The best restaurants serving Indian food in England

Every time we go to this restaurant we have the most amazing service. The food is superb. The dining room is immaculate and the service is second to none. I tried the salmon curry this time… it was excellent.

Good Indian food, served by spontaneously friendly, nice guys - as good as it gets....a first class experience 👍🏻

Enjoyable from the start this quiet Indian restaurant has some excellent food. We had the Thali which comprises of three courses, served in small dishes. Truly different and very tasty. They have a novel selection of non alcoholic drinks that they make up. Quite honestly more than each of us could eat. A foodie delight. The only down side were people that came in from the street to use the toiler and some noise from the bar next door.

My wife and I just sampled the Kirthon menu and everything we had was simply superb! It is very rare to experience such amazingly tender chicken - in the chicken tikka starter and the speciality main Sylheti Murgh - which were both quite outstanding and delicious. We can also recommend the sheek kebab and the chicken makhani, which my wife had. We have been before, some time ago, but had forgotten quite how good this place is. Well worth going!

Our regular takeaway/ delivery, usually so good Tonight, the food was appalling?? Poppadoms were stale and ruined because they had been put in the bag with the hot food? My usual ceylon chicken was bright red in colour, no flavour, bland, chicken poor quality? The garlic and cheese nan was more like a pizza? Oily and tasteless Chicken pakora looked like it came from Iceland, bland and oozing old oil. Same for the shami and shish kebabs, onion bhajiis. Bombay aloo was overcooked, Oily and a startling shade of bright red, Tarka dhal is usually so flavourful. Tonight it just tasted bitter? Chips were not cooked/ oozing old oil? SO disappointed What a waste of £50 Will not be ordering from here ever again and would appreciate a refund, (from the restaurant directly as you were happy to send out this unacceptable food)

I ordered the Delhi special…. Sorry but no prawns were in the dish!!!… I ordered the dish as I was expecting at least a couple of prawns.

My first visit, so, being the fussy person I am, I can not immediately give it 5 stars. Warm welcome. we were early Saturday evening, so it was quiet. We had popperdoms to start the lime pickle was very nice. As its the first visit we had starters calamari and lamb kebab. The mains were delightful. The mushroom rice was the best I have had anywhere. The aloo gobi was also a treat. The wife had a deshi dish and I tried the gurka bothered tasted fresh although my wife would have preferred more "heat" I liked the fresh taste and the heat from the chilli's and not from a paste! They offered extra chilli 🌶 for my wife but the taste was excellent. So we didn't need it. Would I go again, certainly. I would probably not have the kebab starter but that's again just my choice not because it wasn't nice. I am looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for a loverly meal.

My regular choice for a takeaway meal. The staff are very friendly and the food is prepared to a high standard with generous servings. Highly recommended.

Great food again guys but then order naan breads there's never any filling in side this is every time order

Llevo años y es un verdadero placer, siempre tenemos una comida para llevar ya que estoy en casa. siempre caliente, excelentes porciones, a veces guardo algunas para el desayuno! Cada vez que hay algo que celebrar estamos en Easton Spice, para ser honestos de vez en cuando nos estamos animando ¡Gracias a todo el personal!

Had dinner here for my dad’s birthday in December and never again would I eat in there, restaurant was cold, service slow and it was empty! was like we were a problem being there, food very poor and not cheap!

Had a takeout tonight and the food was fantastic well worth the money. Had Lamb Tikka Biriyani naan bread and onion bhajis. Will be ordering again

Ordered a box meal for two tickets chicken spicy potato and mince with bhuna sauce and nan bread total rip off was shit loads of rice and chips in a box absolutely disgusting for twenty quid. Never again.

Proper British style Indian grub. As soon as you walk in to the open kitchen you can see these guys are seasoned pros of the game - owner is absolute G and never fails to chuck in a bit extra. Asked if they could create a truly authentic dish for my father in laws bday a while back, with 24 hours notice they can whip up off menu delights - great place

Great food, great service. They don’t sell alcohol but provide glasses for your own. We will go again because the food was really excellent.
