The food here is always spot on! The garlic chilli Balti and the biryanis are stunning! Lovely restaurant 😊

Ordered take away on 4/12/23 and 10/12/23. Same meal Velvet Lounge Special, on requirements I requested that the meal be medium spiced. When I eat at the restaurant this is always perfect. However this evening this was too heavily spiced. Please read and act on the instructions.

We have eaten here twice now. Both times have been really great. Delicious food, very good service and awesome cocktails.

The best food in the whole of West Yorkshire The starters, where do I start from, lamb chops, seeks kebabs and dynamite Prawns WOW THE BEST!!! Curries are 10 out of 10 The lads working there always make sure you have everything (alert all times)

Fish curries are great here - as are paneer, daal and vegetable dishes; I'm a big fan of the spinach, potato and daal curry. The staff are friendly and welcoming. A great place to eat.

Stunning food, with friendly staff. Very reasonably priced and attentive service. Had a masala fish for starter and king prawn agni for main. I'll certainly visit again if I'm in the area and would highly recommend a visit. They seem to be popular for takeaway as well.

We tried the Velvet Lounge for the first time recently and really enjoyed it. The parking lets it down a bit. but it's quite small inside so it doesn't have to be enormous. The poppadoms & pickle tray were excellent , our starters and mains were delicious. The staff were very friendly but they brought the starters before we had finished the poppadoms and brought the mains the very second we had finished the starters, which makes some people feel rushed but we don't mind . We plan to return as the food was completely on point.

Waited for nearly 1 hour to be seated after booking a table and time slot. Service was very poor and didn't see a menu until we were sat down. Didn't even get offered a drink while we were waiting. Very unprofessional.

As usual everything went smoothly. Absolutely heaving but staff dealt with it. Food ordered no waiting except to read menu and wine list.

A superb fine dining experience. I went on a culinary adventure and was lost for words. Not your usual run of the mill curry house. Will be back again soon. Keep up the good work lads

Excellent food quality and flavours. Plenty of staff and nice atmosphere. Some of the best curry house dishes enjoyed in recent years. If you haven't tried them yet, book and table and visit.

Food was really nice. Portions on the small side, so if your hungry just order a little extra. Deco in photos look so much more nice than in real. BUT still a nice little place with great food. Staff friendly.

Food was nice, but nothing special. Some staff were friendly, but others didn't smile and were forgetful. We had to ask for wine glasses to come to the table after our bottle of wine was delivered. We also had to remind them about a beer we had ordered. And had to chase up our starters. The place was very busy as well. Good that they have so much business. And explains there slight forgetfulness, but not somewhere to go for the covid anxious.

Best curry in Mirfield without a doubt!

Menu is limited food not as good as Ruby's lounge was, there are better takeaways nearby.

Very stylish, service was good and staff friendly. The food was superb, the Lamb Karahi was tasty and perfectly spiced. All four of us enjoyed our meals. Four people, two courses with a few extras to share, couple of drinks a piece and under £100. Fantastic and will hopefully be going again soon.

Absolutely beautiful food as always. The staff are really friendly and make you feel so welcome. Love this place . . and a good gin selection at the bar!

The meal we had was a takeaway delivered in the stated time and was one of the best meals we have eaten in a restaurant or as a takeaway for a long time. Well recommended to try can't wait for another meal, and thanks to the staff we met for the service given.

Booked a table for 8 and needed to adjust the time of the table, the staff were more than accommodating for this request. Lovely menu with a great price point, lots of choice and all items on the menu were available to order with no issues. Food wise the curry I ordered was a chicken Karachi and came with a generous amount of meat, well cooked and flavours were perfectly dialled in, not too rich with a medium heat. Giant naan breads are killer and really good value for money. Great atmosphere, it was evident that people come here for the great food and service, lots of families, friends and couples just having a nice time - a real testament to the owners.

Just had a takeaway from Rubys. Have been there several times before and always enjoyed the food. However tonight it took an hour and 15 mins to get here after being told 40 mins, we rang to find out where the food was. The butter chicken was cold and the naan was not cooked properly and also cold. The king prawn jalfrezi was OK though. Not a good experience this time.

Best curry in Mirfield was sat down quickly the food was outstanding as per usual. Surprisingly had a nice selection of gins, monkey 47 with fever tree tonic is the one! 10/10 service, fantastic set of lads in there. I would definitely recommend!

Get takeaways from here regularly and dine in occasionally. Consistently good curries which is all you can ask for really.

We had a table booked and 6 of us ate. The restaurant is clean and decor was attractive but subtle. We went in the winter and the restaurant was warmed up nicely too. Toilets were also spotless, which I like to see. FOOD: The chicken pakoras were gorgeous, big and plenty of them. Other restaurants I've only got 3. The curries were amazing. the waiters were very attentive and polite. The only thing that was a little off putting was when the waiters were stood in a line of 3/4 starring. obviously watching in case a customer would like attention. But I Think they might need cleaning duties or something while we finish our meals!!! 'll.
