Always fantastic food and service 👌

The Nila has been a family favourite since I was a child but we've not been for a few years. First visit in about 10 years on a Friday night and it was as good as I remember. Food cannot be beaten in the area. Lovely service from Raj and the team. Jinga Jahl, Tikka, Biriyani and always fresh chapatis.

We ordered Chicken Chat and King Prawn in Garlic Butter for starters. Mains Chicken Saag and Lamb Rogan Josh. All the food was fresh and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was quite busy for a Sunday. Would recommend.

The food here was incredible, very tasty and big potions! The staff also made our experiment fantastic, they were so friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed, they really did go above and beyond in their service. Thank you, Nila! We will be back again soon.

First visit today recommended by our son who is a regular. Top quality delicious Indian cuisine . The staff are very friendly and the food is some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Very generous portions took some of our meal home for supper. Highly recommendable and we will definitely be returning

Took my lad for his 14th birthday with the family and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Couldn't do enough for us, really enjoyed the mixed grill and one of the best curry houses for miles. Still an absolutely brilliant curry house, but be careful if you order the chilli masala, I swear to god it was cooked by J. Robert Oppenheimer.

Didn't like waiter hovering behind me when eating

So ordered off local takeaway app as it said would be ready in 25 minutes, when order place it then said an hour, currently sat here an hour and a half later still waiting with blood sugars dropping fast and I’m type 1 diabetic. Would never use this place again

Staying in the holiday cottages in Rossendale. Was recommended by the owners we try Nila. Was not disappointed at all. Food was absolutely beautiful. Staff were fantastic on arrival. Very chatty and welcoming. Nicest Indian we have had in a long time. Will be hard to beat. Definitely going to come back. Most definitely deserves the 5 stars.

Very mediocre. Not been here for years , services was ok . Assorted sauces with poppadoms was very good . Onion bhaji, very hard . Main course Goa chicken, tasted like out of a packet . Side vegetables tasted awful . Not good .

Lovely food the first time, we picked up delivery as they said it would be too long to wait. Staff was very polite and offered me a drink whilst I waited for my food. Definitely order again

We have been coming to Nila for a very long time and we are never disappointed. It’s definitely our favourite Indian restaurant and the food is consistently delicious. Raj and his team always provide fantastic service, including dish recommendations and they make every meal there a lovely experience. We regularly celebrate family events here and I’m sure we will continue to do so for many years to come. We also often get take away food from here too and it’s excellent value for money, generous portions and the food is always so tasty and freshly prepared. We are so lucky to have this place on our doorstep!

We have eaten in the restaurant previously but after our regular curry house went into decline over the past months we decided to give Nila home delivery a try. We were not disappointed. The curries were incredibly fresh & the meat tender and lean. The sauces were beautiful & obviously freshly made with quality ingredients, rice cooked to perfection and the naan breads lovely. Very very impressed so we will be back!

Nan breads are so lovely like a croissant in texture, light and layered to perfection. The tandoori mixed grill is absolutely divine, prawns are large and the lamb is exquisite, chicken is a large portion, absolutely a must try for any carnivore who wants a treat. The sauce is made to how you prefer it with a touch of spice for myself, razzala sauce is a lovely option for anyone and the children had the pakora with a beautiful dip. Staff could not do enough for us and very much deserve a tip in my opinion, attentive and most importantly welcomed us as family. Bravo to the nila excellent in every area and a asset to Rawtenstall.

i was recommended this place from one of my good friends, they said and i quote "the best indian shes ever been to" going of this i decided to pay a visit and i must say it was nothing but disappointment. firstly the poppadum's came out cold, secondly the starters came out in half an hour never been to any restaurant thats took this long and DONT get me started with the main course took 1 hour to come out and the chicken didn't taste like it was cooked properly SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO TO A DIFFERENT INDIAN SUCH AS KASMIR OR INDIAN HARVEST!!!!!!!!

Really enjoyed the food at Nila, Rawtenstall. Our first time there but impressed with the fact they accommodated us despite us not having booked even though they looked quite busy. Great service.

I went to this restaurant after reading Google reviews. I don't know about other dishes but I was utterly disappointed by the food that arrived. The atmosphere was nice and the staff was courteous but the Masala Dosa I ordered was pathetic. Even the sambhar was not up to the mark. It was my first and last visit to this restaurant.

Best Indian for miles around. I've taken visiting family here, and they can't praise it enough. My favourite is the tandoori lamb chops. I also love their sag paneer (creamed spinach with cheese). My brother loves the mixed grill, lots of different meats, lamb, chicken, etc, tandooried and bbq'd. We also love their curries but have had too many to mention them all. Needless to say, we've never had a bad one. I often pop in for a takeaway, and they are always so friendly and chatty, usually giving me a complimentary beer as I wait. Sometimes, the wait is quite long, maybe 15-20mins, but they are busy, and I dont order beforehand. Hence the beer to drink whilst I wait. I dont mind at all as it means my food is cooked to order and you can tell when you eat it. They also carry a great selection of wines. Nila's has spoilt me for all other indian restaurants.

Called in the Nila the other night and was not disappointed. Onion Bhajees excellent, my Chicken Royale was as good as I remembered and my husband had the Chicken Shirazi which was something new for him and he thought it was excellent. Great staff and atmosphere.

Nila is an institution in Rawtenstall. Raj and his team have been there over 30 years. The place has had a few spruce ups over the years and it currently looks pretty good. We had not been for sometime but went Sunday evening with friends and it was excellent. The food was lovely and we got a friendly welcome. The place was busy and they were a bit short staffed but this had no effect on the service. Highlights for me were Onion Bhaji and the Bahari Chicken. Will not be so long before our next visit.

Lovely food and great service, had the roshen bhuna royale and it was really tasty. The house wine was also excellent. Will definitely return to this well run restaurant.

Had a fantastic night here with attentive staff and very nice food which was very well priced and will visit again.

6 of us popped in for a selection of curries. All the starters and main courses we had were excellent. Service was a little slow but the place was rammed and when we chased the order they provided courtesy naan to keep us going. Would go again and with a bit more time would also check out the craft beer place just round the corner

By far the nicest curry house in Rossendale!! Went last night, a party of 9, the food, the service, the waiting staff, everything was a solid 10 out of 10!!

Went in on cup final day with 3 of my pals and was totally unimpressed. The service was abysmal. Rude waiters trying to rush us through ordering and eating our meals despite the fact it was on 8.30pm and hardly anyone was in there. The food was at best average. The waiter even took the curry away while there was still some in and my friend was trying some of mine. Service terrible , food below average , I will never go in this place again. I can only assume the good reviews are because they have regulars who know no better

Wish I didn't eat so fast, totally forgot to take a photo. It was absolutely delish.. !! Lamb Madras and Lamb Jalrezi .. I only got a takeaway but I was gifted a couple of beers which was a great welcome in this stupid hot weather we are having. Definitely order again from this place. Staff friendly and excellent food. Absolutely TOP DRAWER Indian food. Full of flavour and tender meats/tikkas etc Service was respectful and polite and of course Raj the manager always goes the extra mile. If you want full flavours and an imaginative specials menu then visit here and have a less obvious special. You’re going to enjoy it

Visited Nila again tonight, never go anywhere else for a curry. Always fantastic and never lets us down. Service was brilliant as usual. Tried some different dishes tonight and every single one was delicious.

Nice place the food is very good Dopiaza and the plain curry sauce was very good. Staff are friendly and was very welcoming food took around 15 mins. I would recommend this place and when I am in the area again I will be going back again.

Food was nice, quite loud and busy when we arrived at 5.30.

Had to return its that good! Tandoori lamb chops take a while to cook but they are worth it, and the chicken tikka shaslick is truly delicious!

Had a fantastic takeaway last night!! Not being the best cook and entertaining friends, was an excellent choice. Food was ready exactly when confirmed, with a few beers thrown in and a discount!! Food was hot and don't think anyone was disappointed with their choice and very little left over (always a good sign) Highly recommended and will definitely be a returning customer

Another shocking experience not to be repeated, food has turned up for the second time garbage slop Chicken tikka jalfrezi like spicey soup with chicken in no taste just like powdered sauce ! chicken chat taste of chemicals chick peas like bullets puri bread like a poppadum, Lamb dopiaza tastes like a karahi too much cinnamon never had it in a dopiaza before lol naan bread burnt i have no clue who is cooking the food there but they can not cook full stop Weird thing is i know your capable of cooking a decent curry but your standards have dropped and you have lost our custom now, £43.00 in the bin !

Service was excellent, food from order to table was fast and friendly. Food was hot and tasty. Portions a good size. Only thing was we was charged for drinks we didn't have. Soon rectified when we noticed it. No NHS or Blue light discount. Would go again.

I have been visiting Nila for more years than I care to remember and I can honestly say that the food and service is always amazing. I would go as far as saying that this is THE BEST Indian restaurant in Lancashire and I always look forward to visiting or indeed a takeaway. We had a really good visit to Nila. We ordered a set menu and the waiter was happy to adjust one of the dishes. The set menu was well priced and the food we received was really tasty and lots of it. Service was great, really friendly and efficient between courses. Really enjoyed our evening.

Nila ,what can I say food is superb the service is always first class ,the staff make you feel special and that's every one . Lets talk about the food the Nand breads are mouth watering . The sauces are always the best you will find . try the samba if you like a kick , The king prawn leaves your taste buds blown away . Rice always fluffy and smell is mouth watering . The best on the menu for meat eater is the Tandoori mixed grill . And one not on the menu is the Spicy chips as a side dish hand cut fresh chips with a spicy coating . Try the mixed kebab starter or onion baji Rather than go on and on about the quality try it your self . Price rating is very economical. I have been in Indian restaurants world wide this sits up with the best .

Visited here over the Easter bank holiday, was very busy which is great to see, being busy didn’t affect the service they was attentive and the food was top quality as always. Highly recommend the Bhuna… my partner gets this everytime and it never lets us down. Great to see business booming again. Well done and keep up the hard work.

Tried Nila last night for the first time for my partners birthday, we ordered the set menu, the portions were huge we had to take some home! The lamb was tender and melted in your mouth and my partner said the samosas were the best he’s ever had! Customer service was great and the price was fantastic!! Will definitely be back - nila will now be our Indian of choice!

Almost as soon as finished the main course we where presented with the bill. Got asked to vacate the table and on information they we where staying for drinks we still got asked to leave the table. Happy to take your money but not be...

Great restaurant but their delivery option is utterly terrible. Saturday evening and over 2.5 hours later plus three phone calls only to be told "it's on its way" three times. Simply do not use them for a takeaway under any circumstances.

We fancied an Indian takeaway tonight and have recently been very disappointed with the offerings locally and then we remembered Nila... Have to say they certainly didn't disappoint! I've not been here for quite a few years but they are as good as ever. The portion sizes are phenomenal with great big pieces of chicken. The nan breads were fresh and perfect. We will definitely be back, thanks

Back to our favourite restaurant for the first time in a few months… was well worth the wait! Served by Fred who delivered excellent service and recommended the most beautiful dishes. Adil was lovely too. All in all a good visit with good grub and...

Dropped off family for a table booking on a Saturday night for them to be told at the door they couldn’t seat them as they were to busy with takeaway orders and could they come back in an hour !! No we can seat you but there’s a wait on food just come back later needless to say we didn’t give then our money and went elsewhere appallingly service when you have booked for an occasion
