious food.

Ordered from here for the first time tonight for five hungry curry heads We are all impressed, the quality of the food is way above par. Ordered our usual indian fav's, jalfrezi, butter chicken,rogon josh, tandoori mix, sag aloo, ctm, breads e.t.c filled 5 of us with lefties, the saffron pilau is really good. I’m a huge biryani and Indian food lover, so when I came to Penarth and saw Mo’s, on a late rainy night I decided to stop by and get a super spicy biryani. I’m happy to say it was a delicious meal (samosas were not great) and the portions were abundant

I had a vegetarian curry, nothing to rave about but friends had other dishes and loved them. Side dishes were tastier than vegetarian curry so recommend have several of them instead. Take your own drink keeps everyone happy.

Having ate Indian food across the world for many years I have been surprised that to get the best food is not down to some warm far off expensive location but it’s down to culinary excellence and sometimes that can be found in your own...

Small Indian restaurant, nice ambiance, lovely menu and food tastes fresh and authentic... bring your own booze small corkage charge. Have been here a few times and ive never been disappointed! Staff are so friendly and attentive

Have eaten at the restaurant regularly and found it very good, however, they let themselves down with their takeaways. I had heard they were not fresh food but based on my experiences at the restaurant I thought I would give it a go, but sure enough mine was very poor. Vegetables were ruined and certainly not fresh. Green pepper and onion slushy and prawns ruined and Bhaji oily and stale. When you are paying the same amount for takeaways as eating in you expect the same standard and freshly cooked food. Very disappointing. Hope they address this.

I have had some excellent meals at Mo's, however last 2 meals a dissapointment, especially the lamb, which has gone from tasty and tender to tough and tastless, massala sauces overloaded with sugar and too sweet to eat. I will keep returning and hope the owners improve

I came to this restaurant with my partner and half way through he noticed a hair in his food, we immediately stopped eating and informed the main waiter who went and showed the kitchen - It is open plan so we saw him do this, he shouted at them and then tried to blame my partner in saying the hair was his even though he was wearing a hat which made no sense - They offered us 10% off the bill and we'd only ate half the food. There was no remorse for the situation at all, just trying to put the blame on us - Disgusting customer service DO NOT EAT HERE!

Mo’s is quite a small restaurant on the train station forecourt in Penarth. There is an extensive menu, the meals we had were all really tasty and the portion size was just right for us. service was very good and attentive. It’s BYOB ( there’s a bottle shop just opposite handily!) Happy to recommend.

Ate at Mo's last night and really enjoyed it! Looks a bit dodgy from the outside but don't be put off. Had a king prawn jalfrezi and chicken dupiaza which were both amazing. The prawns were huge! It's BYOB which is ideal given that the bottle shop is opposite! Really good value and the service is friendly, yet not overbearing. Knocks spots off Paramount Tandoori next door which is abysmal!

It's quite a small cozy place that doesnt look much from the outside - but the service and food was excellent Have to say the absolute tastiest peshwari Naan I've ever had

I live locally so have been a few times. Over the few years its been open this restaurant has improved out of all recognition from its fledgling begins. I cannot fault anything but the staff treatment of their customers is remarkable. But, not to be forgotten, the food is really excellent which im sure you would like to know as potential customers.

First visit for youngest sons birthday as he is a regular there. More of family came for their first visit. Outwardly it does not look much but inside very stylish with a welcoming staff who were not pushy. Like the large print menu. Excellent choice of meals. Do not serve alcohol but not a problem as you can bring your own with an off-licence opposite. Food was very good, portion size just right. Reasonably priced. Will return soon.
