Ordered a large amount of food for 6 people. All of it was delicious! Perfect amount of spice and flavour! The Special Shaslik was 👌 I know my family will insist on Shahen next time they are in Tunbridge Wells.

That is the worst take away I have ever had ! I ordered Chicken Tikka and got a revolting tikka rice that I have just thrown away. The Sag Aloo had old potatoes that were not fresh today more like reheated from yesterday. My daughter’s tandoori prawn main has 3 prawns ! A total waste of money as it is all in the bin. Even my dog didn’t want the rice 🤦‍♀️ so a whole meal and all we ate was the Poppadoms 😟

Best curry in the area do recommend. Chicken madras was superb so was the bombay aloo.Will be ordering again.

Butter chicken was too sweet, it can pass as a dessert item. Chicken pakoda and chilli chicken had no flavour. Pretty poor overall taste wise. Would not order again for sure.

We usually love Shahen but on this occasion the food was disappointed the keema naan had near to no meat in it the cheese and garlic naan had hardly any cheese the curry’s were also cold.

The food was cold. Not very nice. And when I called to question the food, the response was rude. Would not recommend to anyone.

Great service as always. Nice flavour curry but the vindaloo wasn't spicy. Sadly was disappointed.

Lamb was like eating rubber , well over cooked ! Naga sauce was lovely , king prawn starter was nice .

Food standard was great but a little cold , meal was over an hour late but i did receive a message of apology via text and a reassurance that they were working as hard as possible to get my food out to me ASAP , was a little confusing when i called and was first told 5 min then was told it was delivered , i checked my door to see if it had been put on my doorstep and i could hear a delivery guy having a melt down walking up and down the street , when i called him over he was super apologetic lol poor guy ,

They forgot the popadum but supplied the extra chutneys i bought to go with it. When they returned later they had just the 1 I ordered. No extra. No freebie despite their mistake. If I ran the place I'd have made sure the customer got 3 minimum, this gaursnteeing good will and repeat custom. They must have enough customers already. I eont be bothering agsin. The curry sauce was inedible, 50% oil so I just picked the meat out.

For anyone reading this and seeing a sea I’d my reviews… I am reviewing 6 months worth of amazing curries in one go! It probably looks like Shahen are gaming the system, but they’re not. I’m a genuine happy customer who is too lazy to review after every order.

This is the first time we have ordered from Shahen and we were very impressed with the quality of the food. We tried Lamb Kahari, Chicken Kashmiri Rogon and a stuffed vegetable Paratha, and all were delicious. We look forward to sampling more dishes from the extensive menu.

Food was a good flavour, too much chilli in vegetable rice and sag aloo very greasy. Otherwise overall good.
