Indian Harvest in Rossendale

10 of us went for a meal here over the Easter weekend and I was really impressed. The service was great and everything we had was absolutely delicious. We all ended up taking loads home with us and I loved finishing off every bite. Would definitely come here again.

My favourite Indian restaurant. The food is delicious, the service is great from friendly staff and the decor and atmosphere are warm and welcoming. Takeaway deliveries are just as good.

It’s not often that I come to an Indian restaurant and cannot finish it We had starters and mains (Aje Baje and Mirchi Bahar) and they were superb. Looking forward to eating the remains later this week

It was once excellent but now just average.

We visit here regularly and always have a good meal. The food is great and service is really good too. They are always happy to accommodate us as we never book.

I didn't eat food from here so can not really comment on that but the service on the phone is what made me not bother. It was like talking to dumb and dumber i gave up and put the phone down. I did ask if they were having issues with there phones and they seemed to not understand that there was a delay in the call Hungry tied and fed up by this time i went elsewhere.

We regularly go to a well known and very popular curry house in Burnley, but this place is in a different league. After eating our meal, all four of us agreed that it was the best Indian food that we have ever had. The elder brother served us and was very chatty and helpful. We are going to be visiting on a far more frequent basis from now on.

First of all the food here is AMAZING !! I have a dairy intolerance and they really helped me choose what to eat- using oil instead of ghee. This might seem trivial but where I live in Burnley, no takeaway places will offer me diary free food. I had Sheek kebab which I haven’t been able to have for years and a delicious Chicken Rogan Josh. The service was really great too !!! Nothing was too much trouble !! On another point the facilities were beautifully clean and modern. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit them again !! Oh and the cost was very reasonable too !! Thank you- we had a great time !!

Very fantastic place, been wanting to come here for a while finally visited and now will be back more often, staff very friendly, decor is beautiful, starters were lovely, all the food itself was excellent, seating is comfy, price is very decent too, highly recommend this place

Excellent place for a curry ... one of the best currys ive have ...i had the tikka chilli massala... the staff are brilliant too ... if you want any extra heat or have a flavour preferences just ask the staff here and they will sort it out ... reasonable prices .... ill definitely be using again ... fresh tasty currys ..

I had a. Nice takeaway with my boyfriend of onion bhajis boiled chicken shashlik rice hot veg curry puppadoms and some mango chutney and onions in a sauce was really good service friendly staff where nothing any bother they arrived within half an hour food was lovely and hot have been a few times now and it never disappoints always fantastic

First time visit to this gem of a restaurant. Cant fault it at all, the food was lovely and hot. The service was great considering the restaurant was full and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely return

New Years Eve 2022, having decided not to cook and order from our favourite restaurant, just minutes down the road, we were not disappointed. Yes there was a bit longer to wait for delivery but hey it was NYE, we were not disappointed thou we never are, just amazing well cooked tasty food. Shami kebab, veg samosas, poppadoms and chutneys, chicken tikka bhuna garlic, definitely plenty of garlic hubby stunk morning after 😀😀 butter tikka chicken, and kulna Gosht, rapidly becoming my favourite after lamb dhansak pilau rice and onion rice and a garlic nan, and oh yes we were full but deliriously happy 😊 thank you so so much Indian Harvest

Having sampled curry across the country I'd say this is one of the best I've ever tried. We are regulars since our first visit and it's worth the drive if you aren't local. Great food and great service

We were running a little late so rang ahead to apologise and they were fine when we arrived Shown straight to our table but had to wait 30 minutes before they took our drink orders They did take food orders at the same time but we were waiting another 40 minutes for food When it did arrive it didn’t arrive altogether they brought rice sauces and bread and only 3/6 mains The waiters didn’t really care We had to continually ask for plates and the other food by which time the rice etc were sent back as it was cold My meal was forgotten about completely One of our party actually left and I’ve had food poisoning for two days Do not recommend and will not go again

Visit here regularly as I only live a few minutes away. Always a pleasure with food and service both excellent. There's a pub downstairs too if you fancy a couple of drinks before or after. Highly recommended. (They deliver too if you fancy a night in)

If I could give these guys more stars I would. The most friendly, polite & accommodating restaurant & takeaway, with stunning food! Always going above & beyond re dietary requirements & allergies! They even remember what mine are. They’ve also suggested & invented dishes if I was stuck between two or fancied a particular flavour. Highly recommend!

Myself and my family visited the Indian harvest on Sunday tea time for our daughters 40th birthday. The food was amazing, the chicken was well cooked, everyone had a different curry and they were also really tasty, my husband loved the coconut rice it was all nicely served and the staff are so nice and friendly. The price for 8 of us was really reasonable Can't wait to go again, so may have to try a take away which my daughter highly recommends she has them regular since Covid and says they are just as good as the restaurant. Pay a visit you won't be disappointed. I will be seeing them soon,I hope

Went for an impromptu meal Sunday evening with our friends. The food was absolutely fantastic, coupled with excellent service from the team meant a great experience unrivalled anywhere. Consider ourselves so lucky to have such a fantastic restaurant on our doorstep.

Visiting yesterday evening as I’d seen on Facebook they had set up a really nice outdoor eating area with fairy lights and heaters. Service was fab and food was delicious. Nice meal out!

Had a very pleasant meal. We took advantage of the Eat out to help out scheme, so it was a bargain too. The mushroom puree starter was delicious as was my saagwalla. I’d forgotten how good the food is here. We need to go more often. Staff friendly and following governments guidelines, socially distant, all wearing face shields and taking names for track and trace.

Visit from Scotland with my dad, this must be one of the best restaurants I have visited in the last couple of years. Food is very excellent, very friendly staff. Lovely owners. I came here for an evening meal with my family. We have 3 young kids and we were made to feel welcome from the get go. The food was outstanding and everything was cooked to perfection. Definitely one of the best curries I've had in a while. We will definitely be back again!

Visited the Indian Harvest on a friends recommendation... found excellent food served in comfortable stylish surroundings, good vibe and friendly efficient staff. I’m not from the area so it was a pleasant change to view a different menu and try curries we hadn’t come across before. A great first experience!

My friend and I ordered take out from here last night. I’m not a massive fan of curry but I like it every now and then. My friend regularly comes here and couldn’t recommend it enough. She was right it certainly didn’t disappoint I ordered king prawn bhuna and it was so tasty. Definitely recommend and will definitely return. Great value for money and friendly staff too.

Eaten here easily 40 times and we have always been pleased with the food. Tonight different story:There were 8 small pieces of lamb in my curry, the dish was full of vegetables tbh. The rice was excellent. The nan bread was on cooked properly underneath on half it. My kids shared a dish and both have had toilet visits since coming home, as have I and two are of us feeling sick. I have wretched three times, felt absolutely fine before going. Mentioned a few points to the staff, ignored feedback. Won’t be going back ever again. Poor overall.

We stay in a Rossendale village for two night ,find this restaurant in Web searching , postcode “not really right show ! “. Good service , tasty Indian cooking .

Following a couple of recommendations we gave this restaurant a go and had a lovely time. It's an Indian in disguise as it doesn't have any of the usual Indian decorations. We had to wait for a table and I asked if we could be seated because we couldn't study the menu properly in the foyer, I was a bit bad tempered about it ( I have no idea why) they were lovely about it, seated us straight away. The food was hot , delicious and well presented.

Food is always excellent the service is also fantastic good banter with the waiters.we are regulars here and never had a bad meal eat in or take out

We have been coming to Indian Harvest for about 3 years now, we have NEVER had a meal we weren’t happy with. The staff are all lovely, and the food is delicious!! 10/10!

Good service and great food. The wine list could do with a rethink, but service was friendly and timely and the food is great at this village restaurant. Nice atmos too, all in all would defo go back again and again :-)

Arriving around 5.30-5-45 it was a cool and slightly dark room, dark enough to make it slightly difficult for my tired old eyes to read the menu clearly. Having ordered main meals only, it seemed a long time to arrive, but probably wasn't. When it sis arrive everyone seemed to enjoy the taste, but I felt there was too much sauce, not enough 'solid' content. On the whole it was a successful visit, but not one that draws me back in a hurry.

I visited here with friends for the first time in November and loved it. The chicken shaslick was really tasty and the mango salad was extremely good. Highly recommended.

Great food, lovely courteous staff. Reasonably priced. Car park at side but usually busy. Its wise to book as theres usually quite a lot of people there so if you dont want to be dissapointed ring to book a table

Great meal yet again. Would like to thank all the staff for a fantastic party. Our party consisted of 14 and was to celebrate my sister's birthday. We received a warm welcome on arrival. Our table was ready and waiting. The service was great which isn't always easy with such a large group all wanting different. The food was delicious, as always. A birthday well and truly celebrated.

We have been a few times now and each time we have had a really good experience. As other reviewers mentioned, the staff are friendly and helpful. The food is excellent with a good variety of dishes. If I was being really picky the menu contains the usual dishes you would expect to find, there is nothing particularly creative but I guess they have tailored it to their customers over time. I can highly recommend the Sagwala with king prawns. They have a kids menu with Indian dishes plus a few options for ‘non believers’. If you are in the area, definitely give it a try.

I love this place. We try to go as much as we can the food is always magnificent. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Always a brilliant night with spectacular food an a tremendous atmosphere.

We moved over to Cowpe about 3 years ago and tried all the nearby curry houses and found Nila to be quite good, Ashoka to be disgusting, THEN WE FOUND Indian Harvest and have to say FOOD IS FANTASTIC, atmosphere is good and we go with our little 30 month old daughter that they have watched grow up and the staff are always very warm and welcoming. Unless your going to go East z East or Rajdoot in manchester then this place is the best for miles !!!!

Visited for the first time last night with family for my birthday treat. Enjoyed every minute, the food was exceptional, the service first class. After we had finished our meal, I was treated by the staff to a little cake with a candle firework, just a little touch like that made an enjoyable meal into a memorable one, also the Zambuca at the end, also a very very nice touch and very much appreciated. Will definitely be back.

Best Indian Restaurant in the Rossendale Valley, in fact it's the best Indian meal I have ever had

If you're following me, we're moving to the area (from nearby anyway) and sampling the local eateries. This was a couple of months, but from memory (my yardstick for a good Indian restaurant is how they do lamb) the food here was delicious. As usual, we made the mistake of over-ordering and couldn't eat it all - portion size was good - and taste was even better. The peshwari naan was deliciously memorable too. The visit was a few months ago and so I forget the exact cost, but whilst not cheap it probably was well worth it.
