Came to visit tonight to celebrate our late Mum’s 80th. Service as always was outstanding, food was great and our waiter was extremely friendly and polite.

Food is great quality and for a good price

This is the go to place for your Friday night take Away. Good tasting food, portions are large. Always hot! And on time. No complaints only praise for this place. Can’t wait for Fridays.

Mixed biriyani was delicious with the vegetable curry. Would have again, thank you!

Order over £50 worth of food delivered to wrong address we Received food about 40minutes late stone cold and all they could say is when you come in restaurant we give you free starters wot a joke never going to restaurant again or order food again absolutely disgusting

Food was delivered late and was cold. the raita was not nice. Popodams lacked flavour.

Mum especially has been ordering curry’s from all over for many years. She actually just said to me that she thinks this is the best she’s had, mine was so good also. Very impressed thank you

Don’t often have a takeaway but always use New Rupali when we do and they never disappoint. Excellent food, delivered promptly, fresh and really hot. Last night was particularly delicious, chicken in both curries was very tender and tasty. Spot on!

the Bhuna special was delicious

Collected my order perfectly on time and it stayed nice and hot for the journey back home. Food was fantastic and extremely well priced, and the staff there were very kind and friendly. I'll definitely be coming back for more!

Absolutely disgusting meal, the sheek kebab just fell apart no meat substance at all! The chicken was rubbery. Only sent one vindaloo and I ordered two. The chicken pakora was hard and the batter was sloppy. Popadoms were stale. Just awful.

We ordered and estimated delivery was 7.50 pm - 8.10 pm and I called restaurant twice to find out where the food was and it wasn’t delivered until 9.10 pm which was extremely late to eat.

Best tasting food we've had for a while

Cold rice, cold naan, cold bhajis, lamb vindaloo full of gristle and my husband left his and had cheese and crackers. Complete waste of money

It was never delivered, I had to collect as it was sat in the kitchen but was told after waiting 2 hours it was out for delivery. I had no refund of delivery fee and no apologies. Totally disgusting as food was cold!

Everything nice, just a shame the chuckney trays are no longer fresh . Mango chutney is shop brought.

The website said my food was delivered but in fact wasn’t, turned up 30 plus mins later and all food was barely warm if not cold.

Said it was delivered at 5.30pm. Rang the place and he couldn’t understand what we were saying, unfortunately a language barrier. Our food arrived 45 minuets later after saying it had been delivered. It’s all cold. Not happy. Won’t be coming back.

Food was amazing, the lamb Bhuna was one of the best I’ve had. Will be going here again! For how first experiences go, this was 10/10.

Had many meals from different restaurants across Bristol this one deserves ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ what an experience the food was piping hot. Each individual order in the bag tasted outstanding and the meats so soft tender and carefully cooked. Full of flavour nicely spiced. And not a shred of grease could be found. Cooked to perfection. I'll be staying with the new Rupali from now on great chef great restaurant. Great staff. Quick speedy delivery 👍

Food was due between 7.20 & 7.40 Called the restaurant at 7.50 to ask for an update and was told delivery had left and he refused to find out where food was It arrived at 8 & was cold

Great flavours and the lamb and chicken were cooked really well. Lamb fell apart and the chicken was really juicy. Would definitely recommend.

Brilliant food again but arrived An hour early and difficult conversation with the delivery person but will order again.

Awful customer service. When food was 10 minutes late I called and asked for a delivery time, I was told 5-10 minutes. 15 minutes later I called again and they told me that the van had broken down and deliveries are slow. Valid reason but I did ask why I wasn’t informed our food would be late they didn’t respond. So I asked for another delivery time to which they told me the delivery driver was still with them and couldn’t give me an estimated delivery time and they hung the phone up on me. Food arrived nearly an hour late and the deliver driver had a go at me because my neighbour told him where to deliver the food instead of calling me. My number was included in customer information and in the delivery information. There was no cheese in the sag paneer. Food overall was okay but not worth an overall (order to delivery) 2 hour wait. Would never order again

Good quality, tasty food and decent portion sizes, delivered hot, though 15 minutes earlier than requested.

We’ve ordered from here am fair few times now and time and time again it’s lovely. Very tasty, good portion sizes, always hot on arrival, good prices and all round good Indian. Highly highly recommend. We tried a few in the area and this has to be our favourite. Well done 🙌🏼

An hour late, food cold and had to be re heated, phoned to ask where food was and staff was very rude. Avoid.

By far the best curry house in Bristol. Perfect every time.

Eaten in and had delivery. Delivery is always quite lengthy, I suppose they like to accumulate a few orders so to hopefully deliver in the same area, being that the area covered is small, it shouldn’t be a problem. To dine in. They do need some heating on in there, can be chilly. Generally the waiters are very good, if you say about any allergies, intolerances and/or dietary restrictions, they will assist with the menu and say what is not ideal.

Chicken tikka dhansak was like vindaloo ! I couldn’t eat it

Order took 2 hours to arrive. When it arrived curry was exploded in the bag, rang the restaurant he told me he would give a free one next time I said and eat nothing tonight? He then told me a hour wait for replacement after waiting 2 hours already!!

Ordered take out online. Food was very good and superb value for money. I was pinged saying that food was ready to collect....it was not. A miscommunication between online portal and restaurant....need to get that sorted.

Order was lost and never turned up!! Phoned numerous times and told with delivery driver. Won’t be using this restaurant again

Great food, but would of been nice to know it would be 45 minutes later than the estimated time.

Already had prior issues with missing items but the food was ok so stuck with them...worst mistake, ordered food at 18:30 and had to phone restaurant at 20:30 (politely) for an eta to be greeted by a rude “your orders ready give me 20 minutes “ and a hang up. Needless to say I rang back and cancelled the order...never again....DO NOT USE THIS RESTAURANT!!!!

We ordered a fish tikka main course on line and were delivered a starter so not great!

Text message at 5.55pm to say on its way , arrived at 7.05 after ringing restaurant twice both saying it’s out for delivery, arrived cold. 😡

Have a meal from here most Fridays delicious food Good size portions and nice fresh salad.

Our food was an hour late from when it said out for delivery It was cold by the time we had it Rang to see where our delivery was and they said it’s on its way, but still didn’t arrive for another 15 mins 2nd time our food was late Won’t be ordering again I’m sorry to say Shame because the food is tasty

The food was great, tasted fresh and full of flavour, but the delivery time was poor. I requested delivery for 7.30, the app said it was estimated for 08.00 which was understandable as they might have been busy but to our surprise the food arrived at 7.00 meaning our food was cold by the time we were ready to eat.

Absolutely lush! Best curry we’ve had in a while. Had butter chicken and was beautiful. Partner had lamb madras and it was perfect. Defo going to be a go to curry from now on

Booked a table online a while ago. Got to restaurant, lots of free tables but they seated us right next to the kitchen and toilets, not the best ambience like. We asked if we could be moved to one of the many free tables in front of restaurant but they said we couldn't so we left and went to Eastern Spice instead and had a lovely meal there.

I have been coming here for many years at various times even before renovation and for me have always found to have good Quality tasty food

only complaint was coke instead of diet coke, the meal was superb!

The curries themselves were bland, flavourless and FULL of grease/oil. The side were ok

Unfortunately one item was missing. When I rang they told me that it had been put there and to check the bag again. I explained that it was definitely not there. They told me I should not have let the driver leave without checking everything which I have never had to do before. I was told that they’d replace it “this time”. Food was good when it arrived

Ridiculous. Over an hour late and one of the curries was wrong.

Unfortunately the chips were very overcooked. Whole order was quite cold. Not usual quality .

Food was late and cold when arrived, chips were hard . Once warmed up was ok

Not reliable, ordered with them twice and with both of the separate orders (different days) they had missing items. You would have thought despite them being told they had missing items prior that they would be vigilant about not doing it again. They don’t apologise or take accountability.

Food finally arrived 2 hours after we ordered. Missing a naan but no answer on phone from restaurant, so asked for a refund from justeat which was quickly processed. That aside, the food was delicious, i'll order again, just not on a Saturday night!
