We found the food to be good. Various options and freshly made. The 10/10 for the service as they made my little kid very comfortable throughout the dining experience. We had a nice evening ✨.

Organized a baby shower function with 50 members head count at real taste of India party hall. First of all I need to say about Mr.sreekumar sir who was very down to earth who tirelessly attended phone calls and was always available to sort out things on the function day. The staff there were need to manage party as well as their table bookings. To say about food it was really auspicious with their taste of the south indian rice and food was delivered as expected and on time. All over the function was really ended well with all the team members effort. Thank you team for the overwhelming memories happened there.

I went to Real Taste Of India yesterday with my friends. We ordered 'Chatti Choru' and 'Chicken Paal Porotta'. The quality that they served the food in was very excellent. I would definitely visit this restaurant again and I recommend it to everyone.

Hi , yesterday I took sadya from the taste of India as takeaway.The food was very delicious and awesome. The curries taste as the same in Kerala, so tasty. The variety of payasam for sadya I took from there. Everything was good. I recommend the other customers to must visit the restaurant at once.

Recently celebrated my son’s first birthday.. and since many of our guests were from native Kerala.. I was really keen to provide delicious and authentic Kerala food. So a friend of mine suggested me Real Taste of India. I had a chance to meet Mr. Sreekumar Potti… such a gentleman and genuinely understands one’s need. He helped me with a wonderful choice of menu. Now, the food was so delicious and authentic that my family and our guests never felt we were away from Kerala… One of the best Mutton stew ever had.. and Dum Biryani was so aromatic and flavourful… Food played an integral part of our celebration and we were very much happy to cater our beloved guests with Real Taste of India. Will recommend everyone if looking for something authentic Kerala cuisine . Cheers to entire team of Real Taste of India. Thank you for making it a memorable one.

We ordered Onam Sadhya for a function at home. Mr Sreekumar has provided us with all the options and detailed menus and has been very helpful in finalising the menu. On the day, all the food was packaged and ready for collection on time. The quantity and quality of the food were amazing and all the guests enjoyed it. Special mention of the Ada Pradhaman and Aviyal. They are really good.

Clean restaurant, great food and real value for money. They also have space to park which is a real plus given their location. We went back a 2nd time as we really liked it the first time around. The fish curry meal was amazing and so was the dosa and medu vada. Would go here again.

If you lneed authentic Indian and Kerala foods, then this is the place, I can vouch it as a Keralaite. Really great taste and quantity. The staff is very polite and helpful. The seating is not crowded and plenty of space between seats. You can also arrange parties for 20-30 people, or could be more. They have a parking space at the side for use between 6-pm-11pm, but it is not cleaerly marked and hence you need to ask them. There are lots of parking on the street around the area. Weekends could get crowded and hence beter to book. Will definitely recommend.

I'm disappointed with the service; despite the online promise of a 15% discount for collection, they refused it when I placed my order. To add to the letdown, there were also no tissues or spoons included. Overall, this experience falls short of expectations, and I wouldn't recommend this place based on my encounter.

We had a really good experience here tonight. The butter chicken was amazing! Everything we tasted was great, we had plenty to eat and came back with a doggy back at a reasonable price. Would happily recommend.

Amazing cocktails and a peaceful ambience friendly staff

This Place need Lots of Improvement, they are taking it for granted. Tried food here many times, very bad, slow service, food needs lots of Improvement. A recent egg Kothu was disaster, made my dinner a worst feeling. The chef should know how much black pepper to put in one Kothu. They put in 5 spoons of black pepper in one Kothu, can't eat the meal. Good bye , won't recommend any one and come back again.

We have celebrated our son’s birthday at place (banquet hall) and it has been a great experience. Uday and his team looked after us since I paid the first visit to organise the event until we packed up after the event. The food we ordered was really tasty and very good in quality as well as quantity. Highly recommend.

The atmosphere was very good but service was not that good really for us. Briyani is good but not all the dishes are good.

The rice was very cold and old. The quality was very poor.

Very bad experience, 50 mins of wait time for a pothichor and a chattichor. Pothichor was worse, the banana leaf was broken and rice was left to newspaper (donno where all that newspaper was used). The chammanthi was froze and the quantity of the side dishes was not to the standard.

This was my first time to this restaurant, even though some of my friends have been before for Onam Sadhya. I was not sure initially as the Sadhya was pricier than many other options around Bromley. But decided to try it anyway. Glad we went to this restaurant. Had a delicious, fun evening. We were a group of 12 including kids. All of us thoroughly enjoyed the Onam Sadhya. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff were excellent, with a smiling face, polite and extremely helpful. All second/third servings requested was provided. They even explained how/what combinations to have for certain items like boli+payasam, the pradaman with banana. The tables and sorroundings were clean. It was so nostalgic when they served moru to cupped hands. Felt super festive. We look to go other again for the Parotta and curries that the staff claim to be "Must Try" and "Popular". I hope to go there again with the gang for my daughter's birthday.

Hands down the best Sadya in London! After sampling Sadyas across the city the last 5 years, I finally found the real gem here this year. Fantastic spread, great quality, excellent service and perfect ambience with food served the south Indian style!! Cannot wait for 2024 Sadya :)

We have had the best Onam Sadya from this place. Excellent service and really tasty dishes. The place was so crowded - yet, the staff were very patient in serving the right course. They even made sure that everyone got all the 3 payasams. The experience was absolutely lovely. Totally worth the money and the distance we travelled to have the Sadya 😀

It was n first time experience with the wonderful team of RTOI. Me alongside my friends had a lovely time. A couple of staff members were very welcoming and glad to serve us in spite of the busy schedule with a beautiful smile on their face. Congratulations to the whole team and bless wishes. I had the Onam sadya at the restaurant today. This was my first sadya at the real tase of India & didn't expect it to be this crowded however the food & the service did not disappoint. They had over 40+ dishes on the plantain leaf. I liked the payasams + boli the best; other dishes were good too. I was most impressed with the service, despite being so busy all the restaurant staff were kind & polite, checking for refills & asking if they can help with anything for my 2 year old daughter. I walked out with a full belly & a smile on my face. I will recommend the sadya (they even have a takeaway option). Thank you for the experience.

We went in today for the much awaited ‘Sadhya’ as it’s always nice to try it outside one’s own kitchen. Im usually quite positive and tolerant with variations, but this was sheer disappointment. Flavourless, bland and cold dishes on a plantain leaf is only an appetite spoiler. At least the rice should be warm and fresh without calling a compromise. For £21.00 per person…total nuts!!!! Save it for their regular menu or Pothichooru which is way better. Food aside - staff are pleasant and friendly. Atmosphere - enjoyable.

Horrible experience. Waited 30 minutes for food to arrive (starters). Dosa had no coconut subal/chutney. Masala dosa had too teaspoon worth of filling when it is supposed to be FILLED crepe pancake. Taste was nice. Staff are friendly.

Had bought byriyani from here before and liked it. So, ordered two chicken biryani online take away today. However, the rice was spoiled, will never buy from here anymore.

The restaurant looks nice. The staff is really friendly and take their time helping you. The food tastes amazing. Quite spicy, but I suppose that's what to expect at an indian restaurant. I was not as expensive as I expected

Hands down the best Kerala food we have ever had in the UK. Starters and mains were equally good. Pal parotta is the personal favourite. Will definitely visit again. Also highly recommended.

We will not recommend this restaurant for family as even after 1hr they haven't served our food and whenever we check about the time they say will serve in 5 minutes.. but there were no other customers... they could have intimate us when we have given the order, but they did not.. we went along with our kids when we went there and after waiting for 1 hrs our kids become tired... worst experience... there are other good malayali restaurants in Croydon.

The worst service which we have ever experienced in London... We were waiting for more than 1 HR and still they were not serving the food. Attitude/behaviour of the staff was also not acceptable...

Food was yummy very delicious service little slow but good and very polite very friendly but the was they packed up my take away food wasn’t good at all all was leaking and food containers they used was foiled so all was leaked and mess us all bag car and all so Please use all plastic containers or some good one sorry was despondent need to cleans up all and food gone cold many thanks please don’t to this to other customers.

Taste of India is the perfect spot to fill our hearts if we are away from home and missing our food. The quality of their dishes and service is highly excellent, and they provide unique dishes that are hard to find elsewhere. Also interesting is their setting and interior decor , which reflects Indian culture.
