It's my local Indian, hits the spot most of the time. Staff very pleasant.

I've been going here once every couple of months for the past year or so. Food is great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Sadly it all seems a bit pricey now, mainly due to the drinks.

Four of us went to Blue India last evening and enjoyed a very good meal. The food was excellent, the service was first class. We have had a takeaway from here before which was equally good, will definitely be using this restaurant again.

This past Saturday, my wife and I enjoyed a lovely evening at Blue India, the restaurant in Langton Green. We started with a prawn appetizer, and I have to say, it was absolutely outstanding—cooked to perfection with incredible flavors. For our main course, we opted for the Tandoori Grill and Chicken Korai. Both dishes were not only beautifully presented but also full of rich, authentic flavors. The Tandoori grill was perfectly grilled, while the Chicken Korai had just the right balance of spices. After our meal, Kaji J Hasan prepared us refreshing iced drinks, and his service was truly exceptional—friendly, attentive, and made the experience even more enjoyable. As we wrapped up the evening, Mr. Badrul and Mr. Sunnah kindly saw us off with a warm goodbye. A huge thanks to all the staff members for their excellent hospitality, which made our evening so memorable. We are definitely looking forward to coming back

We called in on our way home from a long day driving, service was excellent, food was delicious and although we were the only 2 in the restaurant the atmosphere also excelled.

Honestly quite disappointed with the food. Starter was really bland and the main wasn't much better, just with a bit of extra heat/spice. I enjoy trying new indian restaurants but this was not enjoyable. A little on the expensive side which I wouldn't mind if it was any good. Service was fine, beer was good but neither of us were particularly happy with the food in the end.

Went to this restaurant with a good friend tonight for the first time. What can I say everything was fabulous, food was exquisite and plentiful best chicken tikka masala I've ever had. Atmosphere was lovely and decor in restaurant is very beautiful.the service was brilliant never felt rushed at all and they were attentive but not pushy.good value for money overall a fantastic experience we will definitely be back , thanks blue India.

Starter - Chicken Chat Puri In a word, bland. Very little flavour or seasoning. Very little heat. Seemed like it was mixed in with some soggy cucumber and onions, so the texture was just quite unpleasant. The chicken also seemed a bit...cheap, maybe? Mains? I ordered a Garlic Chilli Chicken Tikka. If it weren't for the bits of garlic, I'd be forgiven for thinking I've been served baby food. Mushy, bland and not much flavour. The menu advertised it as a 2-chilli heat level, I'd disagree if it should even have one chilli at all! The quality of the chicken was also somewhat questionable and a bit rubbery at times. My companions ordered a Deshi Karahi and Kazi's Signature Dish. The Karahi was probably the best out of the three dishes on our table and while that also wasn't worthy of two chillies, certainly did have a slight warmth to it as time went on. As for the sides and sundries, the Bombay aloo was good and the rice and bread was fine. I don't mind paying more, but only if I liked the food. On this occasion, we all left somewhat disappointed. And despite the pleasant interior, the food feels like it's something out of a budget curry house stuck in the 1990's but with the pricing of an up-market gastropub. Even a bottle of Kingfisher is £7.25, whereas some other places are only charging £4.95. Did we come on the wrong night? It was a Friday night so I'd hope not. Regardless of what day it was though, you've just been visited by the Bromley Curry Conosseurs.

We ordered over 100 meals for a Cricket Club event today. The restaurant helped us find a good choice of dishes for the varying ages of the attendees. The food was delivered piping hot directly to our pavilion, already neatly packaged for distribution. Once the young and old cricketers and their families had collected their food and tasted how good it was the comments I received were very positive. Absolutely a horrible experience. The food came very late. Starters were cold, food was sweet and it is not Indian food for sure. Think before you choose to go. Spent £300 but it was absolutely waste of money with family and friends. Terrible food. I would give zero star if that option was there.

Excellent as always. We go back to Langton once a year to see family and always visit the Blue India. The food last night was better than ever. There is always a great welcome.

Food was okay , some of it didn’t turn up so that says it all, still charged for it and promised a refund . Still waiting . I was told this was a great place to order from , the whole experience says different. Hopefully I will get a refund for missing items

Excellent food, generous portions, really friendly staff.

Had a takeaway a few months ago, was next on my list to find a tasty decent Indian around here. Once again tasteless good, lack of spices and looked and tasted like frozen veg poured into the dishes. Will not be going back. Surely it's NOT difficult to get food right!!!

Found this gem of a place by pure chance, on route from a visit to my sister in Uckfield We were greeted promptly and politely by 2 great people, Khan and 'V' who were running the place and serving the food, service could not be faulted, timely and well mannered and smiling. We had a fabulous meal of popadoms, 2 mixed starters, chicken tikka Ceylon, butter chicken, garlic rice and a paratha. it was all extremely delicious and super fresh tasting. One of the best Indian meals we have had out for several years and we enjoyed every bite of it ... now have the Blue India in the sat nav for all future visits to my sisters 👍 Thanks for a great meal guys 😁 We will be back

What a find this restaurant is. Delicious food, incredible service and a lovely ambiance. We live in Tunbridge Wells and don’t often venture out of the town for dinner but I’m so glad we have. We’ll definitely be back!

One of the best Indian meals we’ve ever had! What a lovely restaurant; the staff were genuinely friendly and made us and our baby feel so welcome, the vegan options were great and the food was all delicious! We’re not from the area but would come back in a heartbeat. 100% recommend!

This evening is not the first time we have eaten at Blue India, but it definitely didn't disappoint. We were celebrating my father-in-law's birthday and it was well worth the visit. The food is always delicious, whether you opt for a tried and tested dish, or take a recommendation. We could not fault the service - the staff are attentive, without being overbearing - and the atmosphere is the perfect balance of being intimate without feeling awkwardly quiet. I genuinely don't know why anyone would leave less than a 5 star review - any negatives I have read do not reflect the wonderful restaurant we have visited. Can't wait until our next visit, and will definitely be bringing friends!

We had a fabulous meal Saturday night for my sister in law’s birthday, excellent food and the staff are great, can’t recommend it highly enough.

Food and service is brilliant! We had a family dinner with our two young children for valentines. The staff were very welcoming and offered complimentary drink for the occasion and a nice touch of chocolate and a rose at the end for myself and the kids. Highly recommend for a great meal out!

Having received a valentine's based txt from our regular, Blueindia on Sunday, come Valentine's, I decided to treat my partner. Having placed my order, Blueindia called to inform me I'm blacklisted and they will not deliver to us. I was totally unaware we had had any previous issues, other than the fact that they do not deliver to the door, instead, parking up the road and phoning to have us walk out to collect the food. Because of this, I admit I do not tip the driver, despite being asked outright for a tip on the first occasion we ordered from them. Has anyone else had problems with tips and delivery? Hungry of Ousedale.

Ordered a takeaway for my daughter-in-law’s birthday as she cannot dine out due to seizures. It turned up late, the courier was lost and it was luke warm. The hard lumps of red chicken dyed in red food colouring were cold and hard, definitely no clay oven used here. The large lumps of boiled potato were in a cold orange sauce. It was disgusting. Her 22nd birthday was ruined. Please do not insult customers serving substandard food that you call Indian cuisine. There was zero favour and not a fresh spice in sight.

A place to be visited over and over again.I’d categorise my words of it in two parts.In the first place ,the services provided by the restaurant is out of the world ,making the customers feel it a home.Furthermore, the food taste is never forgettable.

We went to Blue India on Saturday evening as a group of four, we were greeted by friendly staff and a inviting atmosphere. The restaurant itself was busy, but not too loud, with the staff being attentive, but not overbearing, making for a pleasant evening. Our server, was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great insight. Considering the quality of food and service, we found it to be reasonable priced. The customer service was topped off when the waiter arranged for a taxi to come and collect us and provided a complementary drink whilst we waited for it to arrive. Overall, it exceeded our expectations. Everything from the ambiance of the restaurant to the dishes; every aspect of our dining experience was memorable. We would highly recommend Blue India to anyone looking for a decent curry in area. We look forward to returning soon!

Food piping hot and tasty, bread soft and perfectly cooked! Had the resala chicken - lovely and spicy and to top it off - the delivery boy is so polite

My husbands meal was really great, they’ve given us an extra poppadoms, the accompaniments were also good. The new calamari on their starters menu was at best acceptable. Looked unexciting and it tasted weird, the pastry had a hint of sweetness to it. Stay away from their Bhuna, I’ve never had this many onions served in a dish. It was essentially some nicely cooked chicken in a thick onion gravy made of (at least what seemed like) 2 or 3 onions.

Such an amazing experience. Best dinner I’ve ever had. Vic is a superstar. He looked after us from start to finish. Such a kind man. Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for such a lovely experience.

Visited this restaurant in the village where I live with friends for a meal. I am in a wheelchair and have my assistance dog with me. On arrival I was told no dogs and I explained that by the law he is allowed in any restaurant. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. They are aware of the law yet they still didn’t want me to come in with my dog. This is the second time I have had problem, trying to eat in the restaurant

Excellent food as well as service. Music light in the background and not overpowering. Plenty of people popping in to collect their takeaways. The lamb fell apart. Never experienced lambs like that in an Indian before. Will be going back very soon.

Having travelled from Yorkshire to Tunbridge Wells to deal with a family bereavement we found Blue India via Trip Advisor during our short stay in Kent. It was simply the best Indian restaurant that my wife and I have ever visited and we have visited many over the last 22 years we have been together. The staff were excellent, the choice of food was excellent, and the actual meals were outstanding. We will be returning to Kent very soon and will not miss out on another visit to this excellent restaurant.

We were hoping our local curry house had improved over the last year or two but unfortunately we were disappointed and would rather travel into Tunbridge Wells. The delivery took 2 hours and there was no communication on the delay. The chicken was dry, the portion of chicken pieces were small, the rice was bland and cold, some of the potatoes were hard and lacked flavour, the tikka masala had an unusual taste... We gave it a try but definitely won't be reordering.

Our order took 2 and a half hours to arrive, and we were given a bottle of wine by way of an apology and we don’t even drink alcohol. A refund should definitely have been issued!

Had a fantastic experience here with a group of 8 friends. Food was delicious and very fresh, menu is great! The staff are masters. Super friendly, very efficient and welcoming. Everything was perfect.

Visited resturant when down from Yorksire.The price of the main curries were ok, however the portions were quite small with little meat in. That said the curry was very good. The cost however of the sundries especially the chapatti at nearly £3 per chapatti I thought very expensive and added seriously to the bill. Parking is also difficult. On the plus side I would agree with many reviews and say that the service was brilliant and the place had a great atmosphere.

WOW! Restaurant looked amazing decorated with heart balloons and tables covered with little heart confetti, smoochy love songs playing. I was given a single red rose on arrival. Staff were welcoming and very attentive and friendly. Food was just fantastic (as always) and after a great evening the staff presented me with a box of Ferrero Rochers. I felt sooo special, Thank you for an outstanding experience!

Our food took over 2 hours. Called the restaurant and they were apologetic. When the food arrived it wasn’t very nice. Cold, watery and no flavour. Shame because I have had good curry from here before.

Really lovely welcoming staff, seeing I was struggling to choose (too many delicious options!!) the manager gave me great advice for the perfect dish, was really patient and attentive and made sure we didn’t feel rushed. The food was great and we’ll definitely be coming back.

The curry’s were really watery. There was no taste to the korma which is more expensive than the garlic chilli chicken

We moved to the area recently and have visited Blue India twice. Soooo nice . Yummy. Attentive & friendly. Service is great 👍. Food is tasty and good on portions. I'm so happy they are close by. Beautiful dishes.
