Excellent food and service as always. Fantastic choice and quality. All staff are always very friendly, polite and nothing is too much trouble.

Tonight I decided to order a collection take away order from the Anarkali. Earlier this week I received a flyer through my door stating that they were offering a 30% discout if you paid cash collected your take away & orderd on line. I orderd on the on line website & chose my meal. Picking to pay cash & collect my order for a 30% discount. It stated that my meal would be ready for collection by 6:35. I arrived at the restaurant and was told my order wasn't on their ordering system. They said I could order again on site. I asked if I would still receive the 30% discount & they promptly replied with a NO as I had to order on line. I walked out empty handed. The customer service is diabolical. I will not be going again & urge people to be very wary of the online website ordering service. It makes me wonder how many other people have had the same experience & had to pay in full at the restaurant just to get there order.

So we've just had our first meal here and what an amazing experience. The food and the service were second to none. Visited with family from Portsmouth and in their words 'we'll be back'. Absolutely we'll worth a visit

Rang up on the day and they still managed to squeeze us in. Greeting on arrival really friendly and shown to table straight away. Menu choice is amazing with lots of choice in all sections. Food was served deliciously hot and when we asked for a break between courses this was no problem. Lovely lounge area to relax and let the meal settle before setting off for home. Nothing too much trouble, we will be back!

Yet another lovely meal at Anar Kali. Relaxing atmosphere, quality food and friendly staff. This was a Mon eve but have been many times over last few yrs, weekends and weekdays. Sad to see the place empty this eve as the owners try so hard. This is a family run restaurant, much better than a chain. Try it!

Excellent service and tasty food allround. Booked in advance for a couple and got a lovely table. All table were full which say something. Chill chicken massala was absolutely delicious however it made me sweat. :)

Went for a meal last Friday after friends recommended this restaurant. Well we weren't disappointed greeted by a gentleman who seemed to be the manager shown straight to our table and it just got better from service to the best indian we have had for a long time. Will definitely be back soon really good experience.

If I could put more than five stars for this lovely place I absolutely would! No brainer! I’ve been coming here for a couple of years now, and have become quite the regular. The food is the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever tried, but the lovely staff, charming interior and excellent customer service have to be the number one here! Can’t recommend enough.

This was our 1st time visiting Anarkali and it certainly won't be the last. The restaurant is well laid out, with ample seating, from booths for 2, to larger groups. The selection of food on the menu is amazing, as well as the wine and beers list. When the food arrived... Oh my! It was amazing, and tasted divine. The service was excellent and all the staff were really attentive, but not overbearing. The cost was very reasonable, and well worth the money. We have eaten in many Indian restaurants around the country, and can safely say this is in our top three, only beaten by our visit to Goa. Give it a go, you definitely won't be disappointed!!👍🏽👍🏽

Ordered takeaway from Anarkali, there was some initial delay in getting the order to us but once phoned and spoke to the restaurant, they were quick and attentive in getting the order to us and made up for the delay. Food was excellent and would not be put off ordering again.

I love Indian food and love to cook it but was too tired to go out or cook for myself. I wasn't expecting much and chose the restautant based on the revoews which were good. But I forgot where I live. To be polite, I would say it's not cosmopolitan. It is quite an affluent area but that isn't reflected in the local restaurants. The food arrived late despite a reasonable tip. Itt was chicken tikka puri (spelled puree in the menu but I knew what it was) and butter chicken which isn't an easy dish to cook. Spicy doesn't mean hot and neither of these dishes should be 'hot' hot. The issue was there was no spice, no cumin, no corriander, no garlic no anything. Nothing. The puri sauce had small pieces of chicken tikka which appeared to be in a vegetable sauce with uncooked but warmed tomato. The butter chicken did not taste of butter but cream and completely unspiced, flavourless. The chicken tikka used in the dish was dry. The rice was supposed to be pilau rice. There were a few bright red grains in evidence but no seasoning at all, not even salt and it was watery. But I think that this is more the customer base than the restaurant. Customers who appreciate good Indian food generate good cooking. This is by no means the worst restaurant in the area. But I can't differentiate between poor and terrivle.

Amazing place, a lovely warm welcome as soon as we walked in, service very attentive and friendly, cannot fault the choices on the menu, one of our favourites is pistachio chicken, complimentary Baileys too, well worth a visit 😋🙂

Not sure why this place keeps getting such good reviews. Ordered a take away last night and after an hour and a half I rang to see where it was. The staff didn't have a clue I was left hanging on the phone for over six minutes listening to them argue. They then put the phone down so I tried several times to ring back. When I eventually got through they hadn't even started my order. It finally arrived nearly 3 hours late was luke warm and the chips were dry and old. No apology nothing. Whitecroft in future every time for me. Update. The same day the owners contacted me and gave a full apology and explanation to the problems they had that evening. I appreciated this. They also offered a free meal of choice for any day. We have just had that meal and it was really very good. It was tasty, delivered quickly and piping hot. Thanks again.

Good food let down by really poor service. 40 minute wait for a drink, incorrect meals delivered, not all mains arrived at the same time. Had to chase up the drinks 5 times. The bill was also incorrect. Very crowded bar area and people standing near our table waiting to be seated. Staff didn't seem bothered.

We have only been a couple of times , so far but have found the food very nice. They seem to have a much larger choice of starters than you often get in similar restaurants which is great. The staff are extremely nice and great service. There is a lovely ambience in the restaurant. We'll definately be going back.

Nice atmosphere but the food was underwhelming especially for the price. I had the Biryani which lacked flavour but my partner was ok with his meat.

We had a reservation for 6, but upon arrival, there seemed to be confusion, leading to a 20-minute delay before getting a table. It took an additional 15 minutes to receive our drinks. The food was average, and despite the hefty bill (£96 for 3 mains, 1 starter, and 5 disappointing soft drinks), the overall experience left us with mixed feelings

Beautiful meal today. Mixed tandoori starter, Afghani lamb curry with the most tender lamb ever. Beautiful and tasty. Really enjoyed it. Lovely staff 👌

Just back from having the most wonderful meal at the AnarKali Indian Restaurant at The Farmers Glory Inn in Haslingden. Greeted and looked after by Yasin and his wife Salma from the moment we walked through the door.....the restaurant is spacious, very clean and has lovely tasteful furnishings and decor throughout. The restaurant provides a full and very extensive menu, you definitely won't be stuck for choice. The food was absolutely deliciously tasty, piping hot, so fresh and full of flavour. Starters were had, then for my main course I had a Special Mixed Pathia, Trish had the Exoctic Shashlik and Mr G had the Marki Massala each with sides. I have never tasted lamb so tender as that which was in my meal tonight. Thank you once again to Yasin and Salma for their hospitality and to the chefs who cooked this delicious food for us...it was truly appreciated 💖 x x Thank you Helen Yates for the recommendation 💖

Nice decor, food was great! Unfortunately the seating is tight inside as tables are too close together so it gets very loud very quickly. Service was OK, but if you're seated away from the bar you get forgotten about, waited some time to order extra sundries and another drink.

CHRISTMAS DAY What an incredible and special experience, eating out on Christmas Day at Anar Kali. From the second we walked through the door, the welcome and atmosphere was amazing. Christmas flowing through the restaurant with all staff wearing party hats and classy decorations everywhere. We were seated and complimentary fizz given before taking our order. We have never had a Christmas Day experience like this one. Lots of choice on the Special Christmas Menu....within the price we could have poppadoms, starter, main, rice, breads, pudding and coffees. We were also given chocolates and wine which we appreciated so much. The staff literally couldn't do enough for us. So friendly, warm and welcoming with adaptations made for one of our family members, who wanted a plain Korma...nothing was a problem and the food was exceptional and perfect. We were too full to have our pudding so the staff put it into containers to eat at home. Our elderly member of the family chose traditional Christmas Dinner which came with all the trimmings and he said it was beautiful...it looked delicious. Crackers were good quality, with superb surprises inside that kept us all entertained in between courses. The whole experience was superb and we didn't want to leave. We will definitely be back next year. Thank you to you all front of house and back for the commitment, care, love and expertise you shown to us all on Christmas Day to make us all feel special. Food was pretty good - in particular the King Prawn Puri, the prawns were huge! The manager is an arrogant bully and sadly ruined the whole experience. I sent back my main as they brought me the wrong dish, I didn't like it and I didn't eat it. I told the waiter and asked him to knock it off the bill. When the bill came it was still on so I asked again for this to be taken off. The manager came over asking what the issue was and he got very argumentative and quite aggressive saying that I should have told him that I had an issue and not "just a waiter" who shouldn't have agreed to knock the meal off the bill. I explained that I just told the person who took my food away and I couldn't be expected to wander round the restaurant looking for him. He was very arrogant in the way he spoke to me and then said he was going to knock my meal off the waiters salary!! I have never been spoken to like that by anyone in a restaurant and it was their error! Wont be returning!

Booked for 20 of us to get together as a group before Christmas. Expected it to be a bit disjointed as we're quite a big group and there was another group in too; couldn't have been more wrong. The staff were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble and the organisation was a sight to behold as all 20 meals came out at the same time, all hot (none had been standing in the side) all delicious and no mistakes with sides or accompaniments. The best Indian, with the best service and probably the best group meal I've had in years if not ever!

Poor service , takeaway quality food, very slow taking orders and order was wrong when it came out, too expensive. If in rossendale go to Kashmir or nila. Tried telling staff about orders being wrong but was ignored.

We ordered a takeaway to be deliverd. It was extremely bad service. Arriving late, we called several times chasing it up and just getting fobbed off. An hour and a half after the time they said delivery would be it arrived. Only to find the vegetarian meal ordered was chicken. Which did not go down well with the vegetarian person. Also a nan bread missing. I would have thought they might have chucked a few extra in. Wont be trying it again. MM

We were a group of 4, including a couple on holiday from Australia. Food and service was excellent, as usual, from this quality Indian restaurant. My wife and I had chef signature mains: Komka Fully Chicken, which included a shot of Cointreau, and I had the Chooza Chat-Wala. Both delicious. Our friends both enjoyed their Danchak and Korma meals. One of the owners took the trouble to check we enjoyed our meal and had a chat with us at the end. There is good parking space available at the side of the restaurant and plenty of vegetarian options. It also has an easy entrance for wheelchair users. This restaurant is well worth a visit and to support a quality local business.

Went for evening dinner, food really nice and enough too satisfy your appetite, can't comment on cost as it was a friend's treat.

How lucky am I. I received a message from Anar Kali Indian Restaurant at the Farmers Glory Inn on the top road heading to Haslingden. I HAD WON A £40 TAKEAWAY. I ordered a takeaway for 5 of us, with starters, poppadoms, naans. The food was superb, great portions, lots of things on the menu I've not had before. It was delicious. Ready on time. Piping hot. Don't be out off as it's on Haslingden Road. A 15 minute drive for us is no different for us to go to either Dunscar, Edgeworth, Egerton or Ewood. We are so blessed to have such quality food to choose from & I can't wait to eat in the restaurant. THANK YOU SO MUCH

In my personal opinion the best Indian restaurant in my local area. The food is simply authentic and cooked to perfection. A wide choice on the menu of both food and drinks. First class service and a wonderful host. Would well recommend going.

Been a few times and never had any issues but this final time we was very unhappy.. we was a party of 6 and ended up nearly being there 3 hours for starters and mains. While we saw a table of 10 come and go in that time.. then when the food arrived we wasn’t to impressed… Unfortunately this has put us off coming back.

Shockingly long time waiting for food to arrive,we had to constantly ask where it was, waited nearly an hour just for the starters to arrive, waiters didn't seem to know anything about where meals where at or advising on the menu. Its a shame as the place itself has welcoming ambience,

Usually excellent but I fear standards have dropped. The lamb chops were flavoured well but slightly overcooked. The main disappointment was the duck. There wasn't much of it but as it awfully chewy this might have been a positive. The sauce was basically chilli and sugar, a far cry from their incredible prawn puree that I enjoyed at New Year. I think perhaps they make more effort for special occasions and weekends. Don't visit during the week!!

Enjoyed a really lovely meal here tonight with an old friend. Very large chutney tray with some interesting chutneys I'd not seen before, followed by a tasty mixed grill. Great atmosphere and friendly professional staff.

Delicious food everytime! I usually have a Pathia but after seeing the wonderful reviews regarding the Afghani Lamb Korai, I had to try it! It was incredible, I've never had lamb so tender and the taste was amazing. All the food had powerful flavours and was cooked to perfection. The staff are all very friendly and the restaurant is lovely. I'd highly recommend

First visit to this restaurant in 6 years because we'd heard it was under new management. What an absolute pleasure. The service was warm, polite and very attentive. The food was excellent. Fresh and full of fantastic flavours. 5 ☆ We'll definitely be returning.

Been twice over the last couple of months after wanting to try it before since before COVID. It's probably the best Indian food i've personally eaten to date. I'm a bit of an addict for a good Madras and it was phenomenal, to the point I wished there were double on my plate. This will definitely be my go-to place for an Indian meal out from now on.

Just had a delivery of food, amazing flavours and quality at good prices. Great customer service and experience, would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Ten out of ten ordered a take out and was not disappointed cooked fresh curry’s was amazing and the lamb chops fantastic garlic Nan was spot on even tubs of sauce along with the rice and especially the chips was lovely will be ordering again very soon

We love visiting Anarkali. It holds special memories for us (we got engaged here 💕). We came for a meal and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing! We ordered far too much and had to bring some home, but it was all fresh and delicious! They kindly left us for 5-10 minutes between courses to let our food settle, so we didn't feel rushed. Waiters were always walking around, so we could order drinks if we needed to. The staff and owners are very lovely, and we look forward to visiting again!!

Just overall a great place to dine

Ordered food to be delivered, it was so underwhelming. The Afgani Koria was the only thing with some flavour, everything else was bog standard takeaway such as the rice being old and dry, onion bhaji were supermarket level. I hate giving bad reviews, but I also hate spending money on food that just isn't worth it.

We had a takeaway for the family this evening, the food and service were excellent and it arrived when they said it would do. I look forward to either our next takeaway o actual visit to this restaurant!

Visited mid week with friends. I haven't been for a few years so was really looking forward. Sadly the food wasn't as good as previous and I found the waiters couldn't identify what we were eating as a few people in my group had asked for specifics with their meal. I had lamb chops for starters which were OK and for my main chicken chat, unfortunately all the vegetables were burnt when I mentioned it to the manager I got no response, for £25 a head I expect more. Shame really

Very poor take away. Bhajis like card board, watery tikka masalas and tasteless chapati. Tiny stale poppadoms too. Such a shame 👎

Superb restaurant , we stayed over in the carpark in out camper and have to say the food and welcome we got was top notch , brilliant service the staff couldn’t do enough for us , no doubt that we will definitely be back.
