The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Absolutamente horrible. Pedí que me cocinaran sin aceite y todos los platos estaban absolutamente nadando en él. Incluso el arroz. El marido tenía pollo tandoori y el suyo estaba en un tazón lleno de aceite también. El servicio era pobre. Lo planteé con el hombre a cargo y aunque había tomado la orden, se encogió de hombros y dijo que cocinaban con aceite. Deberían haber dicho eso en lugar de aceptar cocinar sin aceite.

Always great for an evening out - superb food, great service!

Take-away was very disappointing. We found the onion bhajis very dry and ended up chopping up our own onions and using our own mango chutney. For some reason the onions that came with the dips were not plain but mixed in the same weak chutney sauce as the second dip. No sign of chutney pieces but I think that is not unusual nowadays. The king prawns in the dupiaza were rubbery and the mushroom pilau rice was not of the dry consistency we had expected, but wet in a hot tasting curry sauce. The Shimi kebab starter was the only saving grace. Real shame as last time we ate in the restaurant and the meal was lovely.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. First of all, the food was an hour late, which was frustrating. When the food finally arrived, I was shocked to find that the chicken was raw, which is unacceptable. Additionally, the flavors were completely off, and it didn't even resemble what we had ordered. Overall, I was very dissatisfied with the service and the quality of the food. I definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a good dining experience.

Ordered a takeaway whilst staying at Lady Margaret's Caravan and Motorhome site Chirk. Straight forward online ordering with skip loads of choice. Super fast delivery and absolutely amazing food. Large portions bursting with Chicken and tons of flavour. Well done guys one of the best takeaways we have had in an age.

I arrived last night in a wheelchair and nico or t opened the restaurant door to let me in. When I was in the restaurant the staff had a table set up for me thank you very much. Also all the staff there really looked after me I had a lovely meal too. When I finished my meal the staff let me sit by the bar while I was waiting for my taxi. Thanks very much

Not as good as the last time we were in Brixham sadly. We were staying up at Hillhead (campsite) so ordered a takeaway for delivery. Friendly staff taking orders and said it would be within the hour, and that the delivery girl would call when leaving the restaurant - which she did. It was only 25-30 minutes so we were pleased with the service. However, on checking the bag when returning to our camper there was no veg curry with the biryani??? Absolutely no point in calling to complain as the rest of the food would've been cold by the time they'd delivered the missing dish. We had ordered a veg balti, as an extra dish, so it wasn't the end of the world, just disappointing that we were 'short changed'. The food was hot and tasty but not sure we would use again?

Staff outing. We enjoyed a wonderful supper, great food, dishes all arrived together and fantastic value with their ‘Banqueting Night’ menu super deal. Highly recommended.

My wife,step daughter, grand daughter and myself booked our Christmas Dinner at the Raj.We have been here a few times for a curry so decided to try the Christmas lunch.On arrival we where warmly greeted by Ozzy who showed us to our table.The restaurant was busy and full of festive cheer.I chose the curry meal (you are given several options)and the rest of the family opted for the traditional Christmas Dinner.I can honestly say everything was perfect,the food ,service and atmosphere was spot on.We will definitely book again for our Christmas Lunch.
