The best restaurants in United Kingdom serving Indian food

Great Indian food. We had the buffet selection as the main but with plenty of side dishes delivered to the table before. The mains included some great options that are not the usual standard fare.

Only popped in to pick up an order, but was very impressed. The service was fast, efficient and very professional. We are planning to have a meal in the restaurant next time. Very well recommended.

Service was awful to be honest young lad who served us had no manners, food wasn’t the worst but nothing special. Definetly wouldn’t go back

A nice place to visit! The Food was great and the atmosphere too. There is a small parking available, but I doubt you will find a space if it’s busy. I will definitely go back again.

We had visited Cafe Kisimul some 6 years ago when walking Hebridean Way and were really looking forward to taking our respective wives there. I'm sure they thought we were exaggerating that there was a really good "Indian" restaurant on Barra. Neither we, nor they, were disappointed. However if you want to try the place for yourselves yo may have to wait until Spring 2025 as I believe they close for the winter season. Friendly staff, busy so reservation recommended. Probably essential

Absolutely unreal food. My partner and I went on Friday night. The staff were amazing and so friendly; nothing was a problem for them, from topping up drinks to getting extra plates. These guys are the best. Reasonably priced, so it's an all-around great place to go.

Always love the food from here the best around however my cheese naan had no cheese today :(

We were introduced to this restaurant by our daughter and what a great recommendation. We were warmly welcomed by the staff at front of house who were very engaging. The food was absolutely first class and service remained efficient and friendly throughout. Well worth a visit!
