Chilli Lounge in Kirklees

The best place with the best people! Me and my partner Zac often frequent this restaurant, the food is phenomenal, the staff are amazing. I use to order take out when I lived in Huddersfield and it was sooo good, when I told my partner about it and we decided to go as we usually go out once a week for date night He literally fell in love with the place and we often joke that he loves chilli lounge more than me haha They have lots of different options which my partner loves to try (he gets something different every time we go) and he says he’s never had a bad dish. (This restaurants has won awards in the past) The staff are very patient with Zac as he takes a little while to order and asks lots of questions, they always accommodate his requests as he often asks to mix dishes and try new things that isn’t on the menu Food is honestly amazing that we no longer go to any other curry house but this one! Portion size is great and we often take home left overs (Great prices too) The staff are honestly amazing, they truly deserve all their customers. They take their time talking to you and getting to know you even if they’re busy, they make us feel so welcome every time we go, we recently had a baby who cries a lot and they often come over and help me as a new mum. I don’t feel anxious or nervous about him crying because they honestly just want to make sure we are happy and okay. I can honestly say they are a genuine family running a spotless restaurant with a passion for their food and customers, they are really good people to the point where I believe if I walked in and said me and my baby are hungry and have no money they would still sit us down and look after us, so if you are unsure about going just go it’s a good experience every time and you won’t regret it!

Fantastic Meal Visiting Huddersfield & had the Best curry we’ve had in ages. We had chicken tikka starter huge pieces & shami kebab. Followed by chicken madras & chicken potato & mushroom balti with chapati, rice & naan. Delicious. Service brilliant. Licenced but bring your own alcohol from mid April

This is a brilliant restaurant. Smart, super friendly, great menu, superb food. Great for couples or night with friends. Ginger chilli chicken an absolute winner!

Best food in Huddersfield! Never a bad meal there 😋 Mixed kebab starter is awesome. A meal in itself. Special tikka massala with pease pilau and a cheese n onion garlic naan, washed down with a large kingfisher beer.

The food here is consistently excellent. The blend of spices with top quality ingredients is a delight. If you want the sort of curry that brings you out in a sweat then you will be disappointed. This place is far more subtle than that!

We have been visiting Chilli Lounge for years. We visited tonight, Christmas Eve. As always, the staff are fabulous, the restaurant is very clean and the food is absolutely wonderful. The popadoms and pickle tray are the best ever; the onion bhajis and shami kebabs are absolutely divine. Beautiful nans, tasty mushroom rice and stunning curries. It is a privilege to visit this restaurant and we thank the staff for their hard work and wonderful service. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all your team.

Great food and service every time we go. You have to try their naans; amazing!

A glass of coke was nearly as much as a pint and was as flat as a fart. The curry was oily and casserole like in consistency. Would not recommended. Not a great spend of 26 per person

It's a nice clean place for Huddersfield and hidden gem

Good fresh food and notes for changers were followed. Starters were a bit soggy pakoras & fish pakora batter oily but I don’t know how this could be resolved, maybe need to try packaging differently but overall very good & driver also friendly.

I honestly like to write bad reviews specially on businesses.I visited last week and was disappointed. I had to ask for napkins, which should have been on the table. The food was bland and lacked flavor. I special told them to make the curry spicy but then haven’t even bother that.Overall, it was an underwhelming experience.

Great food, fast & friendly service, reasonable prices

Excellent from the start, service food, everything. The only slightly negative thing i would say is that my drink lemonade and lime was a bit warm even though i had ice added to it, i think the lemonade should have come out of the fridge apart from that everything else was absolutely fine.

Been to this restaurant for many years. Our friends are regulars who live in Huddersfield so we automatically look forward to eating here. Food is always fresh, delicious and tasty. The staff are polite and very friendly. 'Beer is always cold' and makes the evening as a lot of Indian restaurants have stopped selling alcohol.

This is our second order from here and I am very impressed with the ordering, the delivery, very kind delivery people and the excellent quality of the food. So very tasty, I can’t complain about anything

Delicious Indian food in the heart of Huddersfield town centre. Highly recommend giving Chilli Lounge a try, the smells that erupt from their kitchen are out of this world delicious. Perfect spot for special occasions with loved ones to enjoy delicious food that is guaranteed to please all. A four seat table next to the fish tank looks like the best seats in the house. I especially loved the giant garlic naan served on a spike, but everything I’ve tried here has been very delicious indeed. Staff are very friendly and incredibly accommodating

whilst service & delivery was quick ( food arrived early) it was a huge let down. my chicken tikka mackhani dish was awful. it was literally cream of chicken soup & a bit of coconut & sandwich chicken. it was not tikka, it hadn't been cooked in a tikka, it hadn't been flavoured. I kept seeing 'grey' bits which made me feel offput, when I looked closer, I could see it was pre packaged chicken, like what you can get in the supermarket. as for my bombay potatoes, £5.50 for 5 halves of potato! grim

The starters were lovely my chicken tikka makani was not very nice very watery and no flavour the other curry was ok the keema rice was also tasteless garlic naan not to bad very disappointing as we visit the restaurant regularly 😌😌

Best delivery Indian food we’ve found in Hudds - delicious. Every curry is different, not just one sauce with different stuff chucked in (like many). Now our go to Indian take away!

As always hot and delicious. Every takeaway I have had from here has always been good.

We have been coming here for many years since the restaurant opened. It has beautiful and clean decor. The staff are fantastic, thoroughly nice people who can’t do enough for you. The meal was superb as always. Their pickle tray is particularly delicious and lots of it. The lads have done well to keep a successful restaurant going all this time and they deserve every accolade. Looking forward to our next visit already.

Food was hot and on time, quality good and flavourful, would definitely order again.

Over all the food was pretty good however the Nan breads were from a packet and warmed up I reckon. Nothing beats a fresh Tandoori cooked Nan to elevate a curry.

Here's my recommendation: a seekh kebab to start, then the king prawn worri. If you've never seen it anywhere else, neither have I but it's absolutely wonderful - served with green beans which perfectly compliment the prawns. The young lad who served us was friendly and attentive. and there's ice-cold Carlsberg on draught. A lovely evening.

Quite disappointed this time, curry was bland, I also ordered a large garlic naan it was tiny, chops were dry, rice was bland, fish very bland, chips absolutely drenched in oil Very poor this time

The staff curry is amazing. If you don't mind on the bone meat I'd definitely recommend it. So much flavour and piping hot when it arrived too. Mild spice levels too if you're not into stuff that blows your head off.

First time I’ve had a bad one. Basically it was a tub of watery oil. I don’t know what went wrong but it was inedible. This from someone that has never bothered to post a review before. That’s how bad it was.

Fabulous channa paneer balti (this is my go-to dish in most places), lovely crispy pakoras, good choice on the menu with some different things too. Will definitely go back.

I came to chilli lounge for the first time, first impressions were the decor was amazing,we sat down and the staff were extremely nice and friendly,the food came out pretty much straight away and was amazing 10/10 for everything ,even a complementary cake for the birthday girl,,, deffo will be coming back and highly recommended

Best curry we've found in the area.

A great find in the centre of Huddersfield last Thursday night. I had Deresh Gosht which was tender and succulent. It was definitely worth the price.

Couldn't fault this restaurant. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious, and the restaurant was beautifully decorated.

Food and service were excellent, just a little quiet which was surprising to say how good everything was.

The worst curry ever, no spice whatsoever, sweet and sickly, was supposed to be a dopioza but was more like a chinese sweet and sour.
