Ordered online and order was delivered at exactly the time I asked.1st time I have used this takeaway. All aspects of the meal were really good. Delicious chicken tikka masala. Food was fresh and hot. Will definitely use again and highly recommend .

Brilliant food. Reasonably priced, generous portions, extensive and interesting menu. They were friendly and helpful on the phone and the food arrived at exactly the time I ordered it for, Can’t be faulted.

Misleading advertising - there is no dine-in restaurant here, this is take-away only. Google won't allow me to edit the business, and we were looking for a sit-down meal.

Ordered a collection. Food was on time and was 5/5. Recommend! Beautiful food.

Ordered online for takeaway. Had high hopes but sadly couldn’t eat as the jalfrezi was just too darn hot. Weird aftertaste from the side dish too. Basically it all went in the bin. Never again. Will return to Junakhi as our firm favourite. Disappointing experience. Plus, the premises are quite run down too.

Second time an order has been delayed and then arrived so late that I've not been able to eat. Sent it back with the delivery driver and now out of pocket as just eat won't reimburse nor will the shop. Wouldn't go back.

They never fail to deliver a fantastic meal. They marinade everything and you can really taste it. Really enjoy ordering from here. Couldn't recommend this place enough! North Indian Garlic Chilli Chicken Tikka with Lemon Rice is my favourite.

This was my second and most definitely last attempt to find something of the quality referred to in some of the 2020 and 2021 reviews. I chose to order and collect in person rather than ordering on line or by phone. I even told the chap taking the order that I had been disappointed first time but was trying again, with a small selection of dishes, as pictured. Saag Paneer:- A few shreds of spinach lost in an atrociously sweet sauce with no visible sign of ".... studded with cubes of ... paneer..." What paneer was in there had long since vanished into the sauce. Mutter Paneer:- The peas were far from "Green ...", they were channa chickpeas or similar. Again no sign of cubes of paneer and also all swimming in a similar appallingly sweet sauce. King Prawn Pasanda:- The prawns themselves were fine, but drowned in possibly an even sweeter sea of sauce. Lamb Tikka Bhuna:- The only passable dish but far from being the relatively dry consistency as described and as normal for bhuna dishes. Both I and the family members present on this occasion are well travelled and well versed in Asian cuisines of all sorts. However adding this experience of Masala Kitchen's food to the mediocre Chicken Tandoori and far-from-fresh naan of my previous takeaway from here, I will not be ordering again.

Why have just had a takeaway from here and sadly it was the worst curry I’ve ever had and I’ve had a few! The naan was flat and totally dry, same with the bahjis. The curry’s also had very dry meat and were unusually sweet. I called to ask what had happened politely hoping for an exchange or refund but was blankly told that the food was how it should be and made me feel like I was in the wrong - very bad customer service and unfortunately terrible food! I wonder if ordering early means leftovers from the previous day? I don’t like leaving reviews but I’m sure I won’t be the only person experiencing these issues tonight - shame!

Having lived in Asia and eaten a lot of Indian food, we have been pretty disappointed with most of the takeaways we have had now back in Kent. However, Masala Kitchen is an exception with a good menu, good service and tasty food. A decent level of spice backed with good flavours, not just chilli powder. First time I used them was a large order for 18 people and all good. Just used for a 4 person order and again all good. Will certainly use again and recommend to friends.

Masala Kitchen is simply a brilliant Indian takeaway, serving thoroughly enjoyable meals, fresh, full of flavour and worth every penny. The Masala team are such a lovely bunch too, polite, friendly and helpful. Even the next-day leftovers tasted just as good as the night before!

Byriani soggy and tasteless. Tastes and looks like frozen veg is used. All dishes soggy and not worth the money. When collecting told we can get 20% discount if paying in cash. If we had been told that when ordering we would have taken cash or a card with us instead only took Apple pay. Will not use this takeaway again.

Quality and quantity. Tasty food with plenty for lunch the next day, on time and a reasonable price. Will definitely order from them again.

I tries the Masala for the first time yesterday. I wanted something different. Guy in the phone was super helpful. Ended having a chef's special not in the standard menu. The food was generous in portion sizes and the best takeaway I have had, hands down. Delivery was on time, and again delivery guy was brilliant and friendly. Have leftover in t hr e freezer di will enjoy a mid week treat. Terry the guys, tiy will not be disappointed!!

Ordered a take away on 2 separate occasions. The first was ok, food was tasty had better. On second occasion, I found my main dish inedible. The vegetarian Butter, as it appears on the menu was extremely sweet with hardly any vegetables. This was disappointing as I only order indian food as a treat. A bit of a shame really...

Just had a delivery from these guys and it was AMAZING!! Seriously recommend Masala Kitchen, you will not be disappointed 🙂🙂

We ordered from Masala kitchen this evening after a Recommendation and we weren't disappointed! The food arrived hot and in plentiful supply. The delivery driver was a delightful gentleman and the gentleman who took our telephone order was a pleasure to speak to. All in all a great experience. My husband has tried many jalfrazies over the years and said this is one of the best he's had and my korma (I'm a spice light-weight man !) was delicious. Enough rice to feed an army and superbly done naan and onion bhaji were all added bonuses! We will definitely be ordering again!

We ordered a large take away for 4. Everything was delicious. Chicken succulent, naan not overcooked. Egg fried rice had generous portions of egg. The delivery man was really friendly and pleasant. All piping hot. Thank you for a great meal!

Once again we have had a meal for our family of three, and once again we are not disappointed. I would like to thank all the staff for the hard work and commitment in providing amazing food time and time again. I would like to thank the owner for his attention to detail even during busy times.

We had a delicious Masala kitchen curry last night. My children said it was the best saag paneer ever and the chicken tikka masala with extra spice was perfect. The owners of Masala kitchen are so friendly and their curries are very tasty, and not greasy at all. Lovely homemade naan bread too.

Arrived late and cold , was not enjoyable

Food good but cold as over 1 hr late. Had to keep calling restaurant for update.

An hour and 30 mins late!!!!!!!! Bread seemed like it had been sat out for a while and reheated. Madras has a huge layer or oil on surface. Taste overall wasn’t good, being lukewarm doesn’t help

Very polite staff , food fresh and cooked to order so be prepared to wait. Good range of dishes. Slightly more pricey than a Chinese . No parking so be prepared for a walk or use thier delivery service.

Ordered expecting masala kitchen usual amazing take out - especially as it was a treat on slimming world and I’ve saved a million syns! What a bloomin waste of syns that was! First of all the guy who took the order didn’t have a clue what was on the menu and then ask me how much the dishes cost?! I asked whether there was the usual 20% discount for collecting - he said yes but when collecting decided that the discount was for cash only not card payments (no problem there’s a cash machine over the road).The food..... well I ordered a Mumbai special which is usually keema meat rolled into meatballs in a garlic type tomato based gravy. No no no the meatballs I swear we’re Swedish meatballs not the usual bright red keema meat and the gravy had almost no strong flavours to it at all. We also had a korma - usually a nice deep home made type colour with generous sized chicken pieces. No no no no bright fake type yellow sauce and barely any meat to be seen. Saag paneer was actually Ok as was naan breads but the pilau rice wasn’t the Decent pilau from before but more white plain with some coloured bits thrown in. My daughters popcorn murgh now spicy hot fried chicken - blew her little head off. To top it all off it’s served not in the silver large tins it used to be but now in smaller Chinese plastic boxes meaning there is approx 1/2 less than the dishes used to be. I lived in the midlands - the masala kitchen was the closest to home made Indian I’d had down south - now it’s mass produced naffness like the majority of Indian restaurants. What an absolute disappointment. Come back previous owners!!!

First time I've had to add salt to a curry. Tasteless! Also they gave us Naan instead of Chapati even though we said we couldn't eat it if it had egg in it. Won't be ordering again here. Disappointing.

Food is not bad, ordered the takeaway and decided to pay cash, but he has no change. end up paying 4 pounds extra for nothing. would be a 4 stars if that didn't happen.

Tasty chicken rezala chicken - definitely recommend that. Excellent Mushroom biryani and saag bhaji. Would have liked some dips with the poppadoms. The vegetable Korahi was a little bland and sweet. All round, a good curry experience.

Utterly useless. Food was over and hour late and stone cold. No offer of refund or compensation. Don’t bother.

Masala did not include all of our order. We rung immediately, it took an hour and a second phone call for them to bring it and by that time we’d finished the rest of the meal. Very apologetic but the rest of the meal wasn’t that impressive. Paneer saag aloo very sweet mango chutney a luminous orange. Tikka was nice, best part was the naan

The food is always great, portion sizes seem to be getting smaller and smaller though which is putting us off ordering. Only half filled Tupperware boxes in our last order!!

Ordered through just eat, butter chicken looked liked baby food, only flavour I could taste was sugar. Could not eat, disgusting! Poppadums not cooked, paratha not cooked. Onion bargi’s soggy with oil. Apparently because we ordered through just eat, Masala have no responsibility, even though they cooked the food. Asked if delivery driver could come back and pick it up, possibly replace it. Computer said ‘No’ as ordered through just eat. Shame as good customer care would have helped!

Had a takeaway from the Masala kitchen last night for the first time,As we were having trouble finding a nice take away curry in Tonbridge, I must say the food was delicious Lovely flavour nice and hot considering coming all the way from Southborough! Reasonable prices and the staff pleasant over the phone, so I can now say we have found a curry house to suit us win win all round. Thank you

We used to go regularly and it is worth trying. Parking is a nightmare but there is delivery available.

Food was bland, cold, the texture of the sauce was awful. Bits of other material found in the food which my children pulled from their mouth.I’ve never experienced anything like it,,called the owner to explain what I found. He turned out to be a complete Moran!!!Absolute disgrace, should be shut down!!!

Order from here yesterday night whilst at a mates house. The food turn up cold and slightly stodgy. I ordered a lamb Rogan josh which was basically two chunks of lamb with a ladle of tomatoey grease. My friend had a Korma which he had to heat up in the microwave as he has had hotter ice cream. Don't go here save your money you will have a better meal if you went to Tesco and got a ready meal

Very annoying ! I ordered food and it never showed up and I nearly starved all night ..only to call back and no response.. Never order from them if it's past 10pm..forget them ,try somewhere else.

So I tried it, and I found the food arrived very quickly, was hot but was very bland. I had a Vindaloo that had the spiciness and heat of cottage pie. I haven't found the need to go back as there is another curry house just down the road which does better takeaways and is a good sit down restaurant. Am I being unfair? Yes probably so I ought perhaps give them a second chance and make a return visit.

Best Indian delivery in Tunbridge Wells. Food is always delicious and their friendly service sets them above others. Cinnamon Makani was a bit of a wild card but is truly amazing and more than worth a try.

having given my takeaway order on the phone for 6 people, and had it confirmed back by the restaurant, it was really disappointing to get home with the food to find a main course was missing. So one person had to wait over half an hour for their curry to arrive by which time the rest of the group had finished eating. Food OK, nothing special. Won't be going there again.

Our first order from Masala. It was ok, nothing out of this world. Mushroom rice was fairly bland, Ceylon curry was nice enough but the paneer was a bit lacking seeing as it was the main ingredient. My husband had the tandoori chicken which he seemed to enjoy. It was ok but our search for a great Indian in T Wells continues.

Very poor food the meat in the portions was non existent both main dishes tasted the same but was meant to be very different . Won't be ordering from here again u are better ordering from just spice . Very disapointed to say the least

Order was very late and the order was missing 4 popadoms . We called when the food was 15 mins late and were told it was on the way (10mins away), it wasn't. It arrive 30 minutes after the call. We will not be using Just Eat or Masala kitchen again. Shocking service.!!!!

After ordering the timing of delivery was extended to be a 90 minute wait. I have to say though, the great food made up for the wait and was also piping hot when it arrived and from a friendly driver. I will give them benefit of the doubt and presume 90mins was solely because they are so popular and I can see why!

This place has rats, the owner knows and claims it's OK because they've been around for ages due to them liking the food & spices thrown down the drain & bin! Vile!

Onion Bhaji were nice and came with a small pot of onion salad and green mint sauce. I love the Cinnamon Makhani, Chicken Tikka. A good amount of sauce and chicken in both curries. Chilli rice container wasn't full but the Keema rice was. I didn't think the Chilli Cheese Naan tasted of either. I would order from here again as they offer a few unique curries I've not seen before.

First time ordering from this restaurant. The delivery was quicker than quoted and the quality of the food better than expected. We'd definitely order from this place again.

Got the order wrong, ordered a peshwari naan and got a plain one. Asked for a hot madras and it just had vindaloo sauce added to it, very oily and not appealing.

Best Indian Takeaway in Southborough, if not Tunbridge Wells. Friendly manager, goes out his way to help, and the food is fantastic. Good on you guys.

I have used this Indian take away about 6/7 times now and the food is amazing. I can recommend paying a little more for your side dishs as they put it in those massive silver trays.

Having been loyal customers for quite some time now, we were very disappointed with our meal today. The food arrived 30 minutes late after their quoted delivery time (which was already adjusted) without any explanation why or warning from the shop. Likewise, when we rang twenty-five minutes after our order should have arrived, the person on the phone seemed most disinterested in our order and less than helpful. Furthermore, parts of our order were missing, like naan bread, but the shop didn't notice or call us to apologise, and having spoken to a disinterested member of staff earlier, there was no way we were going to phone back and complain. Previously we've had great food from Masala Kitchen without any issues, just top quality meals, so this feels like a massive let down tonight.
