ordered a takeaway as they get very busy with delivery the food was amazing the coconut rice with mild prawn jalfrezy or byriane is lush 🙌🏻

The food is awful. The meat is chewy and tastes like it's been microwaved. It was bland food absolutely no flavour. No sauce in the Curry, the vegetables were hard and huge. Skinny refried and cold chips that were actually fries not chips. I'm not sure if the food is cooked by authentic Indian people or just people who have a recipe book but I won't be ordering ever again nor going there. I don't want any freebies or refunds I simply just would never buy again.

I have had take aways delivered and collected, and eating in the restaurant. Every time it has been delicious. Friendly service and delicious hot food, definitely our favourite takeaway! Bombay potatoes are a must

Ordered a delivery at 18.50 for 19.30 delivery, at 20.10 I called to asked how long it was going to be and was told they were sending it now. At 20.50 the delivery driver called to say she was just leaving and did I still want the order. I figured that if the food had been cooked at seven o'clock and wasn't going to get to me till after nine then it wasn't going to be worth having so cancelled the order.

Worst curry ever. Waited for 2hr.25mins to receive stone cold food. Nan bread under cooked. I must say had a free can of coke for the inconvenience however that was warmer than the food. Frankly shocking

This was a disappointing affair. This was some of the worst Indian food I have had. Granted this was Bangladeshi and not Indian restaurant for for an Indian pallet this was disappointment. The service did nothing to elevated the experience. The food was served with a great delay and then served in reverse. I had never been served Naan first, currys and Popadoms last. All in all an evening ruined. I did not even bother to take photos it was just a mess.

Not really sure why (and how) people going gaga over this place. This is the worst ever Indian I have tasted. Service was poor, lousy at times. Dishes were poorly cooked and sweet in all types. All curries were sweet! The veg curry wasn't cooked at all. Very very disappointing service.

I ordered a curry, rice and naan. Didn’t leave a spec at the end. Honestly one of the best curry’s I’ve had in a very long time. Very nice inside and very hygienic. Portion sizes are perfect and not too expensive either

One of the worst curry I've eat..

The worst “Indian” food I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating. Not authentic Indian food at all and the meat in the keema naan wasn't even completely cooked. Good ambience and decent service but people go to restaurants for good food and if that fails, everything else just fades into the background. The whole experience was disappointing and I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

I’m really lucky that I live in London and have many great curry houses to choose from in my area, but I can honestly say the food at Milford Curry House is just as good and if not better. Also a 5 star hygiene rating is amazing and shows how serious these guys are. I’ve been several times now and will visit every time I’m back home and each dish I’ve tried from the extensive menu is delicious. The other way to tell it’s a great curry is the food is never swimming in oil when it arrives. Really impressed with this place, well done to the team.

A lovely bright and clean restaurant. Very friendly, cheerful and helpful front of house. The food was absolutely lovely. Each dish tasted as it should. Lovely flavour profiles in each dish. You could taste individual aromatics and punchier flavours. The chicken was soft and succulent. Everything was hot. Including the plates and serving dishes. Sunday night is the great value meal deal night. I highly recommend this hidden local gem. Milford Curry House stands out from the rest...

A year ago I left the 5 *Review, below, but how things have changed... A couple of days ago (9th April 2024) I ordered a Prawn Puri, a Lamb Biryani and Keema Naan. The Puri was fine but the Lamb Biryani had virtually NO lamb at all and was tasteless, as was the accompanying sauce... completely flavourless and boring! I phoned them today to let them know, rather than leaving a negative review, but they really were not interested! A real shame because, at first when they took over from the previous owners the food was brilliant. Sadly won't be going back. PREVIOUS REVIEW FROM A YEAR AGO: Wow! I was surprised and pleased to see this place had changed from Essence of India to the new owners. Food was always OK, but never amazing and the previous owners were always arguing! My fist time sence the change and WOW, what a difference! Fantastic, one of the best Indian meals we've had, and we've had quite a few!

I was really apprehensive about trying this place due to previous reviews mentioning flies and poor service. We arrived without a booking and were made to feel welcome and offered a drink. The service throughout was good, food excellent, tasty and plentiful. And an added bonus of no flies in sight! Overall a good experience. Would definitely recommend.

I don’t often review places, but this was one of the best Indian curry’s I’ve had for a real long time. Such succulent meat, delish spice blend and sauces and the naan was fluffy and melt in the mouth. The restaurant looks warm and inviting, the staff was lovely and professional, all greeting me with a wide smile, which is always lovely on arrival. It’s a must visit if you enjoy delicious Indian food that isn’t over priced. Portions are generous and I couldn’t ask for more overall. Thank you Milford Curry House, I will definitely be back again next weekend and recommending to all I know! 🙏🏻

If you’re British we have all been out for Curry. But this has to be the worse restaurant, I have been to. 40 minute to get starters. Spring rolls had been microwave. When to main course came after 50 minute wait. (Other table had been waiting that long too). The food was empty of taste. Will never go back.

We were initially a bit anxious, as we were the first ones in. But needn’t have worried, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and despite having the place to ourselves, felt comfortable and relaxed. We will be coming here regularly.

1st: No music. 2nd: Very very slow service took 1hour 10 mins to get food. Wont be rushing back!! When we did get food it was lovely.

Chicken tikka rezala to die for, so tasty, had keema rice chips and a chicken tikka nan bread to go with it. Mrs had delight but wasn't the delight she thought it would be. Lovely decor inside and friendly staff. Would definitely go again if I ever visit Milford again.

First time ordering from here as a familly. I Placed a large order, and when it arrived one of the mains was missing. I rang up the restaurant who immediately blamed me for the mix up. They insisted that, because I hadn't been charged for the meal, I couldn't have possibly ordered it. I said I didn't mind paying for the meal, and reiterated that I was certain I had placed my order correctly because I had written a list to make sure I didn't miss anything off. The restaurant offered to make the missing dish but said I would have to collect it myself (despite me already paying for delivery and tipping the driver). When I got to the restaurant a gentleman came out and started pointing to a reciept in his hand saying "see I didn't charge you for the item" again insisting I was at fault. Again I reminded him "I don't mind paying". As a tip to the resturant, its not good to insist the customer has made a mistake, especially when you cannot be 100% sure it wasn't your mistake. Its also not good to imply they are just trying to get something for free, especially when they have said they are happy to pay the extra. FINALLY and most importantly, It is entirely possible to acknowledge the customer's inconvenience, without admitting you're at fault. All anyone needed to say was "sorry for the mix up" or "sorry about that". Politeness costs absolutely nothing and goes such a long way. The quality of the food was definetely not worth the rudeness. Potential for 10 new regular customers, instead we will not be going here again.

Eating here a year later I am disappointed. Smells like damp and a sewer. Staff are rude at times and blame us getting an order wrong and still get us to pay for an extra rice at the table rather than taking it back. Very different a year later when we so happy a year before. Won’t eat in again.

Went for the first time last, beautiful food, excellent service. Friendly staff who couldn’t have been more helpful- one of the best bhuna’s I’ve had will definitely be back for another visit- thank you for a lovely meal.

would never return. Started off ok, took our drinks & food order. as we starting eating - THE 🪰 FRUIT FLIES. I have never experienced anything like it. flys landing in our food, constantly trying to kill the flys whilst eating our food was a massive put off. I asked the manager could we move tables - due to the flys- and he said they would just follow. So I said you seriously need to sort this problem, as I think it’s disgusting. He said they would follow as they like the popadoms & I had perfume on. They have little pots of brown liquid in each corner but personally I think they attract the flies more! the manager didn’t even apologise or give us discount on the meal! That the flys had landed in! Absolutely vile. I have never been to Indian before with fruit flys because they like popadoms. Clearly have an issue. manager very rude to staff & customers.

Shocking the way I was just spoke to I have used these since I moved to milford an love the food some beast just shouted down phone at me demanded I had my order wron bearing in mind I have only ever ordered same thing from them pila rice tikka massa chips an poppadoms they sent me green rice with bits it seems like beef so I called an he shouted at me thst I don't know what I ordered it was me who got my order wrong an asked for kima rice never i didnt no there was such a thing but yea 17£ take away fro wrong rice an to go through that don't fancy that again 😅 always been beautiful service before so wanted management aware

Really enjoyed my time here all the staff are amazing especially our waitress couldn't have asked more ! Food was brilliant and cooked to perfection just the way we asked and the atmosphere was really nice and carming you didn't want to leave! I will be returning!!

I bought a curry for myself with pilau rice and chips, to start the man who brought the food to my door was absolutely lovely. Could not fault him one bit. Then I went on to opening my food. I ordered chicken tikka masala curry. It turned up with just chicken in a box. Still went on and thought I’ll just have the chicken and rice. The rice had 3 black hairs in it and were about 3 inches long! Not satisfied at all! Then tried the chips and they were stone cold. Wont be eating here again.

We ate here Oct 2023 and it was a really nice curry, well priced, quick n friendly service and very reasonably priced.

Lovely restaurant right in the centre of Milford Haven. Attentive staff, gorgeous food. All in all a top class curry house.

A local recommended The Milford Curry House to us and she was spot on. Booked a table for our two families after film in The Torch. The variety on the menu was excellent with lots of special dishes. Can defo recommend the Chicken Makhani. Tasted beautifully fresh & light. Everyone enjoyed their meals but the absolute highlight was the service we received from Ahmed and his colleague. Wonderfully chatty, and extremely attentive. Thank you for a thoroughly enjoyable dining experience. Will definitely return when we are next at The Torch.

We enjoyed some accidentally vegan options here. We enjoyed the garlic rice, tarka dahl, saag aloo with no dairy, chips and poppadoms with mango chutney.

£53 takeaway between four of us Saturday gone, 55 minutes to turn up, food was tasty enough but cold. Chips were completely stone cold. Not good enough.

We were looking for something to eat on Sunday evening - after 7:30 p.m. you usually don't have a chance here in the region. Our salvation came with this curry house. We easily ordered takeaway online at 9 p.m. The waiting time was 30 minutes. Parking wasn't a problem. At 9:30 p.m. we were able to pick up the food (1* chicken curry, 1* vegetarian as well as 1* rice and 1* naan < 22 pounds) and it was very, very tasty. As described in the brochure, also regarding the sharpness. A very friendly employee immediately handed us our order. Payment with credit card is very possible. There were also a few people sitting in the restaurant, it looked cozy. Thank you for this great experience.

Chaos. We waited 1.5 hrs at our table after being told our food was 5 minutes away three times. Nothing arrived so we left.

Went there a few weeks ago with my family. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. I had the mixed grill to start, I have never had one that tasted this good the chicken tikka was so moist and tasty, as was the kofta and lamb tikka. We ordered 3 different curries and all were outstanding. They now offer alcohol too. This is the best Indian food I have had in Pembrokeshire. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic night out for my partners Birthday there was six of us and everyone enjoyed there meals, the onion bhaji starter was a meal on its own all in all a fantastic night great food and our young waitress couldn't do enough for us we will be back for our Xmas bash. Out from Australia and doing a bit of a UK Indian restaurant tour de force along the way on our travels. A great night out with awesome food and good service too, Essence of India prepared one of the best Lamb Rogans and Handi dishes we've tasted anywhere. Food was well prepared and presented. Staff were friendly. Thank you for a great experience.

Terrible delivery messed up Order no apology and waited over 2half hours for rest of order still waiting never again

What a surprise this was. Beautifully prepared food. It took quite a while to get to us but it was well worth it. The menu offered a very wide and varied range of dishes as well as the well know ones. Be aware though the servings are large making it all excellent value for money. A point to remember, no alcohol can be bought but you can bring your own and they will give you a glass. Give it a go I really enjoyed the food.

This place is amazing, they do not serve alcohol so quick nip to the nearby shop and we have a bottle of wine, no problem, lady was happy to supply glasses and corkscrew

This is my first takeaway from here and it is by far the best Indian iv ever had, the flavours were incredible and service was awesome. Keep it up hopefully this is by far my favourite takeaway from now on.
