Chilli Tree in Havering

It was my Grandson’s 20th Birthday yesterday and choose the Chilli Tree to celebrate. We had an amazing experience, could not fault a single thing. Friendly staff. Food was so so good . Service was Perfect. Memories were made last night, we will be back soon. Thank 🙏 You ♥️

The food was lovely when it finally arrived. Called the restaurant & the fella on the phone was helpful. The delivery driver was apologetic so no worries. As I said the food was good.

The wife and i have eaten here on numerous occasions , and it has never disappointed us, take your own alcohol, food very good as always , i believe they have a low hygiene rating , but for me the proof is in the eating , never has any of us ben ill after eating at the Chilli tree , always busy with regular customers. exceptional value for money

Waited half hour just to order food, wasn’t asked if we wanted a drink. Was only after they brought poppadams over that we were told they don’t serve alchohol. Staff were inattentive and couldn’t really be bothered. Power cut half way through the meal and listening to the staff argue over who caused it just topped it off really

Great indian with good food but lacking in atmosphere, would still recommend trying here

The tandoori chicken was way too burned on the edges to eat. The taste was exceedingly tangy and chicken was bit dry. Hot tandoori chicken was packed in plastic boxes rather than foil boxes.

The worst meal a have eaten did not finish payed 40 pounds stafe rude by the way i am a chef left went next door and had fish and chips

Great varied menu. First time ordering and I cant fault it! Chicken tender and sauce hot with the right amount of spice and it was piping hot. Only thing is that the Aloo Gobi needs more cauliflower because it was all potato and that was slightly disappointing.

Delivery earlier than expected but was ok. Ordered from here many times, great food. However this time onion bhajis were totally disgusting, we couldn't eat them. Just hoping this was a 1 off, new chef or something as usually the onion bhajis are lovely.

Another great meal from Chilli Tree, prices so good and excellent quality. Emad and his staff are so friendly and helpful. Bring your own alcohol, but please buy your soft drinks from the restaurant. Give it a go...

Ordered it two before delivery and when it arrived half was missing

Food was average at best. The sauce in my lamb kashmiri was bland and watery, the rice tasted like it came from a microwave packet and the shami kebab was a cheap burger with some spice thrown on it. Only good part was the lamb in the main dish was good. Sorry but will not be using them again.

Never had a bad meal out of here eat in once and meny takeaways. Only left 4 stars because of the following. ..But why has nobody mentioned there carpet. It absolutely filthy you stick too it when you walk on it!! It's been like this for years ...come on chilli tree replace it now!! It's the only thing that's letting you down. I will not come and eat in with my family because of this.

This is the second time I have ordered from Chilli Tree! Staff lovely, very helpful and cannot fault food, at all. Very reasonably priced & I highly recommend.

Order came 20 mins early which was a lovely surprise. Food was lovely, the tandoori chicken and lamb chips never fail with flavour but i ordered a dansak which I never order and now i know why? The Lamb was tough and the flavour was boring. Food always arrives hot. Ordered too much as usual so there's plenty for tonight's dinner too

I rarely write bad reviews and was reluctant to write one for the Chilli Tree because I’ve been ordering from them since they opened. I placed the order around 6:30pm, it eventually arrived at 8:20pm. The delivery driver then argued with me that I only placed my order 35 minutes before delivery. He then assured me all of the food was hot. The majority of the food was cold, the rest was lukewarm, including the salad. The main dish was not what I ordered and much hotter. After paying £30 for this food and the response I received after justifiably complaining I will not be ordering from here again.

Chicken tikka jalfrezi, excellent, good amount of green peppers, tomatoes, onions, and green chillies, chicken flavoursome. Chicken tikka masala , nice , very almondy Pilau rice - great, very aromatic Onion bhaji - slightly dry Bombay potato - cooked well , slightly dull Recommendations Larger chicken piece And complimentary poppadoms Overall rating 80 / 100 - Would recommend

i order this for my elderly parents as i live in Bournemouth. the food is always delivered at specified time by a friendly driver. and the food is always top notch and piping hot. 10 out of 10 everytime.

Main food was good But got a started prawn cocktail Prawns was frozen and the sauce treated gone off I did call them they said sorry I contact justeat got to wait for refund as the restaurant can’t do it It went straight into the bin

Wasn’t feeling great and ordered for a Friday night pick me up. Food arrived early and was very hot. Restaurant left out my garlic naan but delivered when I contacted them. Food was delicious will definitely recommend and order again

Phoned restaurant 4 times .what a waste of time. Got ya money couldn't care less. Eventually turned up 1hour 45 minutes from oreder. Even said with driver for delivery. 50 minutes to get here 1.3 miles away. Very poor customer service.

The butter chicken was too sweet The chicken was dry as well I loved the nan bread

Wasn't very impressed to be honest, not a lot of taste, korma looked like it had split, all swimming in oil. Sides as big as the main if not bigger especially the tikka. Very disappointed!!

Whilst the food is really nice, the onion bhajis were undercooked and doughy in the middle. This wasn't the first time either, they come like this all the time. Please cook them longer 🙏

Usually the food is great from here but specifically on 08/03/22, the chef was not up to par, chicken tasted microwaved and very tough. Again, usually the food is great but they need to know whether a new chef is terrible as it will only hurt business.

Food quality was good. Food was not too salty, oily or over seasoned but yet tasted authentic and good. However was disappointed because we paid for a large portion of chicken tikka for £7.25 but got the starter portion instead.

Really good. My first time ordering from here and only because my usual place was closed, and I’m glad I did. The food was probably the best I’ve had locally and the portion size was bigger than my usual place. Food was delivered promptly too. Thank you!
