I ordered the food from them after reading the reviews First, the food was late The second smelled like old food I called the restaurant, guy who picked up was so rude I won’t recommend

This is a review for the takeaway, not the restaurant. Probably the worst takeaway we have ever had. We ordered almost £50 of food (3 main courses, 2 naans, 2 rice portions and poppadoms and pickle) and ate almost nothing If you expect anything approaching authentic Indian food, this is not for you. The korma and chicken tikka makhon were so sweet, it was like eating dessert. The lamb tikka garlic chilli was slightly better in terms of the sauce but the lamb was very tough. The rice and poppadoms were excellent but they were the only redeeming features of an order that was otherwise thrown in the bin. The person who responded on the phone was polite, empathetic and helpful. Nevertheless, he had to admit their curries were not authentic but had been adjusted to fit a ‘modern English’ palette in other words, he admitted, they like ‘bad curry’. And that is unfortunately what this was. I’m genuinely sorry I can’t be more positive. But this is an honest review based on what we experienced.

We have had many delicious meals from vale curry house, tonight’s however was extremely disappointing , food not very warm although delivered on time, prices always great, but tonight’s food tasted like left overs tough chicken and nan bread, shame really as never had complaints before

You can sit in a nice curry house anywhere but nothing beats your own home. To show just how good Vale curry house is, we recently went to an award winning curry house for a sit down meal and sat there saying 'it's really really nice, but it's not quite vale curry house' Can see why it's rated as highly as it is.

We had food from here for the first time tonight and it was absolutely amazing, highly recommend and will definately be coming back ourselves! Food was incredible, full of flavour, well presented and hot and the delivery was so quick. Happy campers in our house tonight. Thankyou Vale House.

Average curries, sauces were all very similar in flavour, all very soupy in taste with far too much base gravy, with no clear definition in flavours. The curries need more oil to carry the flavours. Fat=flavour. The chicken tikka in the curries didn't have much of a marinated taste, certainly not cooked in a tandoor as you'd expect, appeared to be just pan fried or cooked in an conventional oven. Naan breads were ok, nothing special. Portions were large, but would have preferred better quality over quantity. Free poppadoms was a nice touch along with onion salad and Mango. Delivery was exactly on time, as requested. I've eaten some very good curries in the past, sadly this wasn't one of them.

Love it here, food is amazing and staff are so helpful - ordered online and selected the wrong address and only realised once I had placed the order I rang up and they corrected this for me instantly. Great customer service.

Brilliant take out ..food is mouth watering ..and there customer service is second to none, I had a missing Naan told them and they didn't even quibble even after 3 weeks later they gave me a full refund on the Naan ..live this place

Where can anyone get a decent take away curry these days. We have used our usual restaurants but decided to use a take away instead and decided to try Vale curry House for a change as we had not used them for a while. Well what a total disappointment. The starters were OK but as I had pre ordered on their website we assumed that what was ordered was delivered. The chicken I ordered was far too hot and the peshawari naan was not it was plain. Unfortunately I couldnt eat my curry as it was far too hot. Gues what when I contacted Vale curry house they said well you ticked the box on the pre order but didnt say what strength when you ordered on the phone. I said I assumed that the orders would have been linked. Be WARE never order from this place. They even said my card had been declined so I wanted to pay on card over the phone , bu they wouldnt allow this either, so when it was delivered I paid cash £32:50 for something that couldn't be eaten. Don't touch this place as they aren't bothered. I just wanted my money back.

Had a meal delivered tonight from here for the first time and totally recommend it. We had coconut rice which is our favourite with Chicken Sagwala and Bombay Aloo. 5/5 for delivery and food.

Everytime I order from here it is quality. Each curry tastes different and authentic. Lots of choice, my personal favourites ceylon (never heard of before here), madras and dhansak. Great service with attention to detail!

The food is delicious and good portion sizes, my husband loves the rashmi kebabs, the staff are very friendly and polite, the place looks exceptionally clean, would definitely recommend.

Honestly I mostly love this curry house everything is fresh and delicious. But tonight I tried something I wont be trying again "old style chicken tikka masala " did not like that at all sorry.

This meal has to be one of the worst I have ever had. So many issues I don't know where to start. Suffice to say I will not be ordering from here again.

Amazing takeaway. I have used them for many years and the food is fantastic. The curries are very authentic and they will cater for all tastes. The Staff are really friendly and the place is exceptionally clean.

Delicious, definitely the best curry house in the area. Easy to order online with delivery (within 4 miles) or collection options. The only improvement would be offering meals suited to children (i.e. Kids korma, chips, nuggets etc). My husband and I had curry but had to cook separately for our son, so not ideal.

Had chicken Korma, it was awful. The sauce was like water and just really didnt enjoy it. Naan bread was good though , thats about it

I took a gamble on ordering a curry from this company and my god, what an amazing experience! The quality, taste of the meal was A1 - Really superb quality. I can't fault the place in any way shape or form. I've now used them again and the second order was as good as the first. The delivery driver was friendly and If you want a great curry that doesn't have dry chicken and uses high quality ingredients - then this is the place to order from. One only negative is that they don't have bottled drinks for sale - so no bottle of coke or fanta... Maybe something you guys should look at. Thank you for amazing food and will be ordering again - that's for sure.

I love the flavours and spices of curries but I don't like chillies, this curry house will make it as mild or as hot as you want. Never had a bad meal and service is great.

Just had a chicken dupiaza, hands down the best curry I’ve had from anywhere in a long long time. Will definitely be back again.

Could not be bothered to cook dinner so I said to the wife what do you fancy and she said curry, disappointed she didn't say me but hey. Looked at the reviews and we had had a recommendation so we went to get take out. The service was excellent and the waiting time was minimal. The food was delicious and there is plenty of it to boot. Side note, they gave us some free poppadoms and dips. All round great place to get a curry from, I would recommend here in a heart beat

There are few restaurants that offer genuinely excellent food. Fewer still that do so consistently. Vale Curry House have done both ever since I first ordered from them. Not once have I been disappointed. It's been a genuine pleasure to continue to explore their cuisine as the menu has changed and grown. The Naga Chicken is simply delicious and has real fire and flavour in equal measure. Every meal has been memorable, and you could, with a reasonable degree of certainty, simply choose something at random and expect it to be a meal to savour. With there being an ever increasing number of establishments to choose from, it's hard to know which to favour when you've never experienced their food before. Save yourself future disappointment and try here first. There are few restaurants that could hope to compete, and I've found none better yet.

During lockdown I've ordered a few Friday/Saturday night takeaways, and Vale has always been the best for a good curry. Nicest onion bhajis I have had in a long while, everything is always consistently tasty. If you order direct online you can customise your curry, increasing/decreasing spice level and adding more ingredients, which is great. My partner always has a chicken tikka sagwalla and theirs is the best he says. Last night I ordered for 9pm delivery but was struggling to get back home in time, so I rang and asked them to make it around 9.30 instead. No problem. I got home, and they delivered at 9.32, good going for a busy Friday night. I just wish they had a restaurant, haha

Ordered food at 5.45pm, still waiting at 8.50pm. JOKE ITS A JOKE. The on line order stated 1 hour 11 minutes. Rang the shop and they just keep saying it's on it's way. JOKE.

We never fail to be completely satisfied when we order from The Vale Curry House. The food is packed with flavour and the service excellent. Great value for money....you don't mind a little more the food is so good and always consistent.

Simply the best by far, great service, price and happy to help. We've started to use them regularly now.

The curries here are far superior to anywhere else in Stoke on Trent including the best well known restaurants. I just wish they would deliver further afield as I live just outside of their delivery zones and I have to collect but it is well worth it.

I love a good curry - this is the best one I've had in my local area. Everything tasted really fresh, even the poppadoms! I always go madras but I had an Achari with madras level hot - I never knew I could have goosebumps and sweat at the same time!! Gorgeous though, couldn't fault it at all - I would perhaps just say if you're toying with going hotter then just be careful!

Great delivery service, had tikka garlic chill chicken madras style also had chicken Jalfrezi both curries got no taste, I have made better myself, Nan breads were doughy and raw, first order we have had from here won't be ordering again. Very disappointed.

I ordered a curry on recommendation I've just had my first meal from vale curry house obviously delivered due to this isolation. you know when your that full but the food is that good you cant stop eating it and iwouldnt say it was expensive at all .massive portions absolutely delicious and I will be ordering again and again.ive had a biriyani before but normally its greasy but this was beautiful Thank you for filling my belly I cant move lol

We were recommend to try here by my son and what an amazing take away absolutely gorgeous dont use anywhere else now been coming here for close onto 12 months. The currys are to die for and loads of it can always put up 2 meals always arrives piping hot and depending on how busy delivery is not to long. Meals always come with free popadoms and chopped onions, great choice of starters mains and all side dishes rices and naan breads. If you collect space is available outside the shop and the guys are always ploite and friendly keep up the good work 👍
