A very fussy husband who requested his own kind of curry. Food delicious and thoroughly enjoyed, very reasonable too. Thursday night 8 course special

Food was quite good, but portions were smaller than we get from other takeaways, so for that reason, we are unlikely to return.

Ordered 3 meals for delivery, arrived and the order was mushed up in the bag!, hard to disseminate what meal was what!! Tried to call the restaurant with no response. First time with this restaurant and the last!!

First time going here. The food was tasty, went on a Monday night it was very quiet. Prices were very reasonable too

We love the star grill box, but ordered at 6pm for a 7.45 delivery, had to phone at 8, and seemed like order had been forgotten.. Finally arrived at 8.20 pm, then discovered no king prawns, as per description.. Disappointed, unfortunately.

Had another fabulous take away. Chef added extra garlic just how we like it. Nothing is a problem. They cater for all needs. I would highly recommend. 20 out of 10. Outstanding.

Having moved to Australia 23 years ago from Washington this was my first time back eating at the 42 year old restaurant and my this awesome food has been sent from the Curry gods. Absolutely fantastic curries that almost want me to pack up the the place and take it back down under. To top it all the staff were not only attentive, happy to see us but we’re keen to have a laugh as well. A great place that has and still does stand as a great landmark in Washington.

Tandoori chicken - madras - rice - chapati - so fresh , the salad that cam with the Tandoori Chicken was v v nice - the freshest ive had from any takeaway

Fantastic meal and service as always I've used Star Tandoori for over 20 years and they've always been excellent. I'd definitely recommend them.

I've been coming here for many years and never had a bad meal and was always tasty food. It was my go to place for a curry. The last few meals I have had were not of the same standard but the last meal, I couldn't eat. The curry tasted a bit off and the carton of chilli pickle smelt funny and had gone slimey. This put me completely off the whole meal and it went in the bipn. Whether this is linked to the 1 star food hygiene award received from a recent inspection, I can't say. Suffice to say, sadly, I will no longer buy food here again.

I live very close to Star Tandoori but always return as the food is fantastic. My wife and I like to work through the menu but I always go back to this curry as it is my absolute favourite and it is always delicious. Easy to order. You can collect points for money off future orders and delivery always within the suggested time scales. Brilliant food and service.

Ordered the naan wraps. These are a family favourite as they are absolutely delicious and very filling. They are also an absolute bargain at £5.00 each! Definitely recommend.

Had starters and main meals which were gorgeous, only slight disappointment was my king prawn masala the prawns still had the shells on but will certainly be back.

Best onion bhajis to date! Perfectly crisp and tasty with yummy mint sauce! I had tikka patil which is normally medium heat, I requested it less spicy and it was spot on! Hubby had madras which was delightfully received... Extra popadoms as usual, and as a whole a great experience, with apologies for slightly delayed delivery. See you again soon!
