My friend and I wanted to visit a nice indian restaurant for a meal and catch up. The reviews were positive. Booked a table. We were promptly seated upon arrival. Service was very good, atmosphere was nice. The selection available is great. I asked for naga hot as a personal preference and it was amazing. The food overall was tasty and as authentic as you can get in a restaurant. Portions are plentiful, service was impeccable, staff attentive. We did a takeout a week later and the food was excellent too. Highly highly recommend! Onsite free parking too!

My partner and I walk past this restaurant on our walk home from work every week and always comment on how lovely the food smells as you pass by. So tonight we decided we should actually go in and see if it tastes as good as it smells….spoiler alert…IT DOES! The food was genuinely perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful too. I have no complaints whatsoever and will definitely return to this fabulous establishment again

Love this curry house. We have never had bad food from here. Even the mild dishes are full of flavour and not bland. The staff are friendly and helpful, they give good recommendations. Would definitely recommend!

Wie alle Jahre beim Londontrip 2x zum Bekash, nach wie vor eine große Empfehlung, nettes Lokal, sehr freundliches Service, tolles Essen, vernünftige Preise - für 3 Personen ca. 90,- Pfund. Wir hatten Bombay sizzling tava, Dhaka chicken, Shaslik chicken mossala, Veg. Curry, Boiled Rice, Garlic nan, Sag Rice, 1 Flasche Rotwein, 1 Flasche Bier, großes Mineral.

Amazing food and very clean everywhere! The service was very nice! Definitely would come here again.

This has become our favourite Indian whether to eat in or take away.

Came here with my 90 year old mother in law. She ate all the Bhuna loved the baileys coffee, we had a table of 6. Very attentive noticed my daughter was 21 but not drinking and brought her a mocktail then she liked it and wanted a real one lol. Service was second to none. Thank you so much and will be back from Ireland soon x

I have visited this restaurant twice inside 6 weeks. The food is lovely and the service absolutely amazing. The restaurant is very cleaning and staff are very helpful. Even though we had a late booking we were not rushed. We will be returning in the future. If you want a good Indian restaurant, i highly recommend Bekesh.

The food at Bekash was delicious, my family and I enjoyed everything we ordered, the service was fantastic staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the restaurant was lovely and clean.

Visited with my wife and 3 daughters on a Tuesday night. Staff were really friendly, and polite, food was superb and the bill didnt hurt too much. What more could you want. Highly recommended and will look forward to my next vist.

Easy to Book a table for christmas Eve just phoned. Very good service, friendly, chatty happy not trying to rush you .or hoovering over you when eating . Lovely cocktails Food hot and tasty . Toilets clean . Best not to drive not much parking around .

The service was the best I've ever witnessed. Next level, they treat you like your in the 7* Dubai. They have that balance of serving you yet, giving you time to making your mind up with food, whilst enjoying your drink. My first time, & certainly not the last time, also food was ok, needs just a pinch of sea salt & would be perfect. Definitely recommend, atmosphere was electric, and they are not too greedy with there prices which drawed me originally to there establishment. I definitely recommend there joint!

Had a date here, food was good, price not too bad, £27 a head for main meal and a couple of drinks, not too bad, I'd go again.

Decent curry house. Ordered a takeaway and it was tasty. Tasted clean & healthy; not super oily like some places. There was no spice in the dishes however, and I would’ve liked a little bit of heat. Will try some other dishes when I order next time. Butter chicken tastes more like a korma. Saag paneer was nice although the portion was small. Bombay aloo was yummy. Delivery was 20 minutes earlier than expected. Good service.

Tasty Indian food. Not too oily and tastes clean & healthy. Portion of saag paneer was a bit on the small side. Enjoyed the Bombay aloo. Butter chicken was not butter chicken - tasted more like a Korma. There wasn’t really any spice in the dishes I ordered above, so I might opt for one of the spicy dishes on the menu next time to see if they get the levels of heat right. Would definitely order again.

The food was great, but the app didn't tell me food was on the way or that it had been delivered. I received a message 1 hr after it arrived to say it was on its way...

I used to use Bekash for takeaway before moving to Devon. We've come back to see friends and couldn't resist getting a curry here. The food is top and service is great too. I had lamb pathia, which was very tender. My wife had chicken madras and she said it was very tasty. I would definitely recommend it here.

30 years of service and good food, Solly has now retired and handed the restaurant to his nephew Azzad. Much better quality than average food. Fresh food with friendly excelant service. If you want to know anything about the food, talk to the staff, they want to get to know you. Wednesday night banqueting deal.

Food wasn't up to standards compared to other restaurants. Also, suprised we had to pay £1.50 to takeaway food that was leftover! Thought that's pretty stingy tactics and forces you to pay, otherwise you feel bad for food going to waste. Waiters were good though, but again, food didn't match the service.

Got to be the best Indian restaurant around, the food is excellent, if your favourite is not on the menu the chef is happy to create it, staff are friendly and happy to have a chat, not all about getting you in and out as quickly as possible. Will be back again and again and again.

What a wonderful place to eat. The food is divine. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. Service is swift and the food cooked to perfection. Perfect.

Food was nice however took 90mins to recieve. Drink prices changed as the night went on until challenged. The coke was from bottles and was flat which the manager stated to "I cant keep opening new bottles everytime you want a coke, maybe you should consider buying the small bottles however they are more expensive" This was my first pint of coke of the night.

After looking for a restaurant able to cater for a group of 7, we managed to get a short notice reservation here - and boy am I glad we did! We were greeted warmly by the owner as soon as we entered, people's coats were taken and hung up, we were seated and waited on so attentively it made the meal even more special that we anticipated. The inside of the restaurant is super cosy and laid out well, and very high-end. The food was absolutely amazing, all of it was delicious (especially the mango chicken, butter chicken, lamb biryani and the special dipping sauce the chef made), and so reasonably priced as well, and the selection of drinks on offer was very good. The next time I'm in Romford, whenever that will be, I'll definitely be going back!

Went out for an evening with friends at their suggestion. What a pleasant surprise, great welcome from the staff. The restaurant was clean and well set out and appointed. Great service from the staff who offered superb options if required. The food when served was hot, tasty and exactly as we expected. The staff took time to explain food options and ensure that we had what was ordered. A fantastic experience from start to finish. Will definitely return, thank you Ems

I order frequently from bekash but the king prawn biryani I had this evening was probably the worst one I've had from anywhere. The king prawns didn't taste right, the biryani was watery and the veg curry was fairly good. It appears either the chef or the way of cooking has changed and I would like bekash to revert back to how they began.

Cannot fault this establishment great all round go and spend your money here...onion barjee... On point...waiter is 10/10... they take pride in what they do from the back of the house to the front.... Been here now 4 times and made to feel wanted....

Had a great evening at Bekash Tandoori. My dad has been a customer since it first opened. We went for his birthday. Arrived and they had made such an effort for him. Put a birthday banner up and star confetti on the table. We were really looked after (including my 7 year old daughter). I’m still thinking about my king prawn dansak! It was delicious. We all enjoyed our meals. Thank you for such a lovely evening with amazing food!

So the food was ok 👍 but we waited over an hr for our dinner NO starters. There's no English options which I know is a cheek to ask when you go to an Indian but it was a birthday dinner and one of the diners can't eat Indian which we usually have a English option but not here.

I used to enjoy eating here however, the food isn't that great anymore. I got chicken tikka rogan and it was really bland.. 0 flavour and I'm not a fussy eater. The onion bhaji tasted stale... and no popadoms. Wouldn't order again.

Love the food and the new decor. Owner is great and very friendly. A new decor inside. Has been upgraded again. A sign of a well run business when they invest in the structure. Food hasn't changed which was great. Chicken dhansak, fish special, bindhi bhaji and cheese with chilli naan. All well seasoned and tasty. Chef here is great and very proud of his food. Service was great and manager and staff give a lot of care and attention. Can't recommend enough. A gem in Romford.

Sully and his team are magnificent. If you want to eat like a King or Queen, let them recommend a dish for you. We ate here the night before our wedding and it felt super special (my in-laws have been coming since it first opened). Drinks flowed constantly and we ate so many scrumptious dishes. We really love Bekash - the service, food and pricing is all top drawer. Tonight was no exception - went for my birthday and found our new favourite dish (Jaipur on the specials - chargrilled king prawns in the most delicious sauce). The nans are like fluffy clouds and the lovely service you get from the staff makes the evening special. Highly recommend 😊

Just had an order delivered costing £34 pounds, the food was cold, leaked all over bottom of the bag, completely tasteless, chicken is hard and delivery driver was none responsive rude! The quality of this food is awful. I'd give zero stars.

If you wanna have Indian food please don’t go to this restaurant. This is a Bengladeshi restaurant with name and menu items as Indian. As an Indian we expect basic flavour from our dish. we have ordered garlic naan ,roti ,Butter chicken and tandoori chicken, what we have served was Bengaldeshi curry with chicken cubes and oil deep fried chicken with colour like tandoori chicken. When asked the person at Resturant he told dishes are Bengladeshi. I don’t whether the owner and the staff’s are still not aware that Indian Bengaladesh got separated . Kindly please change your Resturant name as Bengladeshi Resturant!! Please don't cheat peoples with fake branding!!!

I returned after 23 years to this lovely restaurant. The food, the service and hospitality in general was just as I remember....Awesome. Best Indian in Romford. Thanks to the owner Soli who was very welcoming and took care of all our needs. Thank you Bekash.

Friendly service, and the food is delicious. Good portion sizes, and didnt feel rushed out of the restaurant by quick service.

Haven't visited here for years but was always happy with food etc,but tonight really showed how far this place has gone downhill. I'd heard from a few friends and family that the restaurant had gone downhill but unfortunately I decided to give it a try. Food was OK at best apart from one dish that was so salty it was inedible, had poppadoms,1 main corse each,2 rice's between us,2 nans between us,1 sag paneer and 1 chips( there were 3 of us) had 2 pints of beer 2 ciders a lemonade and 2 cokes and the bill was over £100. Which is ridiculous, a few weeks back at another local Indian we had more and the bill was 85 quid. Don't waste your time or money going here, award winning? Maybe 10 years ago but definitely living on past glory. Service was pretty poor also,to the point where I asked the 2 people I was dining with If we'd done something to upset the staff. Dismal

Threw it away .. the whole meal was disgusting. Greasy, cold, flavourless,abysmal. Called the restaurant to complain and they said to request a refund from Just Eat but Just Eat have refused. Total waste of money.

Probably the worst Indian food I've had, the chicken tikka was big slices of chicken and didn't taste very nice and was just covered onion with a really dark red sauce, it just looked like one big mess, the sag aloo just had so much spinach and hardly any potatoes again the dish was just cover in green and looked like a mess, the tarka dall was ok, I wouldn't order from this restaurant again.

The best and only Indian restaurant I will eat at. The service is amazing. The owner and workers are really kind and helpful. I am a loyal customer to the bekash. I come here every year for my birthday and other special occasions and it is worth your money.

Placed order at 18.10, had a notification 30 minutes later that driver was on route. Enough time had passed estimate delivery, call restaurant said it wouldn't be long. Sorry for being late. Another 30 minutes passed it turnt up. Cold and a couple wring items. Chips were wet and soggy, bread cold, chicken cold. Just a terrible order. Won't be ordering again

Been here several times before with From from my athletic club. Food not up to previous standard.

First time ordering here. I'm punjabi, and feel these dishes are a decent imitation. It's not hitting the spot in terms of flavour, I won't be ordering from here again, as I'm sure there are other restaurants that provide a more authentic taste. Portions are decent if not on the small side. I guess it depends on your palette, but this isn't for me.

I was expecting the delivery around 8.40pm and I got the call just after 8pm from the driver, so I went to collect the order, only to find he was at the wrong Travelodge. All the food was nice and hot, and very tasty, however the chicken had bones in it, which put me off slightly.

Delicious as always but just a shame this delivery didn’t give any mint sauce with the onion bharji as they usually do. Delivery is about an hour but arrived as forecast. Highly recommended.
